Delicious Tamales To Go

Horrible customer service. I know it’s the Holidays, but that is no excuse to make everyone else’s life harder. Tried to order online and found a notice to order at the individual store due to high Holiday traffic… okay, I can do that. I was on hold for a little over half an hour («Please stay on the line valued customer, you are first in the cue!») when I was hung up on the first time. It happens. Called back, hung up on immediately. Switched from local line to out of State 1 – 800 (maybe the we’re to swamped to take an out of state call on that line). Picked up line and set the phone on counter, waited 3 minutes and then hung up. Lovely. Treat people who are willing to wait the extra time like crap when you are busy and you’ll get a bad rep. :(

Their tamales are seriously the size of my index finger. They aren’t small compared to California, they are TINY compared to California. Not only that, but their pork (what little they did put) was all mushy and gross. The were definitely the worst tamales I’ve ever had.
I mean the place was clean and the people were nice, but I will not be going back.

Very helpful and respectful staff. Lots of choices. Tamales are small (compared to California) but very tasty. They have frozen ones too in case you want to ship/​take on an airplane like I did. Will return!

These are yummy tamales! I’m not a tamale connoisseur, but if I wanna pound down a half dozen, you know they are good!

Sensational tamales! Good service but you have to double check your order before you leave the store. Only quibble I have was there were never any vegetarian or sweet tamales ready and we visited three different times. The bean tamales were great. We like how compact they are. Can eat with your hands. Best cheap snack for the money.
