Worst panda around. It used to be fast and the food would be fresh and ready when it had 3 sweet Asian ladies running the show. The employees now are rude and impatient. Food is never ready and they make you feel bad for waiting for them to make food that should be ready. I know if you go to any other panda there motto is «we will wok anything fresh for you» just not at this panda. I live and work so close to it, yet I drive down the hill to the one by best buy to get great service and fresh food. It’s such a shame. I hope they read these comments and get better service.

Tuesday night I went in to get lunch for my co worker and I. I was ordering a soda to go with my food and I asked her can I see the size difference between a small and medium, she showed me. As she showed me I had asked for the smaller. Well the smaller cup had a lid and a straw punched in. It looked empty but you can definitely tell that it had all ready been used due to the soda all in the inner part of the lid(plus it had a freaking straw!) I didn’t say nothing I continue to watch her(keeping my eye on that used cup) as she rang out my two separate orders. As she got to due mine and she asked what soda I wanted she took the straw out, then she took off the lid of the small cup and went to fill with soda. I told her I don’t want that cup! That cup has been used! She said no and continued to argue with me and using a high voice. I looked her when she finished filling and went to put the cup down to ring it out. I told him NO I don’t want the soda take it off my order! She then begin to yell and tell me I’m a liar. So i said forget it! Cancel my WHOLE order. That just blew her top! Bc I made her prepare my food. Really?! I went to bring it up the someone up in the front and no one seemed to know what to do. There was an older chubby lady with long hair(a little pass her shoulders) that had tons of gray … She just laughed as I told her and told me to go talk to the other lady that was I believe a register older but it wasn’t a register I believe… The lady never looked up bc to acknowledge my presence as she was occupied with another customer. Which I completely understand, but don’t make me stand there like I have all the time in the world and can’t even look up and say just give me a minute … ORANYTHING! I never shop here anyways only come her to go to Starbucks when the other Starbucks is too busy or I’ll come here for Panda Express! But forget that now. I don’t want anything to do with pavilions! Ps. I’ll be contacting corp. about this matter and ALSO, that day they had NO white rice, NO fried rice, or the cream cheese things!

Usually one of the slowest ones I go too. There are locations which are more fresh than this one also. The older ladies there are the only fast workers

* Portions sizes have been greatly reduced. My kids notice and are surprised to see how less they serve here versus other Panda locations. * Unfriendly customer service, especially from the main woman who’s either the manager or franchise owner. If you ask for anything other than just telling her your order, you’re generally greeted with a snarl. * The steamed veggies are often sitting for too long and become discolored and not very appetizing. Other than the orange chicken, many other dishes sit for too long. It is a Panda, but when the economy soured, I’ve noticed many other fast-food places have stepped up their service and are at least courteous. This Panda is what you’d expect at an airport, where you don’t expect to see anyone again.

Same taste as any other Panda Express. Thing is, the portions in this particular location are ALWAYS so small for some reason. If you’re hungry you’re just basically throwing your money away.

I came here during my lunch break from work. I ordered a 2 item combo and found a clear piece of plastic in my food. I complained to the staff about this issue and the Asian woman has the audacity to tell me that it wasn’t plastic, it was onion. I called over the manager and she confirmed that there was plastic in my food. She told me to wait while she finishes serving the other customers. I demanded that she give me back my money in full now. Bottom line, DON’T EATHERE! It’s unsanitary and you could get food poisoning from eating this crap. The staff is completely incompetent and lacks good judgement.

I been to Panda Express many times. I decided to come to Panda for dinner because I had a free entrée with a 3 item combo. I got half noodles and half fried rice, with teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and kung pao chicken. When I got to the register, I asked for soy sauce and the lady only gave me one, so I had to ask for another one. It seems like all Panda service is the same.

