Pricy. The place is outstanding and just out of words. The golf courses and the beach around brings up the place. The service is fabulous. Gone for 17 mile drive early in the morning and had Breakfast here. The food was nice and decent.

It’s weird to say that the best club sandwich I’ve ever had is from a café at a golf course, but it makes more sense when I say it’s from Pebble Beach. Not«just» a golf course, I’ve learned. They offer a huge variety of lunch options, but the Killer Klub is the thing to get here. Dave’s Killer Bread(the best IMO), turkey, bacon, avo, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Perfect to fuel a long afternoon of driving the golf cart ;)

Service here is great and the food is amazing. I had the marinated skirt steak salad with cilantro-lime vinaigrette and it was to die for. It is by far one of the best salads I’ve ever had. My boyfriend got a BBQ sandwich, which was also very delicious. Will definitely return to have lunch there. I’m excited to try more items on their menu.

Conveniently located to have breakfast before golf. Didn’t look fancy or pretty, but fruits with yogurt was pretty tasty. Southwestern Omelet wasn’t too bad, either. However, for whatever reason, my cappuccino took forever! I thought they forgot. I had to ask again.

it was surprising to have such poor, slow service at such an expensive restaurant. the staff meant well but failed to bring out silverware till asked, mixed up the omelets so we started to eat the wrong ones. the cinammon bun was excellent and decadent. nice spot overlooking the putting green.

Perfect lunch spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Towards the end of the 17 Miles Drive when coming from Carmel side. It’s near the parking lot so you can find it right away. The restaurant has a nice view of the golf course and ocean. The service was good. Absolutely loved the fish tacos! The tilapia was nicely seasoned and loved that it was served warm inside of toasted flour tortillas. The guacamole could’ve been better but the salsa was good that came with the dish. There’s a flavorful chipotle sauce that was tasty, too. My friend enjoyed her ultimate burger. The rosemary garlic fries didn’t taste garlicky but was still good. Highly RECOMMEND the fish tacos! Best I’ve had!

We arrived for lunch. Gentleman that sat us brought our water. Indicated our waitress was too busy to take our order even though not crowded. So he did, he brought our food, filled our drinks. The waitress finally showed up when she wanted our money. Hopefully he got our tip since she was very hospitable and served the patrons all around us.

I loved this restaurant! My guy and I were in Monterey for the weekend this past weekend and after a fun night at Cannery Row, we headed to Pebble Beach. After a few stops on the 17 mile drive, we ended up at the Pebble Beach resort for lunch. We had eaten at the Tap Room many times, so we decided to try something different and were glad we did! While the Tap Room is still one of our favorite places, The Gallery Café was excellent as well! We were seated outside on the veranda as requested and were immediately approached by Santos for our drink order. Awesome! Next up, Michael, our waiter, came over to see if we had any questions. We needed a few more minutes and he was capable and understood and came back once we closed our menus. He was an excellent waiter! I ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap and it was fantastic! It came with a side salad and everything was so fresh. My guy ordered the cobb salad and he said it was terrific. The ambience of eating outside was just excellent. We overlooked the area where the golfers were practicing putting and my boyfriend could see golfers teeing off from the first hole from his seat. Our food arrived quickly, Michael checked back on us, Santos kept our glasses full… what more could we ask for? We will be back! A++++++ job!

Food is fantastic, but the service does not match the food rating. After reviewing my most recent credit card statement, it turns out that I was billed not only for my meal, but for another charge on the same day. Not very happy with the customer service experience.

Food was decent. Definitely not worth the prices. Server wasn’t very good either. Out of our hour being there we saw him twice.

The food was all right, probably around 3.5 stars, but the service is what really knocked this one down. My friend and I wanted to stop during 17 Mile Drive to grab lunch, and seeing that this restaurant would refund the $ 10 entrance fee, we parked nearby and requested a table. No one came to assist us to a table, so after awkwardly standing around for a while, we just seated ourselves. Even though the restaurant was not busy at all(there were only about 3 – 4 other occupied tables), no one came to take our order until about 15 minutes later. The food didn’t come for another 20. Our waiter disappeared after he took our order, so we had to chase down another one to refill water/get ketchup/get the check. The baja chicken sandwich was pretty good — the bread was soft, and the aioli complimented the meat/avocado/veggies. The chicken quesadilla was decent; I’ve definitely had better. The guacamole didn’t taste anything like guacamole though, and the fries were really thin and tasted overcooked and bland. For the price of the food here(around $ 16 per sandwich and 16 – 20 for other entrees), you might be better off bringing your own lunch and having a picnic on the gorgeous Spanish Bay or Pebble Beach. The food isn’t bad at all, and the balcony views on a nice day are stunning with the gold course and seaside, but the service is what really gives this place a hit.

Full menu of your standard breakfast items and everything was good from the omelets to the crisp bacon and toast. I would downgrade the pancakes because they tasted too much like the grill they were cooked on. Friendly staff and quick service.

What a great spot for lunch! The best thing about this place is the balcony and views of the greens and the beach. It got a tiny bit chilly but a seaside lunch at the most beautiful golf course in America made it all worth it. I had the club sandwich and fries and and iced tea. The portions are very generous and big enough to share. The service is actually pretty slow, which is why I only gave this place four stars instead of 5. If you’re taking in the 17 Mile Drive, and are a fan of gorgeous scenery, this is a perfect place to stop for lunch. If you bring your receipt from the gate you get a nice discount off your lunch tab!

We had the ultimate burger, which was amazing because of all the toppings, but in the end the burger was slightly overcooked(well done), which made it more cumbersome to enjoy and finish. We also got the spicy BBQ whiskey sliders, which were delicious even though they weren’t spicy enough. By far, the onion rings are the way to go for sides. The onion rings are flavorful, light, and tasty. The salad is nothing special, though. Good view, but bring sunscreen if you’re going to eat on the balcony.

