I usually like to support local businesses especially here in Queen Creek since some of the local joint have the best food and service here. Not in this case. We where a party of 10 and decided to try it out since the parade had just finished up and we where hungry for some Mexican food. We where never greeted when we walked in and there was only 1 other table sitting in there. When I walked up to the bar the lady finally looked up at us and said go ahead and seat yourselves and I’ll be with you. It took about 10 minutes for her to come get our drink order and she actually walked away to help the table of 2 that was just seated, before I could tell her what the kids wanted to drink. 15 minutes later(after the other table had there drinks promptly) another server brought our drinks missing 1 that was actually ordered, we told her what the kids wanted to drink and the missing Pepsi. Turns out they where out of Pepsi and our Dr. Peppers tasted like that had ran out of syrup as well. We had to change up to Root Beer. Our original server finally came back to us about 10 minutes after that to take our orders(this should have been the point that we left by now… But we where parked so far away). The food took forever, the table that came after us had finished there food and left before ours had even arrived. The second server had started to bring the food out but had no idea what the items where. If there was a burrito on the plate she didn’t know what kind. My husband ordered a chile relleno and she said umm I don’t know what this is, it has a jalapeño in it. When we said is it the chile relleno she said no it’s a jalapeño, then walked off with the plates. A few minutes later the original server showed up with the plates and knew what they where. The food came out staggered so some of us where waiting awhile. As for the taste, it was ok. However my carne asada burrito had so many layers of tortilla I had a very hard time cutting through it. When we got the bill we had to have them fix it since they where charging us for regular size burritos instead of the mini burritos we ordered for the kids and her response was well there wasn’t a button for it. Our response was well we ordered mini burritos that are $ 1.99 not $ 4. So she was like ok I’ll need to redo the check. The place is very outdated and dirty. The ceiling fans where filthy and the restrooms needed attention. Several teenagers/kids and adults that looked like they where not working where in and out of the kitchen. When they would walk out they had food they where eating. Maybe family members, could be why it was so unorganized and food was coming out slow. Needless to say we will not be returning and I would never recommend anyone to this restaurant.

I like Rudy’s because the food is very very good, and the prices are awesome! My husband loves this place and always comes here, and he brought me in today and I loved it. Alysa is very friendly. Our food took a little bit of time to come out but it’s because they only have one cook, and I see why, because she makes the food taste really good. The enchilada sauce is a bit spicy just to let all of those people who can’t stand spicy food know. Since the food came out a little late, they gave us our drinks for free! PLEASENOTE: THEYONLYHAVEONECOOKSOCOMEWHENIT’S NOTBUSY. they have awesome food and will be back again.

This Place is awful!!! My sister and myself ordered the taco salad, first off it was full of just lettuce no meat barley any cheese when asked for more meat they brought out ground beef that had obviously been microwaved and tasted awful. We asked for it to be taken off our bill because it had not been touch and we were not satisfied, the owner came out and told us that she would not remove it, after a few mins of talking back and forth she said whatever and walked away. when we first came in we had mentioned that it was our dads birthday and if they did anything. They responded: free fired ice cream, while after this happened the owner then said that there was no ice cream. The servers were great but the owner has no idea how to run a business or cook authentic Mexican food.

if i could give this place a zero star rating, i would!!! this is a 100% family run and owned restaurant and grandma toni cooks the food… she needs to retire!!!# her granddaughter yolanda served us and they only had 3 tables fillled… not busy at all! however grandma toni managed to burn everything but our eggs… yolanda took our order and we never saw her again till we got the check… we could never get our server yolanda back to our table to address the horrible food we had been served! when yolanda finally brought the check, we went to pay for our over priced horrible food and address our concerns… yolanda got upset that we complained and told us that«there food is never badly cooked and that next time we should stay home and cook our own food» so needless to say that was the worst experience in my life… we will never go back and urge others not to go either…

Horrible place 1st the manager/owner argued with the waitress in front of us. Then after the food came out they brought our utensils had to look at our food while waiting for them. We were the only customers there, that should have been our clue to leave. The manager/owner needs to wake up and figure out he shouldn’t argue in front of customers. The food had no flavor, and their oil is on the edge of being rancid. Overall I don’t recommend this place. No atmospher and ok food.

