Hate it here! Obviously this place should not have the rude owner! Great nails but losing my business because of him!!! JUST LOOK AT THE WAY HE RESPONDS TO HIS Unilocal REVIEWS!

I used to go here because it was convenient and cheap. One day, out of the blue, the owner, Tony, started screaming at me. My seven year old was with me at the time, and now, two years later, I still haven’t forgotten (and neither has she) how vicious he was. His wife is lovely, and I hope he treats her better than his customers. I now go to Mango Salon on 355 – prices are just as good and the owners are lovely.

I went to this place for the first time not too long ago. I was really impressed with how my nails were done. My nails were done by a guy there. I’m not gonna say his name for confidential reasons but he did a bangin job. Apparently he had been doing nails for about 22 years. I liked that they weren’t gossiping about me in their language. The whole time he was talking to me about my life and his life. He had great conversation along with a great sense of humor.
The price here wasn’t too bad either. I got acrylic nails! It costed me $ 30.00. The original price is $ 25.00. It costed me $ 30.00 because I wanted a design so he added five dollars to it. It was all worth it though.
To wrap it up, I think I might go back to get me a pink French manicure lol

My pedicure was fair. However, the staff was extremely RUDE. The owner was particularly rude and disrespectful. For this reason I wouldn’t return or recommend this salon. Customer service is key to any successful business. Guess they missed that in Business 101.

Do NOT go here. Staff is very rude. Conditions are sub par. Experience is terrible. I’ve been going here for the past year, due to the cheap prices. It often takes 90min just to get a gel manicure. Tony, the owner, has bizarre behavior and makes patrons uncomfortable with odd provocative comments. I will never go here again.

I am really disappointed with this place because I first thought I finally found a great nail saloon that’s close to my house and reasonably priced. The first two times were ok although I didn’t appreciate all the comments made by the man who works there. he kept saying things like its only like $ 25, can you find another place that cheap etc as if I couldn’t afford it. Because I was happy with the nails I always tipped $ 10, and I really liked it when the girls did my nails– they did a great job.
I am giving them a bad review because I was grossed out at my last visit by the man who stepped over the line this time. He usually says things like ‘men like women with nails done’ etc and just makes these borderline inappropriate statements about looking good. I just ignored it but last time when I asked him to do a normal manicure instead of the gel manicure he got all upset and the whole time kept saying i was wasting money because the Gel was only $ 7 more. He asked me if I didn’t have enough money which was embarrassing so I told him I didn’t want them for two weeks but just a few days because my nails were chipping after the third time and my husband and I both noticed my nails getting weak.
Then he starts blasting my husband saying he’s jealous of other men noticing my nails (as if!) and he’s not a nail expert etc. he starts saying even doctors are stupid and change their ‘theories’ all the time. I didn’t need a lecture so I just ignored it hoping me being quiet would stop the conversation.
Then this is what really pissed me off, he asks me ‘what did u do last night– did u watch a sex movie?’ I was shocked, I said ‘no! That’s not something I want to discuss”. i think he didn’t understand what I said because then he says ‘it’s because you are from the Indian culture and your husband is too’ (because he’s seen him). he then says ‘you should have married an American they are open and let you have fun like watch sex movies’
He’s laughing and I can see that he thinks he’s teasing me but NO! That was so creepy and I couldn’t stand him touching my hands after that.
I will not go to this place again. I found another place close to my house that’s the same price and all women. I know they read their reviews so when you read this, learn to be ‘appropriate’ with your ‘clients’ and remember that’s what they are. They are paying customers, not your friends or people who give a crap about your opinion on doctors etc. Don’t ever talk or bring up sex. Don’t even compliment your clients because i think English is your second language and you don’t know how to word it right. You just end up sounding like your flirting.

This place is under new management as of a few months ago. I went here once years ago and I was disappointed with the service but like I said, this place is under new management and they are fantastic.
I used to go to Luxury Nails up the street at the intersection of Shady Grove and 355 and they refused to help me one time because it was 30 mins before their closing time, they’ve lost my service ever since.
Definitely check out this place. I am someone who gets mani/pedi’s and wax services on a bi weekly basis and I will honestly never go anywhere else.

I posted a review on this business back in 2007. It was a mediocre three-​star review. Since then, someone who seems to be the owner (Tony) has sent me a number of messages and posted comments on my review accusing me of being fake. The guy seems to be pretty obsessive. I was tempted to take down my review altogether, but that would be giving in to his harassment.
Obviously my review was out of date anyway, since it was 7 years old. But I’d never patronize a business where the owner harasses people who post reviews (as well as clients, according to other reviews).

Tried Nails For You on a whim after I gave up on Cutting Edge in the same shopping center. Semi-​proficient in English, but a good straightforward place. $ 10 for eyebrows. I was hesitant, but gave it a try, and the waxing was quick. My eyebrows were well-​shaped, and as I requested, she didn’t make them too thin. I’m still trying to decide if they look exactly the same on both sides, but there’s nothing obviously wrong.
