We came here for my birthday breakfast last year and the staff made sure we had an amazing experience. We were greeted by menus with a birthday message on the top for me and an incredible view of the golf course from our table. Not only was the staff friendly, but all the other patrons were just happy and relaxed, which made for a great atmosphere for the meal. I had the cinnamon crumble french toast with had wonderful crunchy crumbles and was topped with sweet cinnamon vanilla whipped cream. It was light and fluffy and sinfully sweet. Our amazing waiter brought out a chocolate cake to celebrate which was topped with fresh berries and left me wanting more. Thank you, Stillwater, for an unforgettable birthday breakfast! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Pebble Beach!

Decided to try the Sunday brunch. Views of the 18th green and stillwater cove, and service were exceptional. Unfortunately, variety of the food and attitude of the reservations staff was deplorable at best. Omelette station is gone, and what is left of the Sunday brunch is a carb heavy and sugar laden food menu. Some items on the menu were truely delicious, unfortunately the vast majority were mediocre and dripping with sugar, with hardly two egg dishes provided, one of which tasted quiet bad. «Liz,» from the reservation staff, loves to project her rudeness and cut guests off while they are speaking, making the reservation process extremely unpleasant. Unprofessional employees should under no condition be representing the Pebble Beach establishments. I was also charged twice for my meal, which the manager promptly and quickly rectified. In future stays, we will be avoiding the mediocre brunch provided by Stillwater Bar and Grill.

We just celebrated our wedding anniversary at Stillwater Bar and Grill for at least the 10th time. There is no place quite like it — the view of golfers finishing their rounds on the 18th hole, the gorgeous Stillwater Cove, and beautiful, pristine Pebble Beach. We love it! This visit was extra special. The cuisine is always delicious, but we received a surprise treat when Chef Jeremy visited our table and brought us one of his creations — not on the menu! It was a delicious Asian fusion appetizer featuring grape tomato, trout caviar, sprouts, and a fantastic sauce. He made us feel extra special on this evening. Thank you, Chef Jeremy! You are a terrific ambassador for Pebble Beach!!!

Ate here for lunch. Sat outside on the balcony with a great view of the sea and 18th hole. Not pretentious and you don’t feel like you have to be dressed up. Everything about the place is what you expect from a fine establishment and the history of the building, the area, walking around inside is great. The group had two salads and oysters, on a crystal clear day in the shade. Waiters were attentive and friendly and just got on with their jobs. Don’t be put off by the price and if you have an early lunch, before the crowds really arrive, you can relax a lot and shop afterwards. Looking forward to going back.

We had a fantastic Anniversary lunch here. The service was impeccable, the views of the ocean were breathtaking, and the food was so good! Would recommend the Fish and Chips! They were the best I’ve ever tasted! Was a wonderful experience!

Great restaurant and excellent view. Minus a star for the extraordinary slow service here. However, waiter Anthony was wonderful. He was not only very helpful but very nice and happy to help us in a quick and timely manner.

I took my son to Sunday Brunch at Stillwater and it was wonderful. My favorite was the eggs Benedict, but he enjoyed everything.

We scoped out the neighboring restaurant but decided to dine in their main lobby area for lunch, which was serviced by Stillwater. We chose a table right by the window with views to the ocean and golf course. At the time we sat down, there wasn’t anyone else having lunch so it was nice and quiet and it felt super private. It was also a beautiful day so we felt as if we’d scored. 30 – 40 minutes later, the joint was packed. My husband ordered the turkey club sandwich with fries and I ordered the fish tacos. My husband loved the turkey club but didn’t realize it was a triple decker sammy so he had to remove one of the pieces of bread. If we had known or looked more closely, we would’ve asked them to remove. It’s just easier to eat that way. He really enjoyed the sandwich and ate the whole thing. Bread was toasted perfectly and he asked for light condiments(mayo, mustard) and they added just the right amount. I really enjoyed the fish tacos too but was pretty disappointed that there wasn’t anything on the side. Just two fish tacos served with ONE lime slice. It would’ve been nice to have at least two slices of lime and something crunchy on the side but that’s just me. For the price of it($ 20+), you would think so. Service after our food was brought to the table was so slow. We weren’t in any hurry but we wanted a refresh of our iced tea and water and wanted to order a few lattes after our meal but it was hard to get our waitress. I wondered if it was because she was waiting tables in the restaurant as well? But, it was a little annoying as we had to track her down to get lattes and then later track her down to get our check and then track her down again to give her our card. She should’ve given US a tip! ;)

