First off. The food was great. No complaints at all about that. Limeaid was particularly good. We got Strawberry coconut and it was beautiful. The service was good. No problems getting additional servings of meat. All the meat I tried was extremely good. Wasn’t too happy with our server. She was practically yelling when talking to us and there was absolutely no reason she needed too. She was more interested in getting her pitches in(dessert, etc) than in our experience. Really was not happy with her when she was loudly going through her explanation about us needing to fill out comment cards. Just let me enjoy my meal and then you can, in a professional, non pushy manner ask for feedback. But to loudly keep going on and on and on was just downright annoying.

This place was incredible. Salt Lake City restaurant seated our party of 5 right away(with reservations of course) and the service for the rest of the night was the best. Our waiter, Kellan?, took really good care of us. Meat service kept flowing. Lobster bisque was my favorite. All the buffet options were tasty. I would recommend their end of meal coffee carajillo. It’s an espresso with whisky and a sweet foam on top. This is a 5 star night.

I’ve been here 2 times. Excellent food! Great quality meat. The salad bar has a good selection. I wish they have hot roasted pineapples. The filet mignon, flank steak and garlic sirloin are the best! Great service. Complaints: If you order sodas, it comes in a small aluminum bottle with no refills. Why do they do this? Please upgrade to a fountain so that people who drink soda can get refills. You aren’t gerting any fancier with that type of soda. The first time we dined here, our chicken was undercooked. That disgusted me. Good thing I cut into it before I bit it. The second time, I was told several times that the meat was med rare/med. It was more well done. This is the best place for Brazilian Churrasco.

As far as Brazilian churrascarios go this is definitely my favorite one here in the valley! The meats are very good quality, but their salad bar is my favorite! So many rich and delicious flavors. Their fried bananas and potatoes are also equally delicious. It is a guilty pleasure for my fiancé and I to visit this place and we are never disappointed. The service is excellent and the staff is knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend making reservations at this place on a weekend because it gets fairly crowded, as it is inside City Creek mall, but if you have to wait it is worth it! Can’t wait to return soon for a delicious and very ambient dinner.

This is the gold standard of Texas de Brazil. They represent the brand well and it all begins with their commitment to service. Our table attendant was Michelle, she was amazing. She had a little help from another young woman but I did not get her name. Both her and Michelle were friendly, professional, attentive and quick. The gaucho’s were friendly and when we requested filet mignon, guess what, we got it. Some lesser Brazilian steak houses ask you what you like and then, they do not bring it. Not here, if you request a specific meat they do their best to get it to you as soon as possible. They also have a great wine selection and price variety so there is something for every taste and budget. Their salad bar is perfection. There is nothing that you could want that they do not have. It is truly my favorite part about coming here. Their soups, potatoes, rolls, grilled banana’s are flavorful and tasty. Their location is convenient to many hotels, convention center and shopping. If you like to people watch you can request to be seated by the windows that look into the shopping area. I promise you will not get bored. Their floral arrangements are stunning and beautifully appointed. This is a great dining option for vegetarians as well as meat lover, and well worth the price.

The best food of its kind in Salt Lake City. The high quality of meats is absolutely fantastic. I dream about the lamb and the filet. I love the lobster bisque and the artisan meats and cheeses. The service is wonderful and the Manager Hugo, always checks to see how my experience was. I cannot recommend this place enough. I spent years working as a chef and consider my palette to be quite refined. If you are on the fence about trying Texas de Brazil, just go

Server was awesome and so was the salad bar. Meat was nothing special and for the life of them after asking for medium well meat about 90% of the time it came medium rare. Our server just continued to apologize to everyone that the meat came in the wrong temp. Normally I don’t complain but this place is supposed to be high end and you sure do pay for it at about $ 45 per head.

I didn’t think there were many options of side foods like they have at Tucanos or Braza Grill. I think they were over priced. I don’t think I’ll come back here again. I Didn’t really like their food or meats as much.