This place is terrible! Not only is the food bland and non-authentic, but the service is even worse. The waitresses don’t know what they are doing! It took 3 people to figure out how to use their register. The couple before us walked out upset because they charged food they didn’t order to their check. The salsa taste like it came out of a jar, like seriously the hot pace picante sauce! You can taste the MSG’s in the beans and the rice was dry and flavorless. I ordered ground beef tacos and let’s just say taco bell has better tacos. While I am typing this my husband has been inside for 20 plus min waiting for the waitress to figure out how to run the register. I am so annoyed because now we are going to miss our movie. Don’t waste your time or money!

Like supporting local businesses but never ever going here again, like ever. Maybe if it’s torn down and a nice new place not called Rudy’s is built in its place, maybe then I’ll return. Very slow service, had ask for chips and salsa, they charge 4.00 to fry a burrito, why does it cost 4.00 to fry a freakin burrito? They need to learn to cost out their food. They sur charge for every little thing chimichanga plate ended up costing over 17.00 bucks! They need to hire an interior designer. They need a little background music. I don’t understand how anyone could give this place more than ¼ of a star. I’m giving one star cuz the server was clearly brand and I feel sorry that she has to work at this depressing job but I’m never going back here ever ever ever again.

In and out. No, not the burger joint, that’s how my experience went. Came in for lunch on a weekday with my parents and the first thing I noticed was the dead silence. No music — just the sound of clanking plates. There were only four tables and one of which was taking all of the attention of the two employees on shift. There seemed to be some issue with the bill with these folks so no one bothered to stop what they were doing to greet us or bring any water. Oh wait we did get a greeting, awkwardly on the way out as I told the owner we were leaving because it was too hot. He just stood there dumbfounded, as if he couldn’t tell the temperature inside the restaurant was about 85 degrees. I used to come to this place all the time when I lived in queen creek a couple years ago. Man has it gone downhill. Must be new ownership or something, because I’ve never had an experience like this here. And I’d also like to note that this is a prime location right on the corner — no reason for this restaurant to be empty. There’s obviously something wrong going on here.

We felt like trying something new this morning so we had a chorizo egg and cheese breakfast burrito and a bacon potato egg and cheese breakfast burrito. They were made with real tortillas, And were Big enough for us to eat half and already get full and at $ 4.50 a burrito. Awesome prices and awesome food! The woman behind the counter other than the young girl at the register weren’t very friendly but I will definitely be coming back and recommending to my friends and family.

Just tried this place for the first time tonight! Loved the free chips and salsa! The salsa is the kind that the spice sneaks up on you but the flavor is so good you don’t want to stop eating it. I had the machaca tacos, the meat was super tender and had great flavor and spice. My husband had the Sonoran enchiladas again super good flavor on the meat, and the thick flour tortilla was awesome. The beans and rice were fantastic as well. This is a small locally owned place that does food right, the price is wonderful as well. Give this place a shot the next time you want good Mexican food in queen creek!

Cheap lunch or dinner spot. Didn’t try breakfast so can’t comment on that. Guacamole and chips were good. Salsa was hot. I had fish tacos(street tacos so small), they were ok a little too much cabbage. We also has taco salad, and tacos both with ground beef. Ground beef a little dry. Food was out fast. Pepsi products served. Service was good.

This is a decent eatery in the heart of old town Queen Creek. The place is spacious, and the service is fine. The food is good, not spectacular; the enchilada dinner I ordered here is comparable to Mi Patio’s in Phoenix, though the latter serves bigger portions.
