Unfortunately, housekeeping here was lacking. We spent 4 nights here and every day it was something different. From hair in the bathtub to not cleaning the coffee maker. Not leaving coffee or creamer for the next morning. Filth around the legs of the beds. Things that make you wonder how clean the room really was with the things that you couldn’t see.
The fridge did not work properly as our water was frozen every morning. The water pressure in the shower fluctuated constantly and the shower head was like needles. There was no way to adjust it.
I would not stay there again.

I will definitely look for another Homewood Suites when I travel, based on my experience here. Our room was nice, with comfortable beds and pillows, and nice bedding, too; flat screen TVs in the bedroom and living area; and a well equipped kitchen that included a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher, along with some essential kitchen accoutrements. The free dinner (Monday — Thursday) was surprisingly good: bbq pulled pork, soup, potato salad, peas, fresh leafy green salad with lots of veggies and toppings including steamed shrimp, and strawberry shortcake for dessert — and it included wine and beer. Breakfast was equally good, with a large variety of options for a hot and/​or cold breakfast, including make your own waffles, ostmeal, cold cereals, juices, eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt and toppings. Ice machine was well placed, away from rooms. The fitness room looked nice, but we didn’t need it, since we were in town for a tennis tournament.
A few minor complaints: The ceiling fan in the bedroom had one speed: hurricane force! The in-​room coffee service was disappointing, but it was easy enough to get good coffee and good creamer in the dining room in the morning. The light switch to the bathroom was in an odd place outside the bathroom, difficult to find in the middle of the night. ESPN didn’t come in on the living room tv, but it did in the bedroom.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, great value for a comfortable suite with lots of amenities.

I am a huge fan of the Hilton Homewood Suites line. This hotel definitely met my expectations. The suite was as big as I like them, everything was super clean, and there were small welcome gifts preset inside the room that made me feel appreciated as a customer (free water bottles and cookies). The pool was a really great size that, although not very deep, allowed for actual swimming of laps for several guests at a time (although it was mostly used by kids). The dinner and breakfast options were also pretty good. They also had a closed office space with a computer and printer. And their wifi was fast and reliable. Furthermore, their location was also really good. It was about 20min from where I needed to go (for a concert) and near a ton of food places. I’d most definitely stay here again.

If WiFi access is important to you, don’t stay here.

Reason for my star rating: regular rate price point in comparison to amenities and location. However, it gets 5 stars in the «helpful and courteous» department. Read on for more about that.
Tip: If you book through Priceline, know that Priceline buys up the smoking rooms at this hotel, and when you book this hotel through Priceline you do not get a smoking option to check «yes» or «no» on. Do not blame the hotel — they were very, very nice about this whole thing. I called the hotel once I realized what was going to happen and they very happily and quickly changed me to a non-​smoking room. But people who book this at the last minute via Priceline may not have that option.
Quick hits: good bed, quiet room, a/​c unit is typical window style unit but quieter and controlled at the wall for more temperature finesse, professional and helpful staff, decent breakfast options for all types, nice outdoor pool, but no hot tub? (didn’t find one)
In short, it’s a nice enough place to stay, but the price point on the hotel website is a bit high. So if you can get it via a discount site or with coupons, go for it. Just be fully aware about what you’re actually getting.
