Round Table Pizza

This review isn’t about the food; it’s about the customer service. I want to give a shout out to two of the employees: Devin and Aliana (sorry if I misspelled) They went above and beyond, one on Saturday and the other on Sunday, to try to help me when I wanted to buy gift card while the system was down. Sincerely helpful and authentic. Thank you!

The pizza on TV looked good so we went to this round table and ordered one, did not even come close to the one on TV. About ½ the meat

My pizza was wrong. Asked for tomatoes and they put them on and I called them out about it since I had to open the pizza to look (usually they open it to make sure it’s right). Salad bar was pretty empty and when asking for something it’s 7pm and they say they don’t have any left. It’s called for get it. Never again! Back to natomas blvd I go

Great experience at the lunch buffet today. I arrived right at 11 and the pizzas were coming out piping hot. The salad was very fresh and the service was friendly. Exactly what a lunch buffet should be.

Round Table Pizza always makes pretty good quality pies. It may be a tad on the expensive side compared to its competition but you can see that it is not cardboard pizza. I like the meat lovers pizza which is well prepared. The restaurant itself is clean and well-​maintained.

I feel sorry for the owners, because the management here sucks! I love round table pizza so naturally as we were traveling I Unilocaled places and immediately picked round table pizza without reading the reviews. I tried to checkin and use the $ 3 off coupon and the manager said NO we don’t accept that?! What the heck?!! Then why are you falsely advertising? The manager is pretty rude. The place is a mess. As for the pizza, it was pretty good but the veggies were a little dry and the toppings were not spread out and just tossed in the middle. I would rate the pizza a 3 but the overall experience is a 0.

I came here for lunch, there was four people in my group we all got the buffet they put out one pizza we waited over 30 min for them to put out more pizza and when they did the pizzas were burnt we will not be back ever

I ordered my usual king arthur with artichokes for pickup and my Unilocal coupon was rejected when I arrived. The manager was unable to honor the advertisement due to corporate policy. I think we need a mom and pop joint that is empowered to due the right thing. Just sayin.

Went to the Tuesday night all-​you can-​eat buffet. Very disappointed. The salad bar was fairly well stocked and clean — which was great because there was NO Pizza! I wish I could post a picture — there were 25 – 30 people waiting to pounce on a pizza and nothing. I finally called the restaurant and asked why there wasn’t any pizza — they said they were working on one… I suggested they bring out a bunch… can’t believe the staff wasn’t paying any attention. So disappointed!

Bomb pizza, even though they’re a huge franchise the quality of their pizza is still great!

Pepperoni Pizza was EXTREMELY dry! Seem to be going cheap on sauce! Disappointing because we typically love Round Table Pizza…

Never ever, ever, evereverever… have this joint deliver your pizza! The worst, rude and unprofessional management and pizza delivery people around. Late DON’T Care. Cold DON’T Care, Wrong items, NOT my fault DON’T Care… Oh, and if you Think Corporate Cares… DON’T Care. Over the past three months I tried 2 times via email, 3 phone calls and Online Complaint in attempt to get a caring response… Corporate DON’T Care! No return calls, emails, letter… NADA!
So, even though I actually do like their pizza I DON’T CARE! I’M NEVER EVEReverever spending another $ 30-​$ 60 for their pizza. Wake up & Ba-​BYE Round Table!

So disappointed in this roundtable especially since it’s the closest one to my house. It was great when they first opened, but they fell off. The problem with hiring young workers (teenagers) is they get lazy and lack customer service. Everytime I go for their buffet, they always mix cheese pizza with pepperoni. They do not consider vegetarians or non pork eaters. I had asked the cashier if they could make a chicken gourmet for the buffet and she’s tells me in a snobby tone, I cant gurantee it will be out there. There was not one non pork or cheese pizza put out. Stop doing half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. They still touch eachother. Consider non meat and non pork eaters!

Great pizza… No doubt about it… Fresh produce, good dough, nice flavorful sauce, food cheese… And a lot of variety!
I have tried papa johns, little Cesar’s, dominions, mountain mikes, and steves pizza… And they are all good… I would say mountain mikes comes closest to round table.
Round table has a good atmosphere for couples, families, and parties. They have a separate room just for parties. They have many televisions to watch the big games…
Service is good, nice and friendly and approachable. The cashier was nice and she told me about the $ 5 off coupon if you text a number and you get $ 5 dollars of your pizza! (Has to be large or XL).
They also have wings and pasta which I have yet to try…
We love to order the combination pizza because we love all the fresh produce! Today, we ordered the Italian artisan… Has tomatoes, pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella cheese, and green onions on thin crust! We love the thin crust…
I only mark a star off because it is pricier than other pizza places and they do have coupons, but it still can be a little too pricey!

3 years later… they got worse.
The buffet is terrible. Why would you make a half pepperoni half cheese pizza. The freaking pork mixes with the other side of the non meat pizza! This is bad for vegetarians and anyone who doesn’t eat meat/​pork. And why does every pizza have bacon on it! I also asked the lady at the cash register to make a chicken pizza due to the whack selection in pizza they offer during the buffet. And what happens? THERES BACON ON THE PIZZA. THIS place is terrible. 1 star. Would give it 0 if I could. Smh

Two words: DO BETTER! I ordered the two medium pizzas; one with meat and one without. The one without was not ready and the staff acted shocked that I requested a discount (are you kidding me?).
Customer service is obviously at the bottom of the list of priorities, right under quality of pizza. This pizza sucks! Tastes like baked olives on cardboard and clearly SOMEONE has a problem with math, 4 slices of cheese and 6 slices of vegetable? Is that half and half? (stay in school kids)
Last of honest pizza my BE-​hind. Yuck. Next time I’ll just make the drive to Pieology.

WOW!!! Really??? I’ve been going to this round table for 3 years and now you can’t accept a coupon sent to my mailbox for a $ 15.99 large pizza… because you currently have that same pizza on special for $ 16.99!!! I’m appalled that you refuse to HONOR your own coupons??? Why send them to me then? To me this is false advertisement! Thanks for chasing away your last loyal customers!!! Very disappointed! To top it off this came from the manager Kenny. So I can’t just say it was an untrained employee? Hmmmmm

I had ordered pizza online this last weekend for clients, due to an error on the delivery of the pizza I needed to call and speak with someone. Stacey answered at Round Table and she was willing to go over and above to do whatever possible to fix the situation. Her Customer Service is top rated and I appreciated her being there when I needed to speak with someone.

So after round table corporate gives me a call a couple weeks ago to rectify my previous issue, I decided to give this one another chance. And NOT too my surprise, they royally screwed up again! Consider me DONE with round table pizza especially this location. I will ensure everyone I speak too never goes to this round table.
I got the pizza over an hour later, with no sauces I ordered, and garlic twists that look like crap! See picture. I’m so upset and disappointed. I look forward to all my business going to papa johns down the street. BOYCOTT THIS ROUND TABLE! they are Horrible.
