I love this place. Been here quite a few times and never disappointed me. Food is authentic and plates are served very nicely. Drinks are delicious. Don’t skip on dessert, they also have a great selection. Stylish legit Mexican seafood restaurant.

I’ve eaten here three times, and every time the food was very good. What i don’t like is the service. The waitstaff and management give great service to the hispanic patrons, and subpar service to all other cultures. I’ve sat at the bar and the dining tables and its the same. This place should be avoided.

The food is delicious. This is one of my favorite places to eat and enjoy a good time with my friends. On the weekends they have music and its very entertaining. I definitely recommend this place.

Very tasty seafood at reasonable prices, best kept secret is their lunch $ 7 whole fish and the very unique guacamole dish is to die for. Servers are always professional although management isn’t very friendly, maybe just with his buddies from Monterrey. Well worth looking for in their not too visible location in this shopping center.

Decided to take a chance on this place despite the reviews. My experience was similar to what others reported. Service was poor and the entirety of the wait staff just kind of congregated by the drink station for chats most of the time. Our waitress was nice and changed our drinks often, but she didn’t know what a vodka martini with olives was. At first she wrote me down for a cucumber martini and when I corrected her she looked like she didn’t understand what I was ordering. She even came back to double check. I received a martini with a twist. Close but no cigar. As for food it was tasty but otherwise lack luster. The shucked oysters were small. I had the whole octopus which was good but the whole plate was luke warm. My husband had fish tacos which were«nothing to write home about». All in all; meh. Won’t return.

I was not very impressed, but this place has only been open a week. I will come back in a month or so n see if they’ve worked out the kinks. I did not care for the aqua-colored small tortillas they serve w their sauces. These tortillas r cold and hard and very granular. The sauces come in thimble-size cups. Although small in serving size, they r big in flavor. The shrimp cocktail was tasty but had entirely too much cocktail sauce. Not sure if they’re using it as filler. I also had the chicken nachos which were very good. The great things r they have a Happy Hour in which they have several food selections for $ 5.99, the frozen margs r $ 2.99 n the deck has live music, which was jazzy n great to listen to! The service was also very good. Our waiter was Christian.

I think even 1 star is generous when writing about this restaurant. This was hands down the WORSTSERVICEEVER. First of all, the waiter was the slowest server I have ever experienced. He messed up on our food order as well as our drink order. There was a point when he didn’t attend to us for 45 minutes. No drink refills, nothing. My friend and I decided to leave and when he brought us the check, of course it was wrong. He had added at least 4 drinks we had not had. When I spoke to the manager, although he was nice, he was not helpful. And the manager then offered to give us drink tickets for our next time there, then disappeared. The food was mediocre at best and nothing I would return to this establishment for. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

We came here because La Tequilera de Patron is closed which is a restaurant owned and managed by Costa. They have the same great homemade corn tortillas and Tacos De Patron, which is thinly sliced rib-eye steak wrapped in a corn tortilla. The plate comes with refried beans and white rice, very tasty, even though I prefer black beans. They serve blue tostadas instead of chips with a roasted chipotle style salsa and mild avocado salsa. They also have a spicy orange habanero creamy salsa, it has a nice little kick. Try the Guacamole dish, it’s Yummy! We don’t eat seafood however we miss Teq so much this is the next best thing. Drinks look good too :-)

My roommate and I decided to try this place yesterday because the have happy hour all day on Mondays. And what college student is going to turn down cheap margaritas? I ordered two mango margaritas and my roommate got a chamoy and cucumber margaritas. While they were tasty, I didn’t think they were mixed too well. All my mango syrup/purée seemed to be at the bottom, so it was like I had a half lime half mango margarita. The cucumber margarita was surprisingly refreshing but extremely thick and hard to suck out of the straw. I won’t comment on the chamoy margarita as I am not a fan at all of chamoy in general. I order the queso flameado and fish tacos(al pastor style). The tacos could’ve definitely used more seasoning but I did like pineapple they mixed into it. In the past when I’ve ordered queso flameado it usually comes on fire or with a flame; after all flameado does mean flamed. Despite that, I did really enjoy it, especially the garlic seasoned mushrooms. I will be returning soon for some cheap margaritas and to try a different plate.

So I made a trip out with some friends to visit this place. Not bad at all. Service was like all the rest of the reviews kinda scetchy, waiter was here and there. The food was pretty dang good. I ordered Pacifica Tacos. Shrimp with beans and avacado. Very good combo, never had that before and I’m from the coast.