Came in for a nice breakfast and Anthony was so attentive. I ordered homemade granola with yogurt, fruit orange juice water and coffee. He constantly refilled my drinks and then he asked if I would like some more yogurt I said«No I’m ok!» He said ok will not do, ok is 5 out of 10. I appreciate the attentiveness and desire to get a great and 10out of 10. He was friendly attentive and did not impose while I read.

The service here is amazing. I really appreciate how attentive all the servers here. I just came here for brunch and it was $ 66 per person on Sunday. It’s a buffet with high quality food. I am lactose intolerant and the kitchen staff adjusted their recipes for me. I would highly recommend coming here. The view is amazing too.

Don’t hate on this place because it’s expensive! Lol it’s located on a golf course in pebble beach. In my opinion it was less expensive then I though it would be. Only $ 200 for 2 people for dinner. Food was out of this world. I have had a lot of good food in my life but this place honestly has every where else beat by a mile. I hated abalone until I tried it here. It was so tender and perfectly executed. All the flavors worked in harmony, the scallops and halibut were undeniably perfectly prepared. Even the Caesar salad was perfection. Our server Jorge was very informative and stayed on top of everything. This place is a must try when in the area. I can’t wait to come back.

The food and scenery from the patio of the Stillwater Bar and Grill in the Lodge at Pebble Beach combined to produce a fabulous experience at this mecca of American golf. My wife totally enjoyed the Open-Faced Maine Lobster Salad Sandwich. Although the lobster salad carried a Pebble Beach price of 31 bills, the amount of claw and tail meat piled high on a slice of Sourdough was nothing short of amazing. It rated as high as any meal she had during our week on the Coast. My lunch was not as indulgent as the wife’s and consisted of the Baja Style Fish Tacos. At less than 20 bucks, the Taco plate also turned out to be excellent. High prices for sure but you come here to pay homage to the greats who have played the game of golf on these fairways… and to do it over a delicious lunch on the patio overlooking the 18th green… well that is living. 5-Stars.

********************* 1295 ********************** The best thing about this Stillwater Bar & Grill is that you don’t have to stay at The Lodge to dine here. We came in for brunch, but they stopped serving at 11AM, why so early? Who gets up that early on the weekend??? The server already told us «The chef is very difficult, he can’t make you brunch now, because if he does, other tables will request the same thing!» I was shocked to hear she talks crap about chef, that is not cool at all. You DONOT disrespect the chef. She should have said something along this line: the kitchen is already served lunch, we can’t accommodate your request at this time! I mean how hard it is to reword it? We settled for lunch. We were seated promptly, with the window view of the breathtaking view of the Golf Links and ocean view. It was a beautiful day. We ordered the clam chowder $ 18, ouch, but what do I expect right? It’s Pebble Beach and the view alone was worth it. The first bowl came out with green thread in the bowl, they took to the kitchen and they replaced with another bowl. The clam chowder was delicious and a lot of clams in it. We also ordered the Kale Salad and Warm Asparagus Salad, both were fresh and good. Service by another server later, I believe his name was Nathan, he was nicer than the first lady and took off the clam chowder bowl because of the incident earlier. We appreciate him for that.

