Nothing spectacular. Many shoes to choose from. Store was not as organized as I thought it would be. Employees were helpful. It just didn’t do much for me. This to me was an average place to buy shoes with many options. They had other items to but, nothing really caught my attention like that.

Basically, this is Burlington’s shoe section… on crack. No really. I’m pretty sure that Burlington owns this place, but I could be wrong. Rows are set up in a DSW style except using boxes instead of fixtures. Kinda annoying to look at for the merchandiser in me, but cost effiecent and effective. Some of the exact same shoes and handbags can be found next door, with similar pricing. Some big callouts? Michael Kors shoes and handbags. Ray Ban sunglasses. Coach shoes. Cole Han shoes and wallets. Pretty good prices and selection of sizes. This will definitely be a stop for me to check out new arrivals and new clearance. Dropping one star because the restrooms were GROSS and we were never spoken to for our entire visit.

The mens shoe selection is limited. I saw 3 styles I was interested in, and none of them were available in the correct size. Not to mention the employee that kept passing by me to adjust the shoes on that aisle never offered any assistance.

This place is paradise for a shoe diva!!! When I’m looking for shoes, I come here first. I’m here at least once a month, and I rarely walk out empty-handed. The quality is better than Rack Room Shoes and Shoe Carnival. The prices are better than DSW. I even get my kids’ shoes here. They carry most of the top brands/designers. I’ve told all my family, friends, and co-workers. They love it too.

As incredible as it seems… In another lifetime, I was a Clotheshorse — with a closetful of designer outfits purchased in chi-chi boutiques… and I had a different pair of shoes for EVERYSINGLEOUTFIT I owned. In my defense, I then worked for a firm that placed a lot of emphasis on looking sharp. Plus, it was a bunch of years ago: I like to think I’ve evolved past the«mirror, mirror» stage(and frankly, it appears the MIRROR thinks so, too). Have to admit, though, I still just adore shoe stores! And that goes doubly for MJM — a vast warehouse of footwear: all different styles, colors, sizes and price ranges. Want an inexpensive, trendy heel with manmade uppers? They got ‘em. A brand-name«sensible» shoe in leather? Got ‘em. Sporty canvas? Yep. Gladiator sandals? Check. Embellished ballerina flats? Patent Mary Janes? Rhinestone-encrusted flip-flops? Size 13 leopard-print drag queen platforms? Check, check, check… And check! It’s not a fancy place — just rows and rows of shelves, stacked with box upon box upon box of pumps, mules, sandals, loafers, clogs, slippers, boots… and everything in-between. If you’ve never shopped here, here are some pointers to make your trip a bit more enjoyable and productive… First of all: unless you have a specific idea of what you want — and are VERY disciplined — plan on spending an hour or so browsing and trying on various styles. Second, let me issue a warning: in all probability, you WILL wind up buying more pairs of shoes than you’d intended… but that’s okay — the prices are so good here, you can afford it! Third, this is a great place to drag your bff — but not your spouse. If it’s not convenient to drop him at home before you begin your splurge, then instead drop him at Hooters(which conveniently shares a parking lot with the strip center where MJM is located): he’ll be perfectly content, I promise you, to sip suds, chomp on wings, watch the game and ogle hotties while you’re leisurely trying on every single pair of shoes in the store [win-win]. And my final tip? Go online and sign up for MJM’s e-mails: every couple of months, they’ll send you a coupon!

Like Rack Room or DSW, this place is wall-to-wall designer and brand-name shoes at discount prices. If you’re willing to walk the aisles, there are loads of deals to be found. As with most stores of this kind, trying to figure out the actual organization pattern takes a minute or two. They feature the hot deals and trendy finds up front, naturally, while the back racks hold an impressive display of clearance items. That’s where I found my pick – a nice set of 40% off pumps to go with a designer dress I’d bought a couple weeks prior.
