They say they have a military discount but you’ll be hard pressed to get it even if you hand them your military id. I was in there once and the lil young guy working decided to read my whole military id out loud and question me on aspects he perceived he could dissect. I’ve been there a couple times that were cool but they’re phoney and disrespectful with vets. I can buy my booze at any one of the many other alcohol sales places and I will. You should avoid this place too.

Come on a beer cave complete with every taste of ale for everyone? I’m not a big drinker but I am gonna try each of the micro brews until I’ve found all my favs. The place is enormous and it has a pick your own 6er.

Don’t be fooled, store is absolutely gorgeous for a liquor store, however, ownership,(or at least I believe an owner anyway– she was a short, blonde, chubbier lady) belittling her employees in front of customers, and walking around like shes better than everyone, makes this place the trashiest in town. I really want to like this place because I love craft beer, but there are plenty of liquor stores that can get me what I want. I don’t know where they found the money to build such a nice place, but maybe they could invest some of that money in some sort of conference for employee relations and communication.

Over priced. Not so friendly staff. Made me feel uncomfortable when asking a question, like I was bothering them.

Huge selection and the beer cave is perfect on a hot day! Their prices are reasonable and the customer service has always been great with me. If buying wine be sure to ask them if they have it already chilled and most times they will grab one from the back already cold. Perfect on those last minute selections. Oh and be sure to sign up for their email and get invited to their tastings that happen pretty often.

Big Bear is my happy place. It’s like a candy story for adults. Adults who like to drink nice things. Huge selection of any kind of libation you could ever want, and a really great staff who can give you recommendations on just about any product or point you in the direction of a coworker who can. I really like that it’s newer and always super clean. Call me bougie, but I really don’t care for tiny, cramped, dingy spaces that seem to be the norm for liquor stores. I probably pay more for this opinion, but I’m choosing not to care. I like being with the beautiful people.

Big bear is certainly big, the selection is nearly unfathomable… But I always feel as though I’m in the liquor store equivalent of Walmart.

Huge selection, even had a rare beer I’d been looking for for some time. After finding that one, I wanted to try something new. Jacob put together 12 beers for me to try, and so far they’ve been excellent. I’m glad Big Bear has knowledgeable people on staff. Prices are a bit high, but I’m happy to pay them for the service!

Awesome wine selection! The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly! It was definitely worth the stop, even though it was out of our way.

Best liquor store I’ve found in Pueblo so far. I believe Jeff G. is a liar, can’t take a joke, or is too picky to please, as there is absolutely no way in hell any store would make you back-pay for something already purchased. They have a great selection of beer, wine, and spirits at good prices. Oh yeah, they have a drive through, too. So, they have that going for them. Which is nice.

I visited the store today and attempted to buy a four-pack of Redstone’s apricot mead which I have previously purchased for twenty-something dollars. When a sales associate directed me to the single cans which cost over ten dollars each, I asked if the price was correct. The manager came over, checked, and said it was correct so I declined the purchase, mentioning that I had previously bought the four-pack for less than thirty dollars. To this he rudely replied: «Well, it must have been marked wrong before, I’m gonna have to charge you for the mead you got free last time». To this, I say«Good luck with that sale Big Bear, you won’t be seeing me or anyone who will listen to me again». I’ve been an avid customer since shortly after they opened, they do have a good selection. But one obstinate salesperson, a manager no less, who takes their own mistakes out on their customers is all it takes to send my business elsewhere. There are far better places to find good beer and mead in Pueblo, try Hercules Liquor for one.