Ate here a couple nights ago and was blown away. Wow. If you’re too lazy to read the rest of this post, just take my advice and come here!!! We walked in just before 6 and a couple minutes later the restaurant told people they were no longer taking walk-ins. We waited only for a couple minutes and I instantly noticed the lovely décor. We were served cheesy rolls and the server recommended a pitcher of some sort of non-alcoholic punch for the table to share which I recommend getting — it was fizzy and had chunks of lime and mint leaves in it(plus there are several flavors to choose from). Even if you’re a vegetarian, I’d still recommend coming here because the salad bar alone is worth the visit. In addition to regular salad leaves there was a ton of other options like shrimp, sushi, pineapple, artichoke, smoked salmon, salami, cheeses… along with soup(lobster bisque) and hot options like au gratin potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, jasmine rice, and beans. I kept going back for the mushrooms and everyone told me I was wasting stomach room but they were so flavorful I couldn’t stop! Ok, now for the meat. LITERALLYTHEBESTMEAT I HAVEEVERTASTED. And this is coming from a person who hates hamburgers and steak. Wow. Quality meat, and every item was roasted so that the meat melted in your mouth when you chewed. The lamb chops were amazing. Even the chicken legs were roasted so that the meat easily fell off the bone when I cut into it. Plus everything had so much flavor — the server said they seasoned everything with lime salt or something and it definitely works. The waitress mentioned that most cuts were served medium rare but we could request it more/less cooked and they’d be happy to oblige. In the middle of the meal we were served a plate of fried bananas(basically dessert in the middle of the meal) and mashed potatoes. I didn’t have room for dessert at the end but there were many cake options on a display platter. Service wasn’t exceptional and I wished we were offered clean plates more often but I can let that go. It came out to be around $ 50 per person which is expensive but if you think about it the food was so great(there’s no way you could come close if you tried to make any of the items yourself) that I say just go right now don’t even wait for a special occasion because what if you died before that occasion and missed out on this insanely good food!!!

Very nicely decorated — matching the menu expense, with that being said I was underwhelmed with the salad bar. I mean only two dressing options? Ice cold asparagus — and not a fan of goat cheese. Anyways once we got past the initial redundant offerings of chicken we got to the meats which were good but all served well-done. Yikes. Had to get the waiter to stop by to let him know we are medium-rare type people. After that we got some really good cuts and were happy. All and all the service here is very good but I just don’t know if its worth $ 41 and they don’t even serve the grilled pineapple like the other Salt Lake competitor’s– for now I can’t really get to 4 stars when the whole experience and price are considered.

I’m obligated by my stomach to write up a review for Texas de Brazil. Being the foodie that I am, I came here with good company on a whim. LITERALLY A WHIM. No lady on the phone, I am not celebrating a special event, nor enjoying a special evening. A whim. For fat people. Aka me. Enough shenanigans. Let me explain why I’m giving this place 5 beautiful stars. 1 — Décor. Step in through the Main Street entrance and witness a whole other universe, adorned by an atmosphere seen more in Vegas than in the humble(see also beautiful) Salt Lake. NOICE. 2 — Service. You ever play a sport in school, and your coach is yelling at you to get ‘fired up’ and ‘on your A game’? These young men and women pretty much exemplified that all night. Let me smile at you. BOOM! Here let me be snazzy as a motha. BOOM! Try our amazing wine that isn’t sold anywhere else and costs a pretty penny. BOOM(and fine, I will try)! ’nuff said. 3 — Quality. OF. THE. FOOD. You know how Brazilian BBQ works, right? They walk around with skewers of meat(sorry vegetarians) and serve you choice cuts. I don’t know what they seasoned it with. I don’t know how they cooked it. I don’t know if there was some sort of drugs they massaged into the meat which, as I’m now writing this, makes me want to go back, but I do know it was AMAZING… oh, and I was craving Brazilian BBQ as well… yeah… this might be biased now… 4 — Price. Now, this isn’t your average Brazilian priced establishment. Did you read the review above? If yes, you can ballpark the price of a dinner here. No? Ok, I’ll tell you. $ 43 per head for dinner. Pricey? Sure. Worth it? If it wasn’t, do you think I’d give this place 5 stars? James T. — OUT! –drops mic–

