It’s an okay lunch. This one here on Wurzback has a good breakfast. I’ve had their Huevos Rancheros, they are excellent. Today we came for lunch we had the Caldo de Rez and the flauta ala cart. Both dishes lacked seasoning. I felt like I was eating paper when I took a bite of the flauta! The Guacamole was very creamy. Clearly not all guacamole! The Caldo also lacked seasoning. Too bad because it has been great before. Did they change cooks? The salsa and chips were pretty good. Sorry Tink, I’m disappointed!

Pretty good place, that has some cheap tacos. Every time I visit San Antonio, my sister always wants to eat here, and I can’t complain since it’s pretty decent. All in all, it’s cheap, good, and service is nice so check it out.

They have a very friendly staff. The food is exceptional, delicious, and reasonably priced. They are very Police, Fire, and Military friendly. They keep a very clean establishment. It’s my go to place for local mexican food.

Bought carne guisadas to go with cheese. They tasted ok, but they were not warm. Maybe they’re having an off night.

I LOVE Tink-a-Tako…its pretty good and, probably the most authentic Mexican food, I’ve eaten in a while, though they still cater to my tastes which have been spoiled by Tex-Mex restaurants claiming to be Mexican(i.e. they serve me sour cream when I ask for it). The breakfast tacos here are to die for! My favorite is the country sausage and egg taco and they’re super cheap!

The breakfast tacos were amazing! Tortillas were nice and fluffy, the chorizo and egg was perfect and the carne guisada was very tender. The service was kind of confusing and that’s why it’s not four stars. The servers were very nice though.

wife ordered puffy tacos with ground beef. i ordered manudo. hers was good and more than she could eat so we took the remaining to go and i got to eat it later. my manudo was fantastic. the tripe was a bit mushy, i am more used to it being more firm and maybe less cooked but the favor was number 9 on the flavor scale. i also like a lot more pasole then they provided but again, the flavor was to die for. i ordered extra flour torts which are homemade and also bust with flavor. i order the big bowl which had a 7 dollar price tag as i recall. the bowl was so big i could only eat half and i got to take the rest home. my mouth and taste buds got to party twice that day as it was as good or better the second time later that evening. i also got to eat my wifes left overs and i enjoyed that. tinkataco always served chips and red and green salsa. the chips are fresh made and the sauce is always the very best. so if you dont give this place a try, you are just plain wrong and you are denying your mind and body a real treat.

We stayed at a hotel nearby and I asked a couple of staff members where to get a good breakfast taco nearby. One of the ladies pointed me to this spot and I am thrilled that she did. I brought my wife and girls here and all but one of my girls had tacos. My oldest daughter opted for the pancake breakfast with bacon. She really seemed to like it, and ate it all. As for the tacos, these were amazing. I had bean and egg with bacon and cheese. My wife had potato and egg with bacon and cheese. The tortillas were fresh and delicious. They held up to the taco ingredients, including a generous portion of hot sauce. Speaking of hot sauce… They brought 2 sauces, a red and green. I had planned to try each on a taco, but I ended up loving the green so much that I never even tried the red. It was tangy and spicy, without be overbearingly hot. Don’t get me wrong, it had heat, but I could still taste the other ingredients. I cooled down the heat with a nice big horchata. A perfect combination for my money! I will definitely come back when I get to San Antonio again.
