This place is disgusting. Don’t go here. You will regret! You walk in and it smells like old farts and smoke. We walked in and left it was gross.

Interesting place. Tucked in a strip mall right next to the airport, it’s easy to find because of the plethora of twinkle lights on both the outside and in. The bar has a dive/biker clientele and hawaiian/disco décor, which makes for quite a strange vibe. Super casual attire on the men, but all the women were wearing stiletto boots under their jeans The owner and main bartender(brothers) are friendly and chatty with the regulars and newbies alike. The big downside of this bar(to me, but could be considered an upside I guess) is that people still smoke inside. It was weird to come home and reek of smoke after going to smoke-free establishments for so long!

Not sure why there are 2 «filtered» reviews for this place. As everyone else says, it’s a dive bar, but make no mistake, this is the BEST dive bar in Rochester. The male bartenders have been there for awhile, and treat you great! The owner is frequently there, and is a great guy also. Drinks are cheap, and STRONG(nothing watered down here). The food is great, and very reasonably priced($ 8.95 for a strip steak with 2 sides). Also, as others have said, usually a bikini bartender on duty, and looking gorgeous! If you’ve never been, give it a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to this bar for 2 years now. Hidden in a shopping center across from Rochester International Airport, this bar is a favorite of the locals. The owner is there everyday drinking with the patrons, usually giving out free drinks by the end of the night. The owner’s brother, Chucky, is a bartender on Wednesday and Friday nights. This guy drinks right along with the people he is serving and by the end of the night you are both singing some song from the 80’s while playing the air guitar. Definitely a bar for any classic rock/80’s fan. It’s almost like stepping back in time. There are multiple beers on tap including Yuengling, Labatt Blue, Molson, Coors, and Bud. Prices are some of the cheapest in Rochester, with Pitchers costing $ 7.50, shots are $ 4, and bottles of beer are 3.50. Along with Bartenders like Chucky, there are«Bikini Bartenders» working every night of the week. Food is surprisingly good. They make their own Buffalo wing sauce and it goes great with their fries, in a concoction called«Buffalo Fries». Trust me, they are the ultimate drunk food. The burgers are some of the best I have ever had. In short, this place is like nothing else in Rochester. You should try it at least once.

Whenever I visit Rochester, I end up at the Landing Strip. Make no mistake, this is a dive bar. But it’s a fun dive bar, and all of my local friends call this particular one«home.» The Landing Strip has a bunch of beers on tap, a bikini-clad bartender, a stripper pole, a DJ cage(that apparently no one can open), pool tables, and plenty of TVs for catching a sports game. The décor is eclectic, to say the least, with a theme of «everything.» It’s like you’re drinking at a debauched garage sale. The owner is friendly and the bar has a lot of regulars. Just being friends with regulars, we’re welcomed. I’ve heard the food is decent, though all I’ve had is appetizers. I wouldn’t want to spend every evening here(as some of my friends do), but I can see some of the appeal of having a local friendly dive bar.
