Little Caesars Pizza

Pizza came with big whole in the middle! Cold too! My husband picked it up on his way home from work. I think it was one of those bubbles, but it obviously was not a small bubble. No cheese in that area… rip off!

We come here mostly for the $ 5 ready pizzas (cheese or pepperoni) when no one feels like cooking. Since what we want is typically already to go, service is quick. Definitely worth stopping by if you need something quick or you are in a hurry.

I have always liked little caesar’s pizza ever since I was a kid. Their pizza always seemed to taste differently than their other competitors: Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and Papa Johns. I like the fact that this location is located right on Lake Underhill, which is close to Alafaya Trail, which brings in a bunch of traffic. Even though there are other choices, I think little caesars can keep itself sustained, almost calling it a comeback. They have specials, which I think set them apart from their competition as well. My favorite special is $ 8 deep deep dish pizza with pepperoni, very very very good!!! Also another special they have is a lunch combo which is $ 5 everyday. Also another perk is that they have ready made pepperoni pizza which is only $ 5 as well, so looks like you can make out like a fat rat with all these specials. A place I am definitely gonna go back to over and over and over again.

If I had written this 5 minutes ago, I would have given this place a much worse review. However, I’m a big fan of customer service, so here goes.
Hot-​n-​Ready was a fairly new concept for me when we moved into our house a couple years ago. While I knew about Little Caesar’s as a kid (Pizza! Pizza!), I had my first hot-​n-​ready after we moved in down the street from one. Let’s be honest. When you walk into a place with a $ 5 bill and walk out with a large pizza in less than a minute, your expectations should be adjusted accordingly. If I walked into Gino’s and dropped $ 25 on a large pizza and I walked out with a Little Caesar’s variety, I’d be pretty peeved. But I’d say, all in all, Little Caesar’s delivers what it promises: hot pizza, albeit average quality, that’s ready when you walk in. Between work and full-​time law school, I’m a busy girl, so when I’m exhausted and hungry and almost home, I like the idea of nourishment at minimal price (in terms of both cooking time and fiscally). So, I’d say hubby and I are there 2 to 3 times each month.
I stopped in today and grabbed a hot-​n-​ready. I succumbed to the usual up-​selling of Crazy Bread and soda, paid my $ 9 and left as I mentally checked off one of the many things from my evening to-​do list. Dinner: done. I got home a minute later and noticed that the pizza looked a little old. Glanced at the 12 little numbered squares on the side of the box and I saw that the «10» was checked. So, in my mind, that meant that my pizza was made at… whaa… could it be? 10 a.m.?? Holy cheese and red sauce! That was seven hours ago! No way!
I immediately went to the Little Caesar’s website and jotted a note about my outdated grub, including the store where it was purchased. Thirteen minutes later, I receive a call from a man who received my email about his store and explained that the «10» indicated the position of the MINUTE hand, not the hour hand, and that the policy is to discard any pizza after 30 minutes. That said, based on my time frame, it seems as though mine was past that 30-​minute window, so he was on his way to the shop to personally make me a new pizza, or if I prefer to put a note on the books for me to pick one up at a later date! Seriously, that’s my idea of good customer service. They’re back in my good graces.
