Buffalo Wings & Rings

I like it here… I have had a few of there dishes, and every time I have no complaints. I usually come just to play poker with Primere Poker League, but I always end up eating and enjoying some nice cold beers with good people. Not to forget I get to watch all the various games playing.

It’s a nice place to watch fights or get wings. I wouldn’t get anything other than wings here. Most times waitresses won’t come back if you’re watching the fight after a long time. Tonight the waitress tried charging us early even though we were staying another two hours for the fight. Then she tried grabbing her tip quickly before we even left. Somethings I’ve seen here are really shady. For example, they’ll ask you to rate them five stars or they’ll charge a cover charge for the fights.

Very excited to see Buffalo Wings and Rings here in San Antonio! Service was absolutely great and we were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in! Highly recommend for some great wings!!!

Good place for wings — large tv’s everywhere all tuned to various games.
I like that I can have wings and not blow my calories/​carbs for the day.

garlic/​Parm boneless wings are a good choice — my formally fave sweet Thai chili not so much :) BUT they are tasty!
side salads (4.50) and steamed broccoli ($ 3) available as well as free celery & carrot sticks so you can skip the fries or chips — steal a few from a friend.
service is usually good — it was VERY good this visit — waitress was quick, efficient and kept us happy.

My boyfriend and I have come here quite a few times. The host staff always seems a bit lost and nowhere to be found… But the service is great. We have had Kevin S as our server the last 2 times we’ve come here and he is great! So polite, takes care of our drinks often and makes sure our orders came out how they were supposed to. He is also super funny and personable! The food has always been more than exceptional! The wings are great and flavorful and the gyro quesadillas are the bomb! I highly recommend this place to anyone:)

Meh. It was a cool spot. I wasn’t impressed with the food. The beer selection was impressive. They have some decent craft beers. The service was good. There are TVs all over so you can catch the game.

My husband looooves wings. It’s no secret. And since the closest place to us is Wing Stop (which has abysmal service) I thought we should try another place out to satisfy his craving for wings.
I think this place is A-​OK. My hubs said he still prefers WingStop (who knows why) due to the dryness of the wings at Buffalo Wings & Rings, but I thought the sauces were still pretty tasty when I tried them out while we were here. He got the BBQ, the lemon pepper rub, and the regular sauce.
We also tried out their sampler with the fried pickles (really, you can’t go wrong with fried pickles), mozzarella sticks, and … something else. It was good. Also, their drinks are reasonably priced — I got a mango margarita with a chile salt rim for like, $ 3.75. What?!
Our total bill was under $ 40, and for all the food we got, I felt like that was pretty good. It wasn’t the best food of course, or service, but still pretty good overall. I think if you’re craving wings, definitely try this place out. It may not be the BEST place, but it will curb your craving and you won’t be hurting with the bill.

This place has horrible service but really great food. Me and my fiancé arrive and get seated and our waitress comes by to the our drink orders. We ordered a Bloody Mary and a pop rocks Rita. The drinks were brought back pretty quickly but were made wrong. The Bloody Mary they advertise shows it with bacon and no bacon was in it, the drink I ordered is sipped to come with pop rocks (hence the name of the drink) and no pop rocks was in it. We tell our waitress and instead of taking the dr is back she brings the bacon on a side plate, with our order, way after we had received the drinks. The pop rocks bag was brought to the table and she poured such a minimal amount that they really shouldn’t be calling this a pop rocks drink if they are hardly providing you with any.
We get to ordering our food and tell her we have never been here before so if she could please go over the menu items with us. She went over everything which was about the only good thing she did. She did make a racial comment while going over the menu items but at this point, we just wanted to order our food and have her go away. Once our food came out we dug in! The food here is AMAZING which is why I even rated this place 2 stars. The wings are a decent size and the side portions are huge! Enough for two people to share. They don’t hold back on their sauce which made the wings stay juicy. After our food came out our waitress came by to check on us once and that was to see if we needed to go boxes. She never bothered to refill our drinks, ask if we needed another one, check how everything came out or anything!!!
Needless to say, this place has delicious food but the waitstaff and bartender need to do training again. One on customer service and the other on drink making!

