Great service and a fantastic atmosphere with reasonable prices. I had the pear salad which was good, albeit a bit monotonous. Large portions and a very caried and full menu.

I came here with my brother and unfortunately found a large egg shell piece which I gagged on. Otherwise, their eggs benedict was tasty with the egg perfectly poached, good hollandaise sauce, and thick pieces of ham. I had fruit on the side and it appeared fresh(banana, cantaloupe, apple). My brother had a scamble with the hashbrowns. He enjoyed his meal but didn’t think it was amazing. I loved the small diner atmosphere but finding egg shells in an dish containing eggs is very disappointing. The servers were arguing over who should hand out checks or bust tables as well so that was strange. Service was fast when taking our order but that was about it. I had to ask for my check several times and we didn’t get our water filled. I’ll have to keep searching for a good breakfast/brunch place to bring people from out of town.

We were initially going to make a stop in Redwood City for the Russian restaurant but since it was closed we decided to come here instead. Believe it or not breakfast at 3 pm is a great idea. They had great options and a lovely lady from Mexico helped us with our orders. Country style potatoes are definately a must as a side :)

Wanted to say that this place was chosen accidentally when Jess just passing near. Didn’t looked at their reviews before coming and was happiest person that morning. Food is awesome as well as people who work there and serve you. Every good place for breakfast. Recommended

Been coming here for a while now, amazing home cooked food(even though they NEVER cook their hashbrowns until they’re actually brown) for a great price. The menu is good length. Food almost always comes out quickly. I have to say the service is subpar. It is diner quality service; Don’t expect greatness and you won’t be disappointed. All in all; the food is great. Prices are good. Service isn’t the worst. BUTPLEASECLEANUP!!! Has anyone else noticed the LAYERS of dust on the fans, vents and wall hangings?

Great breakfast food! — served all day Their different styles of Eggs Benedict are super tasty, and their omelettes are great! I love the outdoor seating looking out to downtown Redwood City. This is one of my go-to breakfast spots to eat outside so I can bring my dog too. The staff is friendly, but busy. The owner John is really nice, and gets to know his customers. Opens at 6am which is a plus. I’m just sad they reduced the hours they’re open until 3pm. They used to stay open until about 7 or 8pm. Can get really crowded for the breakfast rush hour over the weekend Definitely a place to check out, especially for breakfast.

Just moved to town and we were looking for a breakfast spot with outdoor seating so we could bring our dog. This place was all that we’d hoped for. Despite the rain we were comfortable on the protected seating area. Service was prompt. I opted for a mixed veggie instead of home fries which were perfectly done. The eggs over easy were great. My daughter’s banana walnut pancake were fluffy and huge. Highly recommend. Everyone was super friendly.

Not impressed at all. You can’t really screw up country potatoes and sunny side up eggs. Coffee was not strong and had a cigarette look and taste to it. Service was lacking. Did not get asked if we were enjoying our food. Disappointing choice.

Awesome sweet potato pancakes! My baby loved them! The place is small and too warm inside on a hot afternoon. Not elegant or pretty, but good service and good food. I’ll come for more.

I came here because I was too early for a DMV appointment. The food here was good, but nothing spectacular. The waitress was nice and quick in providing service. The only thing I would complain about is the price. I paid around $ 15 + tip for an omelette and regular black coffee. This is not ridiculous, but for that price point I’d go elsewhere. I would definitely come back if I was in the area and had to get breakfast, but this is not somewhere I would go out of my way to try.

I love this place. It most definitely beats the chainy Denny’s and IHOP by a mile and then some. One of my favorites is the Corned Beef Hash plate. Soooo good and sooooo filling. Another great deal is their weekday breakfast special– pick 4 items for $ 8! Now you definitely cannot beat that! I ordered bacon, eggs, fruit bowl, and hash browns… BOOM. The wait staff can be spotty at times when it’s busy, so be prepared. Other than that, this is one of my favorite breakfast spots in RWC.

In search for caffeine this morning this is the 1st place we came across. Went in ordered coffee and asked for half and half(being lactose intolerant) to my surprise they only have 2% milk. Disappointed drank my coffee black Ruined my day! Ordered our food. Food Presentation Is just alright. one of plates came late, during eating had to ask for refill didn’t check on our drinks(restaurant wasn’t even busy). They almost charged us twice.

Experience was like this *after waiting 15 minutes, calls us for party of 3* Server: *sits 2 menus and flatware for 2 down* Me: we’re a party of 3, our friend is outside can we have another menu? Server: well I’m setting up for 2 right now, you want a drink? Soda? Sprite, coke what do you like? Friend and I: *blank confused stares at «well I brought this and basically wtf do you want to drink?» We just left…

Now that we have a dog we like to take her with us to brunch most days when the weather is nice. We have a couple dog-friendly brunch places we love, but we’re always on the lookout for new ones, so we decided to come check out their outdoor seating. There was no wait a little after 10 am on a Saturday. The menu has all the standard breakfast favorites as well as lunch options. My husband had the chicken fried steak, eggs(over medium), hashbrowns and toast(he had English muffin). He really enjoyed his food, and I loved the bites I stole, especially the chicken fried steak. I had blueberry pancakes that were excellent as well, and priced very reasonably at $ 7 or so for 2 plate-sized pancakes. The prices here are definitely less than at a lot of other places in the area. Brunch for the two of us was $ 20, even with my husband having a steak. The waitress was super friendly and very sweet to our pup. This will definitely go in our regular brunch-with-dog rotation.

We stopped by for brunch on a Saturday morning at 10 am and only had to wait about five minutes for a table. While it was initially a little crowded, people started clearing out fairly soon after, which is an earlier brunch/breakfast crowd that I’m used to on a weekend — but great for us! I was very happy with the food, which was of good diner quality. The buttermilk pancakes were nice and fluffy, the bacon was well-cooked, and the eggs were served just right. Also our service was great — coffee was kept refilled, tricky orders were taken with ease, and we were not rushed out at all. Given the seeming lack of brunch options in the peninsula, I would definitely come back.

We had to kill time in the RC so we landed on this place based on Unilocal reviews(Thank you fellow Unilocalers!). Cute little shop that seemed busy but they were able to sit our party of three right on the sidewalk. It’s a very quaint place so be prepared to hear about your neighbors dilemma with the school board and her children or whatever conversation is going on in the next table beside you. What I swallowed: FRENCHTOASTWITHSAUSAGE: The french toast was yummy and the edges were crispy. I was very pleased with my french toast. The sausage had good flavor too so I was quite pleased with this dish. Dog friendly, cute place.