I was fortunate enough to be invited for the sunday brunch buffet. When I first heard it was going to be a buffet, I wasn’t sure what to expect… maybe the typical eggs, bacon, bagels, etc. Then again, this is Pebble Beach so those expectations were a bit higher obviously. First thing you notice, the AMAZING views of the 18th hole and the ocean! It basically looked like a freakin post card! UNREAL! We sat outside, had some bloody mary’s(good and spicy), and then we made our way to the food. Sure enough, there were the basics, eggs benedict with bacon and turkey, scramble, bacon, bagels, pastries, and then you walk further back. That’s where the good stuff was at! Scallops, jumbo prawns on a bed of ice, sweet water oysters, crab claws, lamb, steak, smoked salmon. OK, i’m salivating while I’m writing this. Don’t skip out on the little dessert table either!!! I tried eating my moneys worth, but its almost impossible. Had to roll me out of there after my 4th plate! :X I’d definitely come back again! I would’ve taken and posted some pictures, but I was too busy stuffing my face!

We picked the absolute worst time to come to Pebble Beach. Right after the famous ProAm, so we missed all the excitement. But soon enough after that views of the 18th hole were blocked by the enormous temporary structures they built to deal with the tournament. Luckily, Stillwater still has booze. We relaxed in some gigantic leather chairs by the actual wood fire, and drank hot chocolate spiked with various types of liquor. If you don’t think that’s a good time, I don’t want to hang out with you.

There’s no denying that the views are beautiful from Stillwater Bar & Grill. Located at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, this was one of our stops along the scenic 17-Mile Drive. We dropped in for appetizers before hitting the road to explore Carmel. Monterey Bay Crispy Calamari: A medley of fried calamari slices, fried green beans, fried artichokes, and fried lemons — yes, fried lemons. Instead, I would’ve preferred a side of lemon wedges to squeeze over the fried calamari and veggies. The order comes also with creamy, mild chipotle dipping sauce. Hamachi Tiradito: A plate of five thinly sliced, fresh fish topped with soy pearls and slices of jalapeño. Refreshing, especially with the hint of lime. Considering the location and the clientele this restaurant serves, the level of professionalism was nothing less than what I’d expect at such an establishment. Stillwater isn’t a large restaurant, so if you want dine while overlooking the gorgeous views, you might have to book a reservation in advance. Most of the empty seats that we wanted were already reserved.

A restaurant located at the Pebble Beach Lodge, overlooking the 18th hole. If you are doing the 17-mile drive and don’t feel like driving to Carmel for lunch, Stillwater Grill is a good option. Be warned that you will be paying a premium for the view however. I’m borderline between three to four stars. Our group of four ordered a few dishes to share. The Monterrey Bay calamari was very good — lightly breaded and came with fried artichoke hearts, potato wedges, green beans, and even lemon! Chipotle mayo added a nice kick! I ordered the sirloin burger cooked medium with provolone cheese — very juicy and flavorful. Side of garlic fries was thick cut and well seasoned –not at all greasy. The big disappointment was the seafood paella. A very pricey dish at just above $ 30, but it can feed two. I sampled a few bites and the rice seemed a bit undercooked — more chew and grainier than expected. Fish chunks were good, but my wife didn’t like the mussels — it didn’t seem fresh for her. Based on the paella, 2-stars. However burger and calamari deserve 4-stars so I think 3 stars is fair. I do think the view is very nice though!

We enjoyed a table for two overlooking the 18th green the Saturday evening before the Concours. It was such a pleasure. We split the Caesar salad and cheese plate. Both were exceptionally fresh and of great quality. The cheese plate had an amazing brie, a truffled goat cheese and a white cheddar. Each was spectacular and complimented perfectly by the dried strawberries and apricots, fresh apple slices and spiced nuts. We split the olive oil chocolate cake for dessert while enjoying the amazing view of the ocean and the folks prepping for the Concours events. Service was outstanding — friendly, attentive and unintrusive.
