Good coffee! Even better service. We wanted pizza from across the street so they even let us go buy that and bring it over and eat it a Lou’s! Very friendly!

This place has it all. By far the best place on campus for great food, coffee, beer, customer service and ambiance. I’ve never felt so comfortable wether i am studying, meeting friend or clients, or just grabbing a bite to eat.

Very good food! I had the Asian flatbread pizza and the pretzel breadsticks. Very delicious. A little pricey & the food took awhile to get to our table, but we did enjoy it. Would eat here again.

I have not had the food here, but the coffee is mediocre at best. It’s nice to get an actual mug, but they don’t seem to understand what«room for cream» means, and the cream is the prepackaged, non-refrigerated kind, which… yuck. Is it really that hard to keep a pitcher of half and half out? Also, the iPad checkout system is nice and all, but it takes approximately forever for them to ring up my $ 1.79 small coffee, and it’s kind of awkward to be standing there while they keep tapping away. The guys at the counter are reasonably nice, at least, and the café itself has a good selection of chairs, tables, and nooks, so there’s always someplace to sit(unlike, say, Starbucks). Honestly, unless I’m in desperate need of coffee right off campus, I won’t be in a hurry to go back to Lou’s. It’s just not that great.

I don’t know about Lou, but the kids running this place are great. Not sown in any of the photos is a very nice lounge with a brick wine cellar type of feeling, nice leather couches, coffee tables and wifi. The thing that takes this coffee house from 4 stars to 5… they serve beer! Good beer too, lots of choices of craft beers. In town for a week and plan to be here every morning for coffee and each evening to try a new brew.

I’ve visited Lou’s Brew a number of times for breakfast and lunch. I must say that I am hooked on their tea and laid-back atmosphere. Their oatmeal is a perfect way to start out any day and their sandwiches are fresh and exciting. Ever since I tried their homemade cole slaw, I dream about it. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly as well as the staff. My only critique is that they are always out of stuff. I ask for the cole slaw every time and they are always out. Whenever I get the chance, I pass up subway for Lou’s Brew sandwiches and cole slaw, but I just wish they would make enough after they tease me with their awesome food!

Brand new(12÷11÷12) to the café scene in Oshkosh and what a great addition. A menu notches above the standard café faire. Lotsa room, HUGE overstuffed couches and chairs for lounging, free WI-FI. Right off the university in the heart of the campus district on WI St. Watch for this place to take-off once the students are back in town. But don’t let the student crowd scare you, I’m sure this place’ll be a fit for locals lookin’ for another coffee/café tucked away from the west side hustle and bustle.