I was really debating on the star level and decided to settle on a four. I’ve never ever thought I’d say this but this was probably the one and true time I wish I could do a half star within my rating. The food and happy hour here is worth the spotty service. I usually don’t agree with that statement but man it’s like Russian roulette of service here. A big reason why I’m not too annoyed about this is because I’m used to that when I’ve gone to places in Mexico visiting with my family and it’s just common in not so touristy spots. Sometimes you need a smoke signal to grab their attention but once you address what you need they get it to you pretty quickly. One thing about this place that I enjoy is their happy hour. Featuring five dollar bites and $ 12 beer buckets you can definitely get a full stomach and buzz at a decent price. Get the michelada mix I swear to the drinking lords it’s damn tasty! Don’t expect it to be that red stuff though they make it the authentic way. Don’t forget to ask them to remove the chili rim if you can’t or don’t want it. Their main menu is really good like ridiculously tasty good. From their tacos to the shrimp cocktail, it’s some authentic Mexican food amongst Tex mex places. Let me tell you, I dig a place that plays some Aventura or Juanes while I’m munching and drinking away. They have plenty of seating and an outdoor patio for your needs. So whether you want ac or want to bask in the sun, each setting is nice. Throughout the week they have different specials including all day happy hour on Mondays! Keep in mind they don’t serve chips and salsa but rather tostones and salsa.

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. We ordered the shrimp ceviche and a couple of their signature tostadas which were super fresh, tasty and authentic. I wanted mahi mahi ceviche but the only fish they use for their ceviche is tilapia and that’s the only thing that kept me from giving a 5th star. Our server Ryan was very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the nice experience, we will definitely return.

It’s all good. Wish I had visited earlier. It does lean toward seafood, bit really highlights what real Mexican cooking can do with seafood. This is not Texmex. If you want that, go somewhere else. We actually came here so we could see the Sonterra fireworks and were able to score a window seat. Our waitress was gracious and helpful with ordering for the kids. The two salsas are very different but equally tasty. The chips are actually tostadas you break apart and dip. I would suggest a la carte ordering to try as much diversity as possible. I had all the seafood enchiladas and they were all tasty. My favorite was the shrimp enchilada with the green sauce.

This place is NOT TexMex, and that is okay. When you are seated, you get tostadas and two types of salsa. The tostadas are whole, which is different and they are accompanied by 2 sauces. One is a smoky salsa and the other is avocado based and creamy. I loved them both. I really like that the menu items are ala carte. I got one tostada with fish ceviche and a green shrimp enchilada. I loved them both. If you order a side of beans, plan on sharing as it is a generous serving! Service was great too. I wasn’t fond of the flan. I like the thin burnt liquid that normally comes with flan, but this had more of a Nutella topping. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoy this place! Go there a couple Tuesdays a month for hh! Jalapeño ceviche is very good. Usually get the nachos which are also very tasty… generous on the cheese and comes with pico, guac and sour cream. Rocks House margaritas are basically lime juice triple sec and tequila-perfect! The frozen ones are not too sweet either. Nice environment-inside and outside bar areas. Very friendly staff, clean restaurant.

Many places claim that they have ceviche… but it ends up tasting like fish sticks soaked in in tomato juice. There are so many things that can go wrong with a ceviche recipe, which is why it is so hard to find a restaurant that can do ceviche well. This place can not only do ceviche well, but has several different kinds. The fish and vegetables were fresh and the flavor was bold and complex, without being«fishy». The fish tacos al pastor were unique and very flavorful. My daughter had ordered a grilled beef taco and asked for a side of vegetables and what she got was an expertly cooked plate of tacos and vegetables which smelled amazing. Even the margarita and mojito that my wife and I had complemented the meal perfectly with the crisp and refreshing flavors. Definitely not shy with the alcohol… Daniela was a great waitress, as she was always making excellent recommendations and anticipating our requests before we knew we wanted something. My only request would be that guests could order a sampler of the ceviches, tacos, and appetizers to get a taste of everything thing on the menu. We shall definitely be back…

What a great place! We went on a Saturday evening and sat in the outdoor covered patio where the bar is. They had heaters and it was enclosed, so a nice place to sit even in the winter. We were greeted by our waiter, «Santi», who offered to bring us samples when we had questions about certain menu items! Wow – who brings food samples! That was great. The two types of salsa were great, and there were a lot of menu choices. Although we were not there during their weekday happy hour, I was delighted to see a number of appetizers for $ 5 on the happy hour menu, and wines and margaritas at only $ 2.99. We got the cerviche – didn’t look like a lot of food, but it was filling and delicious. The service was friendly but VERY unhurried. This is obviously a place to visit on a relaxing evening, because we were there for almost two hours, and no one around us was leaving in less than two hours. I agree with another reviewer in that I felt like I was in Cancun or Cozumel on that outdoor patio. The band was setting up when we were leaving, so I’m assuming they start around 8:30 or 9:00.
