This is the best looking taco time I’ve been inside. You can see the cleanliness of the kitchen and how they prepare the food. The modern look is a great way to rebrand their theme of freshness. They have hand sink in the lobby, low lights, & fire place it felt like i was In a home. The food was good and the customer service was great good job

Decent food as fast food goes, but way overpriced for what you get. Most of the other local Mexican places, and taquerias are both better and cheaper.

Whether you get your food through the drive-thru or in the restaurant, it’s a guarantee they will mess up your order. Here’s all the issues I’ve encountered going here: Missing items, mixing up chicken and beef taco, not including chips with the mexi-platte, — wrong sized mexi-fries, forgot dressing for salad, not putting hot sauce in bag after requesting it– it’s just sloppy! It’s just bad.

The drive thru wait is totally worth the freshness in the product, but to wait 20 minutes and have the person working the window ask what sauce we wanted(2 hot sauce please) and have them completely forget to put it in the bag along with some utensils just ruined the whole meal.

I’m so happy my Taco Time remodeled and reopened. This is not your place if you want authentic local family owned Mexican food and it should be clear to you that that’s not their motto. I love that style of Mexican food, but I do love this Americanized Mexcian food also, it’s quick and consistent. The drive through won’t be quick as McDonald’s because they don’t have anything pre-made and sitting there the whole day, and I know because every single thing I’ve ever ordered is HOT. Because of it’s slightly better fast food quality, prices here aren’t slightly higher. But I don’t come here to be cheap, I come here if I’m lazy to cook and don’t want to waste time dining in. The crispy tacos are always a classic. The crispy burritos are a win in my book too. Oh yeah, can’t forget the Mexi-fries, which are tater tots, you can’t blame me for not warning you that everything here is Americanized! Haha. The hot sauce is interesting, it’s one of the best hot sauce I’ve had and I can’t find a single restaurant that carries the same taste. Tell me about your experience if you’ve been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Even though this place can get busy in the evening/lunch hours, the food is still good! I like the new place, much needed update from the one before! The staff are friendly and does a great job.

I had high hopes for this location after it was rebuilt. It looks really nice. That’s about it. The first two visits back yielded missing items from my order that I didn’t discover until I got home. As I type this on a Friday night I have been stuck in line for twenty minutes so far. There were only three cars in front of me. I have not moved in ten minutes. The lady behind me just shut off her car and walked to the window to see what is going on. What the heck Taco Time?

First time here was confused with the menu. Ordered a regular taco salad which is a good size. Veggies were fresh and chips were crunchy. It was very good better than Taco Bell. My daughter had the taco and they were generous with their meat portions. She was very happy

Love Taco Time? You will NOT like this Renton location. EVERYtime I go here they are SLOOOOOOWWWW. This particular time, my husband and I were behind some nursing students from Renton Technical College who were clearly on break from their evening class. The nursing students had placed their orders to dine-in. The students then realized that if they didn’t change their orders to «to-go» that they would be late to return to class. In changing their orders, the employees managed to foul up the students’ orders… I only make a point of the experience the students had because it in turn had a cascade effect on the rest of us waiting for out meals. This one experience was based the very fact that each time I have tried their drive-thru service I am frustrated by the amount of time spent in said line. So, my husband and I figured that by going inside we would receive a more«fast food type speed». Bottom line: This location kicks out the same Taco Time quality you expect: Fresh ingredients. BUT, they are stupid slow.

Until last week, I was based out of Los Angeles, aka«taco central,» but even during my seven year tenure, I always missed Taco Time. Chalk it up to childhood nostalgia or white people’s affinity for chicken and ranch dressing, but this stuff hits the spot! I ventured out of my parents’ pad to grab some lunch, and it hit me that taco time was an option again, so you can bet I hightailed it over to this location. I can’t speak for the interior as I opted for the drive thru, but it delivered the usual experience I’ve come to expect over the years. Is this gourmet? no, but it’s solid and reliable, and definitely makes me relive childhood. Plus you can’t beat the crunchy ice and the fancy soda machines!

Horrible food. I was fresh out the gym. Always see cars in drive thru so went inside to see what so good. As I walk in I see a black cashier and white lady in drive thru. I knew this was not going to be authentic mexican food. Was hungry so ordered numbee 4 I believe. 2 tacos. I got the beef. Comes wjth tater tots. Wtf. Fries been fine with me. Anyways. The soft shell flour was so plain. Like plain no taste. The beef it self look super process and dried. No cheese on the taco. Just lettuce m some salsa. Ate one taco n done. Never going back. This place makes taco bell look like god.

Love Taco Time! Been to this branch a few times and it’s always clean and the staff are nice. My favorite are the pinto bean crunchy tacos. Much better than anything Taco Bell puts out, the ingredients actually taste fresh and come from local sources. At Taco Bell, most of the time the lettuce tastes sour, the sour cream kinda questionable… I’ve never had that issue at Taco Time. It’s always good. Almost all of their food wrappers, containers and utensils are compostable. Good good, fresh fresh!

A friend and I eat at this Taco Time every few months. The restaurant has always been clean. The employees are friendly. The food tastes pretty good. Our last trip there was especially pleasant. It was December 18, 2012. The guy behind the counter got us to laugh. Very friendly! It set a good tone for both of us for the rest of the evening. Money well spent! :)

I love Taco Time. This one in particular doesn’t jump out as the best or worst Taco Time. I think the ice tastes a little funny, but the food usually tastes great! Service is quick enough and courteous enough. This might sound reeeeeally trivial, but the plants around the drive through have had icky powdery mildew for ages! They need to replace them! I’m always noticing when I drive by… doesn’t have a thing to do with the restaurant or the food, but its the only glaring thing I think of when I go here!

I am a Taco Time believer. I visit this place religously, but tonight I’m not a huge fan of the location I visited. I’ve never asked them to do anything special to my order but tonight my boyfriend got the enchalada platter. He doesn’t like refried beans, so I asked at the window(forgot at the speaker) if they could do more rice instead of beans. Didn’t really get a clear answer. Well 5 mins later after they contimplated the rice situation we get our order and I asked if we could get salsa and she told me that its in the bag. I get home, my coke is actually a very watered down tea and they put hot sauce in the bag not salsa. LAME! Still love Taco Time, not this location though.

Yeah yeah yeah. I love taco time. Living in SF for two years was torture without my taco time fix. I could dip everything in that hot sauce. Is it authentic? Hell no. But its super delicious and fresh. Staff here is friendly. I like to dine in at this location. I can pump my own hot sauce without having to ask for more. And there ar giant booths everywhere.

My friend had never been here so we stopped in so I could introduce him to the Taco Time soft taco! Yum! Standard Taco Time. Food was hot and my order was correct. Dining room was clean and the bathrooms were serviceable.
