I love Jersey Mike’s. I have been to many sub franchises and they are my all time favorite. Their food is always fresh and they have a huge menu. You might occasionally get a surly teenager to help you but rarely. I eat here all the time.

So disappointed-​EVERY time we order a sub to go the order is wrong. Tonight was the worst… wrap was soaked (like a paper towel would be) in the ranch. It was un-​edible by the time we got home less than a mile away. Other time when pregnant, they wouldn’t heat up the turkey-​really?! The manager told the team to say they «don’t do that» when requested. WOW
Bummer because we love a good sub and we were so excited when they opened, can’t say we didn’t give them multiple chances. We won’t be going back.

This is the second Jersey Mikes my family has been too. If you need a quick sandwich, it’s a fine place to go. I have nothing particularly good or bad to say about them. They are on par with their major competitors.

This location has definitely got it’s game on! The staff cranks out sandwiches and drinks like they’ve been doing it for years. The quality of their sandwiches is excellent: the lettuce is cold and crisp, the meat is tasty, and the condiments are fresh. They offer several sizes for their sandwiches and there’s a size for everyone. The guys at the register were friendly yet fast.

Always a long wait (even at off hours) and the staff is always disorganized. Each time I come in there is confusion with my order or someone else’s, especially if you order anything from the grill. It’s also overpriced for what you get. Gave two stars because the staff is generally friendly and apologetic when mistakes happen. Subs are decent especially with so few options nearby.
…aaaaand just got home and my sub is wrong.

The Jersey Mike’s in Purcellville is my go-​to spot anytime I want a sub. The ingredients that they use on the sub taste fresh every time. I am absolutely shocked from some of the reviews saying that the staff is not friendly. The staff is mostly young kids but they do a great job considering the amount of traffic they get on a daily basis. They always greet me with a smile and have never gotten my order wrong. By far my favorite sub place in Purcellville!

I hope this review helps the franchise owners of this particular Jersey Mike’s.
I’ve been to several JMs in the Northern Virginia area; usually Chantilly and also Leesburg among others.
The Purcellville location is currently suffering from a lack of good management. I have been in their twice recently and had to wait for the lone person doing everything from slicing the meat/​bread to putting on the condiments to serving as cashier — while 4 or 5 other teen employees huddled in the back goofing around.
This is the only location where I have had to deal with this annoyance; All other locations every employee is cranking out the subs with a smile.
Food is of the same high quality; The owner just needs to kick some butt or find better employees who understand the negative effect goofing around on the job can give to customers. It personally gives me pause about going there often.

Couldn’t agree less with the unfriendly staff. Every time I go in there they are super friendly, and the place is bright and clean. So I have no idea what these people are talking about!
I LOVE cold cut subs and this place is my favorite when getting them. I always get it mikes way… yummmmmm. I have had their cheesecake sub and thought it was tasty, but think their cold subs are much better. The fact they don’t heat cold subs doesn’t bother me… because they are supposed to be COLD!!! You would ask an Italian deli to do this and if you did, most true ones wouldn’t do it anyway.
Pricy, but I would much rather eat here where everything is fresh than subway, well where it’s not. I have friends who have worked in both chains (not just in the pville locations) and have heard many things about food prep and cleaning. Lets just say I would choose jersey mikes over subway ANYDAY.

Cold subs, loud ambiance, unfriendly staff! There’s six (yes only six) subs that you can get hot. When I asked if they would heat a simple ham and cheese sub, the response was: «we don’t heat out cold subs!» Why not!!! There’s a microwave and a grill right there. Is it that much trouble? This place is no better than Subway. Wait — Subway will heat a sandwich for me! No thanks! I’ll stick to Lovettsville Pizza & Subs, Puccio’s, and Subway if I have to — anywhere buy here!!!

Apparently «Mike’s Way» also includes taking waaaaaay too long to serve customers, and comes with a side of sour-​faced staff. With 11 people ahead of us – and no crazy custom orders among them — it took 27 minutes to get through the line. That girl completing orders didn’t break her frown even once during our final visit.

Wasn’t really impressed at all. Originally I wanted a turkey & provolone sub, but since I’m pregnant I’m not supposed to have cold deli meats– so i asked if they could heat it for me. the guy said no! Seriously?! They won’t heat an item listed under «cold subs.» So I ordered the meatball sub, and it was ok. Not super tasty, nothing particularly special, just kind of meh… A little pricey too.

Finally a decent sub place in Pville other than Subway! I’ve been here a few times and the subs are fresh and the toppings plentiful. I usually get the #13 «Mikes Way» and it’s always good. They do put on lots of oil and vinegar so if you are you are going to save it for later you might want to skip this step or you’ll have soggy bread. I had a hot sub once and was not as impressed with it as the cold sub. The place is clean, there are several TVs and the staff is nice and friendly. I gave 4 stars and deducted for cost/​value (a tad pricey) and hot sandwiches that could have been better.
