Came in at around 4 pretty quite but good country music playing it reminded me of a small bar in Memphis. I had the slopper med rare. But no buts or whats it was put in med rare and i got a med rare slopper with green Chile. It was tasty i feel like its missing something. A lil salt? Or maybe i can put my finger on it but its tasty. The bar its self is clean but small and there is back patio and front patio as well. Well done

Sloppers and fries good. Lunch portions great. Service depends on waitress/waiter. Great for fundraisers and events. Love the bar for night caps and conversations.

It’s official. The burgers are now horrible. Used to be the best burgers in town, hands down. Not sure what happened. Burgers are much thinner and drier and the bun has changed. It’s sad. Will not eat there again. Also, they are way overpriced for what you get.

This is my type of bar! Friendly staff, cheap beer, and free peanuts and popcorn. The out side looks almost western style, but cozy. Like some place you can sit out and people watch all day… Or at least that’s what I and my buddies would do. Inside is standard for a bar but a little space and light. Overall, I really loved this place and can’t wait until I am back in Colorado to enjoy it

We were searching for a place to get out of the cold after watching East High go back to back and we stumbled across Gold Dust off Union. We were greeted immediately and had a table with free popcorn and peanuts. That won my wife over. We ordered a burger and a slopper, the wait was minimal. There was plenty of food and the quality was great. Those hamburgers are very good, not oily or greasy. I enjoyed the slopper a lot, it is neck and neck between here and Coors for my favorite. Overall, our experience was positive and I have no complaints.

Recently ate here. Took 20 minutes to get acknowledged. Staff was not friendly when they did come to our table. They brought us the wrong order and tried to tell us that is what we ordered. They finally found our order and it was not hot.

Food is good. Service was not. Took ten minutes to get a refill on drinks and we were a party of two with only 4 other tables. Good atmosphere.

I recently attended a retirement party at the Gold Dust and have previously been there for lunch and drinks. It’s a «townie» sort of place where you get to toss peanut shells on the floor and most drinks(read: domestic beer) are available in the requisite Schooner. I appreciate that it is an LGBT-owned business but it is clear that this is about the farthest cry from a gay bar there ever was. Food at the retirement party was a nacho bar, and the quality was typical Sysco. The service was spotty, but kudos to our server for keeping track with all of the cocktail orders and splitting checks — always a nice touch. The Inspector Gadget handheld things they use to key in orders seem to work very nicely for this purpose but were something I hadn’t seen since travelling to Europe a few years back. Clearly, this isn’t your average 19th century saloon… Would I go back? Maybe. They seem to accommodate large groups well, and service is pretty standardly friendly, but there doesn’t seem to be anything special about this place to me. Your mileage may vary.

Great atmosphere and well kept, decorated. Cool little bar. Stopped in for lunch as I had heard about the slopper. Not my favorite. Not by a long shot. «Chili» and«chile» tasted like out of a can. Burger average. Fries pretty good though.

Their little Palm things they use for orders are annoying and a distraction. I think they lose more money with rude waitresses then they make as a whole.

Great place. The Beer was cold and although the place quickly filled up, we never felt cramped and the service was excellent. I am no longer a «slopper virgin» and although I have no basis for comparison, it was great. I went with the ¼ pounder with red sauce and smothered fries. I couldn’t finish. Recommend passing on the fries, unless you are a typical teenager who could get through the whole thing easily.

Service was good and friendly. Food hit the spot. My wife is pretty picky about burgers and she was pleased. I had the single slopper and should’ve got the double. I’ll stop in again next time I’m in Pueblo.

The sloppers aren’t the best in town, but they are still pretty darn good. The two waiters that we’ve had over and over are both very good, but with very different styles. Don’t get put off by the guy who is all business-he doesn’t write anything down, but gets every order right. Then there’s the talkative guy who remembers you, and always gets your order right also. The food is consistent and the atmosphere is casual. The patio is wonderful on a summer evening. Who could ask for anything better?

Went here for my first«Slopper». It was great! Green Chili sloppers served open face, in a pie tin. Basically its a burger, with a pork green chili poured over it, with cheese and onions. You can also get your fries drowned in the deliciousous green chili. I’ve also eaten at Coors Tavern, and didn’t find it to be as good. I make my own green chili sauce, so I have certain expectations. It’s a cool atmosphere, and its in old town Pueblo to boot. Grab a Slopper & a beer, then go wander old towns shops!

The food here is average. Burgers, the requisite slopper, etc… The atmosphere is mountain cowboy. The service is pretty good and generally reasonably quick.

Great spot to sit on the front porch in good weather. Food is average. I still like to go to the Gold Dust — well worth a visit.

Not a bad place. The food was average. My husband loved the red chile soup. The margaritas were great!

been going here since i was a kid. total greasy spoon with really good hamburgers. not sure why i felt the need to cram in a visit filled with a bacon cheeseburger with fries amidst a holiday eating binge, but it was so worth it. this place is tacky as hell, but the food is good. aaaand they have sloppers, need i say more. if you don’t know what a slopper is, then you can’t afford it.
