Insomnia Cookies

Amazing team amazing manager and of course amazing cookies!!! Yet there are more than just cookies there, you can get ice cream and brownies and milk and water and jumbo cookies and brownie à la mode cookie à la mode and so much more!!! stop and then try a bite it’s delicious!!! P. S. They’re open until 3 am!!!

I’m proud. I walked in with the intention of only purchasing one cookie and I stuck with that. One deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup cookie it was.
The main thing that makes Insomnia so great is that the cookies are served straight outta the oven. Warm, melted chocolate graces your taste buds and the freshness is real.
You will have to shell out a bit of cash for these pups but it’s a treat that I’m willing to pay for.

Late night snacking can be tough. Insomnia cookies seems to want to fill this void with homemade cookies. The dozen selected for our order included several different flavors with every single one being very awesome tasting. The only imbalance that I found was the price to size ratio. $ 14 for a dozen cookies gave me the impression that I would be receiving some good size cookies in my box when I picked them up. The cookies I received reminded me of the small cookies that have been made in our oven several times using pre-​made grocery store dough. The location does offer delivery which would be great if the weather was a factor and without question adds a convenience element. The other awesome factor that came with my order was the fact that the order was nice and hot… who could resist such a thing? Price is the only reason for not hitting the 5^th star as taste would get 6!

This being my third semester at UWO’s MBA program, I have basically come to terms with the fact that my life sucks. Similarly, my social life is almost too marginal to even warrant a mention. Working a full time job while still being fully immersed in an unforgiving curriculum that demands total commitment can tax the will of anyone. Most of all… Me! With this in mind, even simple pleasures for me have an intensified magnitude.
Like most grad students, I keep bizarre hours that only other grad students are able to have much appreciation or sympathy for. You can be sitting at the library totally focused on a 3 hour study session and not feel hungry at all. Then it begins to come on in waves and you feel like a concentration camp survivor.
Sure, Oshkosh has plenty of late night dining options, just like any other town that contains a large university. However, one thing it does not have is a means to satisfy a craving for sweets in the wee hours of the morning. Enter Insomnia Cookie, with it’s very novel and niche business concept, to fill this void.
The cookies themselves? They are fantastic. Great flavor and no cutting corners in the baking or ingredient process. They also have ice cream and lots of other cookie related items sure to make you feel guilty when you wake up the following morning.
The best part? They stay open very late (3AM) and will have your order at the door very quickly. They are not as fast as say, Jimmy Johns, but right around that ballpark. This is a type of delivery service every university should have.
I gave a 4 out of 5 stars instead of a 5 based solely on pricing. They are far more expensive than what you are likely to find at Pick and Save or festival. However, the quality and convenience of this service is vastly superior. If you want a premium level of quality and service, it should not come as a surprise that you are forced to pony up a premium price.
Insomnia cookie is an excellent temporary way to eek out some pleasure in an otherwise stress filled and utterly mundane existence.

So its 2am (or later) and you have that sweet tooth craving that just won’t quit so what do you do? You just dial up Insomnia Cookies (web or phone or even just brave the cold and head down) and they will deliver warm, fresh, hot, gooey (enough adjectives?!) cookies — all the way until 3am! YAY! They can do ice cream too!
Any hoo… this is a great addition to Oshkosh and the surrounding areas!
