Great place to grab a burger. It’s a bar with pub food. Plus it’s fairly affordable. So you don’t have to re-finance your house to eat here. The menu with prices is posted outside of the doors. Hubs and I came here on a weekday after 2 pm. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries ~ $ 18 and a green salad ~ $ 10. Both were delicious. The brioche bun was grilled a bit which I like vs a cold bun. ;) The patty is a fair size and cooked perfectly to our request of well done. The restaurant had plenty of TVs for our viewing pleasure. Of course the golf channel was on and another sports channel. The wood paneled walls are lined with trophies and awards from the early 1900s. It was kinda neat to see a women’s winner list plaque from the 1920s. The winners were listed by their husbands name, Mrs John«so and so». Oh… how times have changed. The view is of the small putting area and storefronts. I would definitely come back again. Note to self is to try their famous Southern coconut cake.

A perfect ending after a magical round of golf on Pebble Beach. Have the burger, man is this a great one. A Nice cold beer from a solid selection is just what the doctor ordered. Take a walk down memory lane with classic old tournament trophies on the wall from the early 1900’s.

Ah Pebble Beach Golf Course! A destination of mine for a long time so I was glad to get a chance to eat here. After a morning of no power in the area, PB was the only place with power. We were starving after doing most of the 17 mile drive, so we stopped in here. We were seated right away with a view of the putters perfecting their game. The menu is upscale bar food, at least in my book. There were salads, such as crab louis, mango and chicken, etc. Boyfriend and I chose sandwiches cause we were starving. I got the gruyère chicken melt and he had the turkey club minus the extra bread in the middle. Our food came out fast and our drinks were always refilled. My chicken melt could have fed two people. It was huge! Gruyère, onions and chicken – greasy goodness! The fries were addicting as others have said. BF ate up his club pretty fast. I enjoyed it immensely so I’d come back! We forgot to use our receipt for admission so don’t forget that!

A friend of mine suggested that we try the Tap Room while in Monterrey if we were planning on doing the 17-mile drive. So we made sure to stop here along our drive. We walked in and it was very dark and looks like what I would imagine would be an old gentleman’s lounge back in the day, however I did not feel unwelcome. We were greeted by the hostess and told we could sit anywhere. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was very nice and helpful. They had a decent selection of craft beers on tap. I wanted to try their house beer so the bartender(I feel bad I forgot his name, I should have written this review sooner) offered me a sample. It was good but not really what I was looking for so I chose the Ninkasi Stout. The lunch menu had many good lunch options. I kept eyeing the Kobe burger but I was thinking to myself, «Do I really want a $ 30 burger for lunch?» Well I decided to splurge and go for it and boy am I glad I did, it was AMAZING! It came with a side of potato wedges with truffle oil. The burger was so flavorful and juicy and cooked perfectly. My husband had a french dip which he said he was ok but that he wouldn’t say it was one of the best he’s had. He didnt think the meat had a lot of flavor and he didnt care for the bun it came on. It was a nice place, with good beer and I love my food. So if we’re around we’d be open to coming back.

Honestly, one of my Top 10 Restaurants. Service was impeccable. I wish I could remember his name but he made some great recommendations, even had a special dish made up because we wanted to try«a little of this and a little of that». Filet Mignon was to die for. Very casual atmosphere but one of the best meals I’ve ever experienced. Make a reservation!

This place is all about where you are. You pay for the location, and it’s fun to visit. It’s kind of dark, with a minimal view, but still fun to go and just grab a drink.

We have never had a bad experience and that means that if something is not right they make it right one way or the other and with a smile. been here many times. We enjoy bartender Michael and had the Tap room sunday ½ with a little Bailey’s and some great wine he recommended. He always puts a smile on our face. Thx is full of comfort food offerings and it is a cozy place. Prime Rib Chili and Onion soup are excellent, too…:)

18 at Spyglass followed by 12 hungry hombres needing some protien and libations as we head to he Tap room at the Lodge in Pebble Beach… Looks like a typical Old Ale house with a fe TV’s small bar and beat up décor… but they certainly delivered on food across the board. After some drinks at the bar we settled in and kicked it off with a few platters of sample appetizers. This ranged from Calamari to fried cauliflower, chicken wings, potato skins etc. To be honest for the most part this was OK. A little under the weeds here as entire place filled up instantly and waiter and now managers had to pitch in to run drinks /beers etc and took some time to get our orders in. Menu for dinne is well Expensive as it is chops /steaks /prime ribs etc all PRIMECUTS and up there Wines by the glass or bottle resort pricing. I’ll just keep it simple Wedges with Blue cheese standard fare nothing to write home about Bratwurst appetizer excellent French onion soups top of the line Dinners: All steaks were out of this world simply top shelf flavorful, cooked to pefection and spot on. Prime rib was 8 our of 10 a little think cut for my taste but again top shelf flavor and quality Some Brie burgers KOBE beef were out of ths world Sides the steak truffle fries off the carts while rest of sides were Ok . All and all 12 guys great food, drinks some wine $ 1400.00 Top Shelf food in a place that could use a little interior make over… some timing issues on ordering and appetizers and some salads were average other than that 4 out of 5 stars is a repeat if in the area. PS walk through and look at 18th hole of Pebble from the Lobby breathtaking.

If you golf or enjoy seeing how the«other half» live this is the place for you. The ambience is nothing spectacular and reminds me of a pub. The food is abundant and prepared as ordered. The calamari was fried perfect, the potato skins served hot and flavorful. The prices are the same as any upscale resort/golf venue on the West coast. Our server was fantastic and never missed a beat, I’m truly sorry I forgot his name. I recommend eating here if you are visiting and taking the 17 mile drive thru Pebble Beach — Carmel. I was unable to play golf here as my nickname on golf courses preceded me, «Backhoe», go figure.

You won’t get a view of the 18th hole, but you will get good service and amazingly good food. I also liked that the men are asked to remove their hats upon entering. This is just a classy thing, not to mention proper etiquette. In the old days, men never wore their hats upon entering a dining establishment. Today, young and old men don’t know proper etiquette anymore, and Im glad The Tap Room enforces these old standards. The menu has high end steaks, but the rest of the menu was surprisingly affordable, not to mention delicious! The sandwiches were decent sized, enough for 2 people to share, if you were not too hungry. My prime rib dip was $ 21 and it was soooo good! Piled high on a toasted French roll was a generous serving of juicy prime rib, dunked in au jus. Served with crisp fries and a side of au jus. Messy but so good! Stephen had the pulled pork Bbq sandwich and it came with a generous side of beer battered onion rings. The soft drinks were $ 4 but our server refilled my glass 3 times without being asked. I wish we saved room for dessert! Since we spent over $ 30, our gate fee was applied to our bill, bringing it down to $ 44 for 2 people. Sure, its a bit pricy for a normal lunch, but considering its at a famous resort like Pebble Beach, I found it to be quite reasonable. Free wifi and parking