I was so disappointed it was Friday night I was in the mood for wings and there was no one inside it was 12 o’clock and they were supposed to close at one I am so disappointed now I’m going to have no fun

Staff sucks. We have been several times. during lunch hours, right after work for happy hour and once on a Saturday about 8pm. All different times the staff sucks, they never know what’s on special. I even think they make up the special as soon as you ask if there is a special. Never ask you for anything else and waited 20 minutes just to get our final bill on that Saturday night. Instead of hiring a DJ to play karaōke HIRE knowledgable and decent staff.

We came here after being kicked out of Little Woodrow’s for having our minor child with us at 2 pm, more details on their review.
This place is child friendly with a child’s menu and the puppy bowl playing. No t Chucky Cheese just a nice family atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all.

Saw this place on Undercover Boss and being new too San Antonio, I needed a wing place. Great wings with good selections of sauces. The wings are big and everything is served on nice dinnerware. The atomic is pretty hot but if your like me and wanted something hotter they have nuclear which isn’t on the menu, you have to ask for it. Beware because it sneaks up on you. Not a fan of the mac and cheese and the cow slaw isn’t the greatest but if you want a nice place to watch the game with awesome wings try this place.

Delicious food and great service! The sweet thai chili wings were amazing as well as my buffallo chicken sandwich. The restaraunt was not packed at 2pm on a weekday so our service was very quick. The General Manager introduced us to the Store Manager who talked to us about the menu and the quality of the food versus buffalo wild wings and made suggestions on thier sauces. (Great recommendations!) We were very impressed and will be back.

I’m actually glad I came to this place and I’ll tell you why.
My wife and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and although the place was practically empty, we waited several minutes at the front hostess station without any form of acknowledgement at all, not even a «hello.» We decided to just say screw it and walk to the Mexican restaurant next door in what was the best decision ever. The place next door, Papa Nacho’s is a gold mine in San Antonio and is now my favorite restaurant. We would have likely never even tried that place if it wasn’t for the crappy experience we got at this Wings & Rings location. So Wings & Rings, I thank you for introducing us to our new favorite restaurant.

Great place. Good food. Went on a Saturday to whatch the UFC fight. All the wings where good, pretzel bjtes but you have to try the garlic cheese frys. Grrrrreeeaat. I wont mention the waitress cuz she was nice but new and i think we got more wings than we ordered so i cant complain to much.

I used go here quite a bit for about a year or so and I loved it. Easy food, always HAD good specials, always HAD a $ 2 dollar of some kind, buzztime trivia and lots of sports. Been there a couple times in the last few months specials are terrible, service worse then usual, food ok and $ 2 beer special GONE. Sad to say with football season around the corner my family and friends won’t be making this place our spot.

Awesome! Come hungry because the portions are huge. Serving wings in a bowl is a bit awkward, but it’s like step up from a Buffalo Wild Wings. Atmosphere is bright and friendly. Ask for Cori. He’s a skater that rules!

Great place for drinks and watch a game. But if your looking for food other than wings they don’t have any great dishes. The service is kind of slow but that’s normal for a bar like them.
It’s easy to get to from the highway and there is always parking available.

This place has fabulous and fresh wings. Before we found this place, my BF and I would always eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, but the wings here are significantly more fresh and a better value, not to mention the awesome flavors and really fresh blue cheese. The music/​sports games are a touch to loud for us, but we just try to deal.
The one disappointing experience my family and I had going there was one night 30 minutes before closing. We wanted a quick bite to eat and we were not going to exceed the 30 minutes we had to do so before closing (trust me as a former waitress I know better than that). So we walked in and approached the hostess stand, upon waiting for 5 or so minutes, and being completely ignored by the staff whom were looking right at us, we decided to walk out and find somewhere else to eat.
It’s disappointing when paying customers get treated this way. It’s not like we were walking in 10 minutes before closing, we were going to be respectful and leave in a timely manner, but we weren’t even given the chance to do so.

Really enjoyed my first time here. The service was great. We had the best waiter, his name is Roberto… He ROCKED.
The wings were so good. We had sweet Thai chili, teriyaki, and peach habanero. Thigh sticking good.
