This is a very affordable option for food around this specific area. The quality of the food is good as is its price. The facility is small and the service isn’t the fastest but after you’ve finish your meal you will be quite pleased.

It was super cold and rainy the day we went, so it wasn’t the most comfortable meal. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the service was a little slow because there were only 2 people serving but lots of full tables. My friend and I both ordered beef phở, and my daughter had the chicken. We also ordered the salad rolls. Everything was totally worth the wait. The broth for both the beef and chicken was SOGOOD. Rich and flavorful, and they don’t skimp on the noodles or meat! The salad rolls were very fresh, and the peanut sauce was outstanding — I could drink it! Definitely worth the bit of wait and discomfort. If it’s cold and rainy, just be sure to bundle up.

The service was offensive. The Avocado smoothy was decent and convenient since my family and I were exploring the Portland Saturday Market, but I will NEVER go back. Not only did he serve the people who ordered after me before me, but then my drink was shorted so he could give those customers a taste of their avocado smoothy… my avocado smoothy that I patiently waited 10+ minutes for and paid for! I tried to talk to the young man about it, but could never get his attention. I can and have ignored bad service for good food. But this guy was also unsanitary. Making«fresh fruit» smoothies while handling cash, fussing with his hair, scooping ice with his bare hands, and never washing them. No thanks, there are plenty of great alternatives near by, and many great Phở places in Portland. This place left a very bad taste in my mouth.

We came by here while visiting the Saturday market for a snack. We had a bun mi also known as a Vietnamese sandwich and salad wraps and weren’t disappointed. Staff were very friendly and food was great!

I gave 5 because it’s 4 ½. Wish they served cilantro but otherwise this phở is awesome. Good flavorful broth, lots of meat that is still medium rare when it comes out(how it should be.), noodles are just chewy enough. And it’s super cheap($ 9 for beef phở and strawberry bubble tea.!) Used whole real strawberries and yogurt I think for my bubble tea. No weird syrup stuff. If I lived in Portland I would come here all the time. Plus it’s kind of a cool spot, like inside an old garage, one of the doors is open right now and it’s beautiful.

This is a decent place to grab some phở. It is convenient especially for those checking out the Saturday Market. I have had better phở elsewhere, but it was a cold day when I came in so I was truly thankful for the warmth. The owner(I am assuming) was a sweet old man who immediately offered me some tea on the house when he noticed I was shivering. The price is very good, especially considering their location. I will not hesitate to go back if I were back in the area.

I’m lucky to live in Los Angeles where there is a lot of good phở and other Vietnamese food. As such, I was fairly disappointed in the greasy and mostly bread pork banh mi sandwich I ordered. $ 3.50 was a nice price, but it really only had a few pieces of meat in it and a couple of slices of carrot, and was otherwise just a roll. So, I ate my $ 3.50 roll with lots of sriracha and called it a day, indulging also in my $ 4 avocado boba smoothie(which was a bit better, at 3 stars). As for ambiance, this place is pretty dingy but is in a good location near the water and local shops. And, the service, though lazy, is friendly enough – although a bit odd. In fact, the dude at the counter told me after the fact that, «the avocado smoothies are usually better, but our avocados are too ripe today.» Hmm, great… that would have been helpful at the time of ordering or not at all. A little weird. Bottom line: Truly meh banh mi, only an ok avocado smoothie, and strange customer service. Still, I would possibly go back to try the phở, as other reviews seem to imply that might be their strength.

My husband and I wandered into this restaurant when we were walking through the Saturday Market… and he was eager to try some phở in Portland. The restaurant was pretty bare bones with 3 – 4 tables and a counter to order your meal. My husband ordered a phở combination(with everything). The broth was overly sweet… He finished the noodles but didn’t eat any of the meatballs. 2 stars. He’s had phở at so many different places that this one just wasn’t up to par with the some of the others…

Was in Portland during Labor Day weekend and saw this place while walking around the Market. I ordered some shrimp spring rolls and a vermicelli bowl; my friend ordered phở. It took almost 20 minutes just for my spring rolls and my friend had to wait another 15 – 20 for her phở!!! Phở NEVER takes that long! I had considered cancelling my bowl ordeer but it was just about done by the time I asked the cashier about it, so I asked to make it to-go because we had to meet up with the rest of my group. I’m never coming back to this place! On the plus side, the spring rolls were good.

