My burger was pretty good, even ordered with no bun. They forgot the red rocket sauce (i think that’s what it was called). But the waitress never came back so, I couldnt ask for some. My husband liked his portabello chicken sandwich, but he got sick from it. :/​He said he’d go there again anyways and try something else. My toddler liked the chicken strips and apple slices. Her kids meal was $ 4.99 for a lot of food, plus milk. Good prices. I liked the atmosphere. Great music!

Been wanting to try Johnny Rockets and I finally did. Tried Route 66: Swiss Cheese, Grilled Mushrooms with Onions and Mayo. Beef is well-​cooked, mushroom has a smoky roasted flavor. Fries is good. Must try: The chocolate shakes is good!

I got a classic burger & fries. The burger was just ok. The fries were great! The sauces were great (special sauce, fry sauce, ranch) And the atmosphere was fun-​felt like a vintage diner.

Good food, good shakes, great servers. Definitely would eat here again.
Very busy on a Saturday, yet the servers were super friendly and very responsive. Any special requests were quickly handled with a smile. Burgers and shakes were perfect!

I have been to several Johnny Rockets and have always had a great experience… until today. 3 of the 4 servers that were there (including my server) were on there phones sitting at the counter most of my visit. After receiving my order I took a bite out if my chicken club sandwich. The bread was soggy, the chicken was cold and undercooked. I would have let my server know but she didn’t come back around to check on us. By the time she came back to the table to drop off the bill, the rest of my group was done eating. I will definitely never return to the Johnny Rockets in Salt Lake City.

I have eaten at Johnny Rockets countless times and have always had acceptable service. I’m in Utah for work and decided to visit the City Creek Johnny Rockets at 50 S Main St Salt Lake City, Utah. My experience at this location was by far the WORST service I have ever experienced from ANY establishment. I actually was NOT served! Me and a couple of my friends came into the establishment and were seated in the back of the restaurant. After sitting for a short period of time and not placing any orders we decided to go sit at the counter directly in front in hopes of faster service. After waiting for some time the young woman server came and took our order. We ordered three hamburgers along with French fries and onion rings. We sat and waited and waited and then only fries came out. There were three orders placed and only 1 order of fries came out to my friend who is Asian. As the other two of us both African American patiently waited for our order. We watched patiently as the cooks put all the food up, started storing everything and cleaning up as if we were not there. We politely asked where our order was and if it was being made as we had been sitting and waiting for well over 40 minutes plus. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant, they were not busy. We started to question them as to where our food was and everyone just looked at us as if they didn’t know what we were talking about. They were snickering, and making comments to each other back and forth. We asked for the manager everyone acted like they didn’t speak English and they had no clue why we were there or what was going on. After about 30 minutes of back and forth they got upset and threw some burgers on the grill and proceeded to make the order. As they spoke in Spanish thinking we could not understand them. Although I am not Spanish I do understand Spanish and could translate what they were saying. The cook said «I know they don’t think we are going to serve them». Clearly because we were African American they chose to NOT serve us. The waitress claimed she forgot to put the order in. Although we were sitting right up front, maybe we got lost among the four people sitting in the whole place right? I have never in my life felt the way ALL the employees in this establishment made me feel. I was hurt, upset and surprised at the level of disrespect and prejudice that I experienced. They made our orders. And after they came out, we left. I honestly lost my appetite. And furthermore had no clue if they did anything foul to my order. I will NEVER eat at Johnny Rockets again and am surprised you have people like that working in your establishment. May 21, 2015 We entered Johnny Rockets around 8, 8:30 and left around 9:30.

I will never eat here again. I love Johnny Rockets in California but this location was awful.
Our waiter, Jaycee, was slow and inattentive. There was a good amount of customers but the proportion to staff didn’t seem to be off. She was just very inefficient with completing tasks.
What really did it for me, though, was the visibly unwashed and old lettuce sitting on my burger. There was literally dirt all over the lettuce. When I told our waiter, she just said «Oh, yeah» and asked if I wanted another burger without lettuce. It was as if this was no surprise to her! As a result, I decided to forego the burger and just have some fries which were okay. Never again.

The burger was good but also very greasy. Fries were mediocre and so was the shake. I thought they were known for shakes? Way Overpriced and sadly will never go back. Glad we got it to go.

Good burger and they have a good selection of options. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry as the service is quite slow. And this was a Thursday night with only three other tables full. Can’t understand why it’s so slow

We tried the place again and this time we had excellent service by Maria. The food was as good as the last time — but the service was 100% better.

This place is very clean and very friendly. I like the spirit they they send which is happy and calm. Over all I would say the food is simply amazing. I would recommend anyone to come and enjoy a meal here.

It’s exactly what it should be. It’s a chain but one that has feeling and excitement. Go for the shakes and service. It’s an experience, not a dining review. Cynthia was awesome.

Ate dinner here. It’s was pretty busy. Place was clean, server was great. Food was good. Milk shake was the best part of the meal. Good prices. Location is great, City Creek right in downtown SLC

I thought the décor was charming and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was… okay. Nothing extraordinary about it. I’ve had better, I’ve had worse. It is very overpriced, however. $ 40 for my son and I to get a mediocre burger, fries, and shake? No. Just no.

This place refuse a close friend of mine service. Her family is Vegan and in the past her family was able to get service and meals to Accommodate their life style. Yesterday her family was told no by the manager. Doesn’t seem right.

Food was decent for a burger joint, good fries and sauce. Other than that it was not good at all. Once we ordered it took them 45 minutes to get us our food.

The employees really seem to enjoy what they do here. There was a birthday and they all sang and danced and had a great time!

We had a great waitress but other than that all I have to say is meh. I thought the fries were terrible even the fry sauce couldn’t save them. I could have paid less for better food elsewhere.

Fast quick service good food

Subpar food. I got a chicken melt and the chicken wasn’t fully cooked. I wanted to try a shake, but after the chicken experience I just wanted out.
