Jim’s Restaurants

Terrible today!!! People are walking out due to slow or no food servers. Only 3 wait staff on the floor and not very friendly at that. Food took 30 to arrive at out table with no apologies. They are all moving slow and so is the manager.
Off day I supose…

This locations food is one of the better ones ! Staff is extremely nice. We’re here on the managers birthday she must be a very sweet lady because everyone adores her ! She seems wonderful glad we started coming here !

My family and I are in town for vacation and couldn’t decide on a place to eat our first night here so we decided on Jim’s. It was the first time I had been to a Jim’s in probably 15 years. The service was great! Our waiter (John) was awesome and the food was very good!

Jim’s is the place for Breakfast ! Chorizo Tacos are awesome! Platter was so big, I practically rolled out the place. I wish we had a Jim’s in Denton, Tx.

Went there for breakfast with my daughter after we could not get in to Denny’s or ihop on a Sunday. There was a thirty min wait, we got seated right away. the server was very nice and professional. The food Was pretty good and did not take long to get. I would rather eat here than Denny or I hop any day.

came here for breakfast with my dad we were trying to go to dennys and ihop on a sunday what a bad choice 30 min wait for both, but i am so glad we found this place, we walked right in and were seated right away and melissa was our server, she was very upbeat and nice. great food the pancakes were really good and my dad had the western omlet and he said it was great! the coffee tasted great :) yummy. ill be back :)

A long-​time diner favorite in Central Texas. As a kid I used to go here a lot with my grandparents. This particular location is just around the corner from where I live, and is often times a place that we stop at when we are heading back home from being out of town. Jim’s is a good spot for breakfast, a burger, or some other kind of sandwich. Their catfish entrée is also quite good.

The first thing I noticed when I walked through the doors was a woman chain smoking underneath a giant Texas flag, a definite sign that I wasn’t in Minnesota anymore. So I went with it and ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, which apparently is a hamburger battered like fried chicken then given the hot oil treatment and served with a ton of gravy. Who knew? A little bit of salsa for the hashbrowns, and I was regretting the fact that there was no way I was going to finish this tasty dish. My friends ordered differently, but said similar things about their meals.
It’s a slightly better, slightly cheaper version of most national chain breakfast places (albeit is a San Antonio chain). And that’s not a bad thing.