I really like and love panda. I eat from here all the time. I really like the fried spicy tofu with eggplant and I also like the fried rice. I like the veggie spring rolls and the cream cheese wontons. I have been eating here for years.

i remember when this Panda first opened years ago and the line would be almost out the door haha. Its is what it is, fast food. Dont expect to get chinese restaurant quality food here but don’t get me wrong its not bad. It used to be all about the orange chicken but now its so way over battered theres not much chicken in there. I prefer to get the non fried items(black pepper chicken, chicken with potato etc).

Pretty decent for fast Chinese food. They lose one star for a little too much grease on… well, everything. But as greasy as the noodles are, they rock. If you’re not counting calories and, unlike the one star review below, you don’t try to be healthy and eat veggies(who goes to a fast food place to eat veggies, seriously?), you’ll love it. They were generous with the portions, too, so I even had leftover which was a good thing!

It’s panda. It’s better than most Pandas, but not the best. But keep in mind they are all Panda. So don’t expect too much.

What’s not to love about Panda? When I need my orange chicken fixin’, Panda is always there. The only thing Chinese about Panda are the ladies working there, but who cares. When you’re hungry, the stuff is good and filling. The food quality at this location is consistent and reliable. The kitchen is also open for view and you can see how clean the operation is.

Nice and easy Chinese food inside Pavilions. The line can be long(especially when the high school is on lunch break) but the staff are great. If there isn’t a lot of what you want, just ask them to make some more. They are very helpful.

Screw the food, Panda Express ROCKS ! The only problem with the posts up are that your going to the wrong Panda Express. The employees at the Pen. Center Pavilion are worthless. They dont care and it shows. This location missrepresents Panda Express. zero stars

The same two chinese ladies have been working here for years and they are getting it down to perfection. Best Panda express ever because its so busy all the time and the food is always hot right off the grill. If you don’t like chinese take out then you can go to a real chinese restaurant but if you like fast chinese then this place is definitely going to fill you up good.

What was I thinking. This was only my second visit to a Panda Express, and I don’t really remember the first time. But it will be a cold day in hell before I go back thrice. This Panda is inside the Pavilions at Silver Spur & Hawthorne. I was running around doing errands on an empty stomach, so hungry I was getting a headache, so I figured… how bad could this place be? Well. I got the 2 entrees/one side combo… black pepper chicken, Kung Pao chicken, and mixed veggies for the side. As he was dishing it up, I was thinking it was a crapload of food for 6 bucks, maybe enough for lunch & dinner both. I took it outside to a table in front of Mayer’s Bakery. Dave Brubeck tunes were playing in the mall, so far so good. Then came the food. Ix-nay on al dente veggies. The broccoli was not cooked much at all. If I’d wanted raw veggies, I woulda got a salad. And those things I’d hoped were hunks of sweet potato in the mixed veggies turned out to be tofu. Ix-nay on that too. I don’t want tofu in my veggies, especially in chunks as big as my fist. Ix-nay times 10 on the styrofoam containers used at Panda. Not cool for me or the environment, assuming they are not the earth-friendly styro. So the Panda lunch was mostly inedible. I gnawed off the florets from the uncooked broccoli stalks, I picked at some of the chicken which was mostly tough. Then I opened the fortune cookie: «Health and Happiness are coming your way.» So I went back inside Pavilions to the Starbucks for an iced black tea. They were out of it! I would have had to wait for a new batch to brew. As I drove home, I began to feel kinda sick in my stomach. I’m thinking that fortune was as effed up as the food…

i can’t find any authentic chinese food here. everything is americanized, but still decent. especially for a quick to-go order! this little fast food joint is inside pavilions & by the produce & bread section. there are a varitey of choices to choose from, but the best deal is their combination plates where you can choose 2 entrees & a choice of steamed/fried rice, chow mein/mixed vegetables. you can another entrée for just an additional $ 1.25. there is usually a line(especially during lunch with high school seniors) but the wait is short because they’re consistent & everything is already prepared(you can see the food smoking hot in their trays behind the plastic window counter area. a good place for a quick-bite, but the food is far from being«chinese». maybe the names are«kung-pao, teriyaki, mongolian, etc», but that’s the only chinese thing about it. the names, not the americanized food.