So this is the most visible of all the restaurants in the Pebble Beach lodge area. The food doesn’t suck. The design and management of the place does suck. a lot. The hostess? sat us down, and handed us a menu. And a male waiter took our drink order. About five minutes later, a lady waiter asked us what we would like to drink. again. And at this time the male waiter was already bringing us the drinks. And this repetition and waiters bumping into each other and lapping the same things over and over again, as we soon find out, happens continuously. THEWAITERSDONOTKNOWWHATTHEY’REDOING! So we waited for our food. I’m looking and doing the bobbing head thing to watch what’s going on. So the cooks are displayed right smack in the middle of the restaurant, and they seem to know what they’re doing. The waiters are so funny though. They would pick up the plate, act confused and put the plate back down. Pretty soon, the orders were backed up, just waiting to be distributed to customers. And I see my food right there(I ordered sliders and I could see they were just sitting there.) We called the lady waiter and asked for our food, and she said. yeah, we’re looking for it right now. But they’re not. They are just kinda chit chatting with each other, these waiters. Very confused and disorganized. I watched my food again for the next ten minutes from afar. By the time it got to my table, it was cold. It’s ridiculous too, that right where the waiters are supposed to pick up the food, they put a table full of customers right there. making it hard for these confused waiters to pick up the food. So I told my husband, «we ARENOT leaving a tip. It’s a statement so they will understand that this is unacceptable.» They charge $ 15 for sandwiches for goodness sakes! Geez, if I’m paying a premium for something that’s worth a third of what I pay for, I expect good service. The food is not amazing, but it’s ok. It was just cold. And their garlic rosemary fries. they’re lying. I saw nor tasted garlic nor rosemary. It’s just fries. like good olé Mickey D’s fries. LIARS! false advertising.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Gallery Café. Everything was solid and incredibly flavorful. Service was outstanding and the views are magnificent. Panoramic ocean views of Stillwater Cove and impressive views of the Pebble Beach Golf Course. We are very sad to have discovered this place right before an imminent move for my boyfriend. We are coming back in this week — date already set– before my boyfriend’s move. He said we would be coming in here every Sunday if he’d known about it sooner. I read Kyle F’s review before coming in and I must concur that the milkshakes here are amazing. They have all your standard milkshake flavors — chocolate chip, strawberry, mint chip and vanilla — plus a special flavor of the month. They whipped me up an off-the-menu shake flavor — oreo cookie. Notice how I launched right into the milkshakes first lol. My boyfriend said it was the best oreo cookie shake he’s ever tasted. Ice cream is house-made and so delicious. Milkshakes are blended to the creamiest consistency and devoid of big chunks, all without sacrificing flavor. It was the quistessential milkshake! The Fish Tacos were fantastic with perfectly grilled tilapia; comes with house-made guacomole and salsa. My boyfriend had the Gourmet Grilled Cheese on brioche bread with rosemary-garlic fries. Bacon, cheddar, blue cheese and tomatoes on the fluffiest, lightest and buttery brioche bread. The fries were wonderful too, not too overwhelming with garlic. Everything was exceptional! I have the next date locked into my calendar for this week. Counting down the days!

I go to this place each time after we gold at pebble beach, so give or take its about once or twice a year… mostly cause the food is pretty good and its right bythe 18th hole… oh ya and they have some of the best milkshakes on the planet(easily a 5 star milkshake… even Ciara would be jealous). After a long day of golf in crummy weather this is a nice place to relax at and wind down with some good food. When my dad and I eat there its usually around lunch time and I mainly go cause they have a crazy good philly cheese steak sandwich, which I have gotten for the last 5 or 6 years… I mean why mess with what’s good. This time I was ready to try something new though, and only one thing on this menu stood out and was worth the departure from the kick ass cheese steak sandwich. Honestly, Im blanking on the name of this place, but my friend who I sent a picture of it to, gave it a nice one the«enough calories to feed the entire planets model population.» It was sooo damn good. The burger was on a pretzel roll and it had in it… two slices of super thick Tillamook cheese, followed by 4 strips of bacon, followed by about 5 onion rings, and then as if it could get any better… freaking slow roasted bbq pulled pork!!! Im pretty sure I messed myself the moment this think was set down in front of me. I mean this burger is what dreams are made of, the only issue, and I mean the only one, is that you need a mouth the size of a whale shark to take a bite of this monster burger. I finally just decided to go for it and it was one of the best burgers I had in my life so far, I mean the crunch of the bacon and onion rings and not to mention the sweetness of the pulled pork with the rich cheese, this burger took all that was awesome in life and placed it in one convenient area! Overall, this place has great food, great shakes and the only knock on them is the service kind of sucks and is slow, but the food makes up for it, plus your in pebble beach and it can’t get much better than this! So after you’ve hit the links, hit up this place for a great meal.

I’m no golfer. In fact, for the most part, I detest the sport. Not because dudes dress funny and spend their precious time whacking a little ball around trying to find a hole but mostly for the pollution caused by tons of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides to keep that beautiful turf green. But there aren’t a lot of places to stop along the breathtaking 17-Mile Drive and the Gallery Café is one of the few. So we stopped for a coffee and a bite to eat and found ourselves perched above a putting green with an overlook of the rocky Pacific ocean on an absolutely glorious day. And while some funny dressed dudes quietly putted about the green below us, we had some very good fish ‘n chips with excellent potato fries and slaw to munch while hobnobbing with the other local elite diners or Joe-Schmo tourists like us. Come July/August, we’d probably be sneered upon but today, in mid-winter, we found great seats, friendly service, a delicious affordable lunch and a great view. And that’s all I cared about.
