Came for Tuesday night market in downtown Roseville and came upon this wonderful store. At first I thought it was your typical gift shop but it was more than that. Everything is made by a local artisan. With that said, it is a little pricey but what great unique pieces. There is a wish tree that you can write on a tag and hang for free. Fun idea. The place has such a happy aura. I especially loved this large table someone had repurposed into a beauty for $ 1750. If I had the space, I would have bought it. It was absolutely beautiful. I did not buy anything this time but I will definitely be back to look again as I imagine items are always changing.

Awesome gallery. Very cool items that jump out at you. Beautiful art. lots of items are made from recycled material. Well done. Unique antique items. The furniture is very cool. Well worth a visit. I bought a mirror today for my bathroom. Down with the one from Home Depot, finally. This shop is extremely colorful. the guy who was working there today explained where the items came from and the history about some of the art I was looking at. Eclectic is a good description for this shop. They also host art classes for all ages. What a fun place to browse around. It used to be Lulu’s boutique many years ago. Awesome!

I had the honor of attending an art class here last night and it was absolutely fabulous! A fun, creative way to spend a night with friends. The shop is so cute and full of inspiration. M, who runs the shop and class, was an absolute doll. So helpful and personable. The collage project we did was so enjoyable and I can’t wait to make more at home. There were so many adorable, inspiring décor products in the shop. Some really unique finds! I could have spent all day shopping in there. I highly recommend attending an art class here as well as doing a little shopping! Two thumbs up!

Review is geared towards those reserving for a group art session. Ms. M was our art instructor, eight ladies booked an evening appointment on a Saturday, and boy was it awesome. :-) If you’re looking for a fun«get-out-of-house» event with your girls, or whomever … anyone who appreciates creating art, whether you’re gifted or not, M will guide you to a cool piece and a great time. You arrive, head straight to the back, if you’re there for an art session, which we did … place is as cute as a button. Art is everywhere. A great shop. We all get settled, M tells us what the project entails, gives us the tools, lightly goes over the steps, monitors all the students, and the laughs and good times begin. If you’re stuck creatively, M will give you some ideas, but not to take over, just gentle nudges because she knows what items are going to help get the wheels spinning again, regardless if you don’t have a creative gene in your body(which is impossible, IMO). Our project involved a canvas, paint, paper from various scrap books, stamps, chalk, and final prep. Such a cool experience, and I didn’t even know about this place, a friend set this up as a «going away party» for a good friend. Forever grateful Nicki for finding this place and lets keep this place in town — it’s a gem and so are the folks working here. You’ll love it. Location: Vernon St, near«the Place» and on the same side of the street). Hidden gem — come check it out.

This store is part interior design and part art gallery. Sparrow 5 specializes in repurposing items into furniture and art. They even offer classes on how to repurpose and recycle furniture. It’s a wonderfully eclectic store with a friendly staff/owners who are always up for playing 20 questions about their pieces or the processes used to create them. If you’re an artsy type or just like the artsy types you have got to come check out this store.