I was really excited to try this place because I’ve heard great things about this place. We called to see if reservations were necessary, and the hostess advised that it was. They didn’t have anything available until 8:45pm. We get there a little earlier than my reservation and we were seated immediately… with a few empty tables everywhere, it made me wonder if reservations were truly necessary. We got there and one if our waiters came fairly quickly. Gave great recommendations on how everything works, etc. I did feel like he talked just a little too much; nice kid, spunky, but it almost felt like he was eating with us; he kept coming back like every 5 – 10 minutes(not to mention all the other servers serving meat). And it’s evident they make their money on drink sales. Down to the dessert offering there were offers for 4 different types if liquour to go with the desserts. The food: Good. But… I went there to EAT. I found it strange that both hubby and I got full fairly quickly; and almost got the bloated feeling afterwards. Similar to like… eating chinese food. Not sure if they add msg or something, but I didn’t feel that way at other brazillian places I’ve been to. All in all it was okay. I had signed up for a $ 25 off coupon the same day, but it didn’t make my inbox until 2:00am. My suggestion: If you are planning on going, sign up for the voucher first; it will help justify the cost and experience.

Holy crap, what can I say? This place is simply put the best brazillian grill style restaurant in Utah, hands down no questions asked. Not once have I eaten here and left disappointed. The meat is cooked to perfection, and for those picky eaters out there they will also customize how well the meat is cooked. They usually have quite a wide variety of meats in circulation and it is all seasoned excellently. My favorites are top sirloin, garlic picanha, and oddly chicken hearts(try them, they’re really good) The first thing that impressed me was the quality of the salad bar offerings, they always stock new and interesting things and most of it is incredibly high quality. Our waiters are always very attentive and never once have we been left waiting longer than we liked. They have one of my personal favorite sodas, Guarana, and if you haven’t tried it I suggest you do. All in all this place is great, I would highly suggest it to anyone who wants a great buffet style meal with awesome flavorful meats.

Always love Texas from Vegas to SLC consistency in food quality is amazing. Texas is my top choice between: Fago De Chao, Rodizio, Tocanos, and Braza. I think the best price goes to Rodizio– for dinner. I find Texas to have better meat– but this is because I like my meat rare– like red rare, and salty. I like the salad bar at both Rodizio and Texas. Texas has this delicious thinly sliced pineapple and amazing potato salad, Rodizio salad bar has more selection. Meat service is quick. The gauchos definitely see when the card has been flipped over and arrive promptly at the table. My favorite cut the House Special Picanha. If your looking for Brazilian head to City Creek and try Texas de Brazil, if the meat is too rare they can always cook it to your preferred taste– if the meat is too salty, then I would recommend either Rodizio or Tocanos.

Came here with my friends for the dine o round experience. It was a very decent experience and the waiter we had was so helpful and funny. When walking into this place you notice the nice environment. The food here is all you can eat meat. The salad buffet was really good. There are all kind of cheese/veggie/hot foods and soups to try. It is also very delicious and worth taking as a quick appetizer. The meat here is very good, but there is a problem is that they don’t really bring all the different kind of meats they have. We wouldn’t have known that they have garlic beef/chicken or even pork ribs if we didn’t even ask. All in all I would come back here but only with probably a groupon or another dine o round experience. I felt like I have gotten better meat circulations at other Brazilian places.

The meats here are of a fabulous quality… superior to the other Brazilian restaurants in the area. Sure, the food is expensive compared to other Brazilian restaurants, but you are paying for food that is a cut above in quality and flavor. Exceptional high quality cheeses in the salad bar and the smoked salmon is fabulous! Atmosphere is also fine dining and not like a circus. Our waiter, Jake was very attentive and friendly! Just two negative comments: 1.) Their bean dish in the buffet is called«feijoada», but is far from a proper feijoada. Perhaps it should be more properly labelled«Feijão.» 2.) Desserts were nothing special and certainly not Brazilian.

For someone that has visited Fogo de Chao and can make Brazilian Cheese Rolls at home for a weeknight dinner, I’ve had my fair share of Brazilian food. I have to say that this place has far exceeded the quality of Fogo. I was beyond impressed by their salad bar options. YOUMUSTTRYTHELOBSTERBISQUE. DONOTPASSITUP! Adding to that they have numerous salad and cheese options as well as shrimp and sushi. They bring to your table bread, garlic mash and the bananas. everything was exceptionally delicious. I also had a mango mimosa which was yummy. The scary part was the bill. I’ve never spent that much dining out alone but it was worth every penny being on business travel and all.