Real fruit ingredients on bubble teas. You can also mix and match the ingredients if you ask for it(i.e.: mango /banana, strawberry/kiwi, or whatever suits your delight.) My favorite is plain avocado bubble tea. They don’t seem to have the jelly additions like in other places, but it’s okay, the tapioca pearls are enough for me. I’ve been here 4 times for my bubble tea cravings when I go to downtown Portland. Today, I decided to sit down and tried the phở chicken. Not bad at all for a $ 5 bowl. The broccoli and bean sprouts are fresh. I also had a mango bubble tea made with real fresh fruit. I am energized again after the meal. I then decided to have a to-go order and ordered vermicelli noodles with shrimp which came with 2 delicious eggrolls. A tiny Vietnamese eatery with very, very casual atmosphere. A two-person kind of eatery… mother does the cooking, son does the serving and cashiering… so don’t expect fine service but they are okay. It can sit about 20 people. While I was eating, a young woman transient asked for a glass of water. The lady owner asked her if she wants to eat. The young woman said she has no money. The owner(bless her heart), asked her to sit down, and gave her a plate of rice and veggies. Pretty soon, she was joined by a couple of young men who shared her meal. Phở TNT is located on the first floor of the building by the Ankeny Arcade where the Saturday Market is held every weekend. Easily accessible by MAX blue and red line trains. Open everyday, but only until 5pm.

What a disappointment! My phở ga was extraordinarily bland, like they just used canned chicken broth and dumped some noodles, chicken and broccoli in it. The sprouts and chili sauce looked so unpalatable that I declined to use them in my soup. An order of Vietnamese espresso only 1⁄3 filled the cup — even with ice. The place was messy, nobody was bussing tables. My table had no sticks, spoons nor napkins. Avoid. You can do better.

This is my new go-to phở spot when I’m downtown. It’s family-owned/operated and everything is freshly made. I love the phở ga because the broth is not salty, it’s mellow and savory. It has fried garlic and broccoli in it. The beef soups have been consistently great, too. A small bowl of fresh soup for $ 5? I’m hooked!

DONOTEATHERE. I’d advise against going here as a health precaution. We tried this place at lunch on a Saturday in early September. Our shrimp rolls contained shrimp that was extremely fishy tasting, as if it had been sitting around for ages. After a few bites, we could no longer eat it. The lettuce in the rolls was brown. The fish sauce didn’t taste right, as if it were old too. Aside from the rolls, my son ordered beef bun. It, too, was not good. And we both had bad stomach problems all day after we ate here. This is the worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to. And I’ve been to a lot.

This place is a complete hole in the wall but everything I have had here is delicious, authentic and fresh. They even make their bubble tea with real ingredients and not a powder like most places in Portland and I’m pretty sure they even use sugar cane to sweeten. To top it off the prices are very reasonable.

Let me put it this way… I come here weekly! I love this place! I always order the small flank steak Phở. Sometimes I get a side of egg rolls. I always tell myself that I am going to try something new but I just can’t seem to change it up. It doesn’t have the best atmosphere but who cares when it is family owned and has great food right? Check this place out next time you have a Phở craving. You will not be disappointed!

All we got here was the Thai Tea — but they have a choice spot during the Portland Saturday Market that showcases bands right out in front of their spot! Good times!

I work in the building above this restaurant, and my colleagues and I are pretty enthusiastic about the Phở for lunch($ 5). The service is very quick and friendly, and the Phở is perfect. I recommend it!

It’s cold so I don’t want to walk outside for very long and I want something warm. Getting phở from Phở TNT fit the bill. The chill outside is only kept out by a thin retractable window. This will be awesome if they open it up in the summer, but in the winter their space heaters are in a losing battle. The beef phở($ 6.45) was plentiful, but not all that flavorful. I was surprised at how little beef there was. It’s the first time I’ve dumped the contents of my plum sauce container into my phở(it helped). But I still can’t wait to spent my Summer lunch breaks there if they open those doors.
