Flavor wise it was a 4 star and that is what counts, right? A nice little bite of spice in my chimichanga before adding any salsa. The tomatilla and salsa were nothing special but tasted fine… the did not make me exclaim«Oh My Guacamole»…it was just O.Queso. The quantity was large and filling. The beans had a good flavor… I didn’t taste rice because i asked for more beans instead and did not want. But still more food than I could eat.

It’s actually surprisingly good. The fajita torta got me through my pregnancy! Lol! Their mini taco plate is pretty good too. They have a really good caldo de res that has eased tummy aches, and their tortillas are nice thick and warm! The flour and corn tortillas are great, and not paper thin, and they don’t skimp on their plates. I love the breakfast tacos and a sweet tea, to go!

Excellent food did not disappoint. I had the fajita ranchero and it was perfect. Recommended by a friend as authentic and I was pleased. Prices are excellent also.

Dirty. Not authentic Mexican food. Terrible service, waitresses were disrespectful(younger girl with bright lipstick and middle aged woman)… **kept rolling their eyes at me and hardly ever checked up on me when I was nothing but sweet and respectful to them and even left them gratuity. The red salsa was terrible, too watery, runny, had an odd after taste of beans… I ordered tacos al pastor, and the meat used looked off and did NOT taste like what it is supposed to. Just TERRIBLE. Shortly after, I started feeling very sick. Stay away from this place on Culebra Rd.

Had a Chili Relleno and after a few hours I was feeling sick. Decided to look them up on their food inspection report and saw they had 32 demerits. Guess I am not eating there again. How many problems must you have before they shut you down.

Chips aren’t good. Salsas aren’t good. Service isn’t that good. Its not very clean. But if you don’t have a car and need a fix of cheap Mexican food, it will do. Don’t go through the drive-thru, especially if you cant speak Spanish. Even if you can speak Spanish, you wont be able to understand anything out of the busted speaker. I recommend any lunch special or the gorditas. I also recommend eating at La tapatia up the street instead.

I saw this gas station Mexican restaurant and was instantly intrigued by it so me and my wife stopped there and omg it was delicious they serve amazing tortilla chips as well as warm hot salsa which we couldn’t get enough of. I ordered the Texas plate which was delicious and my wife had the chicken fajitas which were equally delicious are waitress was very kind and helpful and altogether it was like 18 $ that blew us away. This is the best place for cheap amazing authentic Mexican food give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

Ready to try all the tacos! Found this place by accident from missing a turn and was in serious need of a quick cheap lunch. Ordered a carne guisada with cheese taco. The meat was tender, fell apart easily, and they were just huge chunks of delicious! The tortilla was a perfect simple yummy. Will be returning!

We live very close and come for breakfast often. The beans are great — get a bean and bacon breakfast taco for a sodium delight. Lunch is also reliably good. Nothing fancy(you shouldn’t expect fancy out of an old 7 – 11 anyway), but good.

I’ve been going here since 2006. Cheap, decent food and it normally comes very fast. The service is hit-or-miss, but that’s not why I go there. Today I had the cheese enchiladas, one of my favorites. It tastes the same as it did back in 2006! How’s that for consistency?

Came for breakfast. I ordered the heuvos rancheros and a side migas taco. The food was pretty authentic. The migas taco was served on flour, which I thought was a little weird, but all in all I was satisfied with my meal. The service was pretty poor but I’m assuming that’s limited to the server we had. I’d have given 4 stars had we had good service. Try this place, but be prepared to wait at your table and ask a few times for things.

Moved from San Antonio a few months back to Austin, and this place is always a stop when we’re in town! Service is spotty but they have the best home made tortillas and beans one could ask for! The salsa is great– and their spicy green salsa is even better! They fry their own chips from their delicious tortillas, and they are also delicious. I haven’t had everything on the menu but I can say that their chicken flautas and carne guisada are also good. Their gorditas are a little on the thick side, and their barbacoa(sp?) is pretty dry, but those are the only complaints I really have.

A year ago, a burger & fries was $ 2.50 plus tax. Now it’s about $ 4.99. And the quality of the food is about the same. Price needs to come back down or increase the serving amount.

Its hard for me to just pop into any of the many Jaliscos we have around San Antonio because I am so picky about tortillas and bacon. So they got one out of two right, the tortillas. I have to agree with the first review, James C., they got our order wrong but I did go through the drive thru with a 14 taco order. Chorizo egg — ok Bean & cheese — good Chicken fajita — good
