Had redneck, pepper parmesen, buffalo hot, and cajun ranch wings. Also had two big side salads. Josh our waiter was attentive and engaging. Redneck was our favorite but all were great. Live music tuning up when we left. Sounded good.

The food was typical Dick’s and tasted good but the restaurant itself is dark(more bar than restaurant) and the service was very inattentive. Took forever to order and get our food even though there were three waitresses and not very many tables. Mushroom appetizer came out after the food and only after we reminded the waitress. Not a good place to go for a quick lunch. The one off Blanding is bigger and MUCH cleaner. The bathroom had a rather large dead bug in it and I really regretted looking back into the kitchen area on my way back to the table. Definitely not trying this place again.

If you act like you don’t want my business, you won’t get my business. I like to start off by saying that my family and I had been a loyal patron if this establishment for nearly a year now eating there once to three times a week. Now, Owner didn’t open up Wednesday, so Friday when we went in we asked our waitress about it. She said she didn’t know why. «They» showed up to work and owner was never there to open, said they called but never got ahold of anyone. Now it’s Sunday, my family and I go in and the owner is there and accuses us of reporting him to the corporate office, which we DIDNOT. Then h e says«I don’t believe you.» He had a store full of employees that lost a days wages because he didn’t show up to open the store. To the best of my knowledge never gave a reason why, i’m sure I’m not the only patrons at his establishment that tried to eat there Wednesday, and I’m the one that emailed corporate? I should email corporate. I’ve already been found guilty of the crime.

My wife and I started out with 2 beers and she wanted wings and I wanted the AYCE boneless wings… First of all… No lime for Corona… Strike 1… the gal knew at opening that none were available…(couldn’t anybody be bothered with going up to the store to get some for the bar??) Waitress asked if we wanted celery and dipping sauce and did not mention extra cost being incurred with these… Strike 2… Waitress brought out my first boneless wing plate to me, before she left I asked for another… half hour later… its delivered(slow), I asked for another before she left the table…20 minutes later… it arrives… Strike 3… Service was extremely slow and waitress was inattentive… seemed more interested with another ladies baby and holding it(without washing hands afterwards and before handling food or beverages) Restaurant was dirty, bathrooms were dirty and men’s urinal had issues… we will not be returning to this establishment again… Not the worst we have seen, but running really close… This place claims to be a sports bar… with 3 strikes in baseball, where does this leave Dick’s Wings? OUT!

I’m not giving them 4 stars just because. I’ve only been here once and it was picked over Buffalo Wild Wings on wells from my friend. My experience there was good that I couldn’t even take a picture because I already ate all the wings. Don’t worry about there happy hour prices if you want a beer or two with your wings. Anytime, All day — 99c pint drafts when you get a wing combo. Limit to two but if your there with a friend, well more the merrier. The service was friendly and they carried a conversation and opened to us as we was friends. We were sitting at the bar and they changed the channel for us and kept my beer filled for me. I didn’t get to my third because I was full but out of there more than 10+ flavors. You got to stop in. I recommend the victory lane wings(they are grilled and amazing) I ordered it mild and it was perfect. The honey BBQ tasted like the roasted honey BBQ sauce you would get at Chicfila but all over a wing — if anything I would try to see if they can make any flavor grilled. The Happy Hour though starts at 3, for your information. Hope you have some good wings, because the ones I had was delish!

Someone is listening and reading comments, because the quality of service has greatly improved and my meal was very enjoyable. I haven’t been to this location in more than a year, but I am happy to say that I’ll be back for lunch for sure. The Boneless wings were big and meaty with just the right amount of breading and sauce. My only dislike would have to be the«Natural cut Tater Chips», they were a little bland and weren’t cooked to order, but they switched them for steak fries without questions. GREATJOBDUSTIN!

The service here was slow and careless and it seemed like the food was rushed. Three of our meals came out timely, but the kitchen clearly forgot about the fourth. By the time it came(30 minutes later,) we had to leave so we weren’t late for our movie.

Service was slow/inattentive. Drinks were not refilled timely. There were food specials listed on a chalkboard as we arrived, but when we asked about specials we were told they really didn’t have any specials aside from happy hour beer. Menu variety was limited. The food was underwhelming. I was initially served salad w/brown lettuce. Our wings were small and one order was overly sauced & looked unappetizing. Our fries were served ten minutes after the wings. We found nothing that would entice us to return. Skip this place & satisfy your wings cravings just down the road at Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings, or Orange Park Ale House.

I was visiting family in Orange Park on vacation. I have to admit, I have it made living in Portland, Oregon where the food rarely sucks. One of my favorite things in Florida were wings, but none of the local wing businesses were still around, so I decided to try Dicks based on above average reviews from just a few people. I went into the bathroom and immediately started sliding on the greasy tile floor. Do you know how hard it is to take a leak while your feet are sliding away from each other??? Ok, I’m not there for the bathrooms… BUT any restaurant I walk into I do expect to be clean. A cook walked out of the stall, never bothered to wash his hands and went straight to the kitchen. No way in hell would I eat at this place. Sanitation should be the #1 priority of any restaurant and to see a cook not wash his hands is disgusting and ready to pass e. coli or other diseases to the customer.

Myself along with my mom have been a regular visitor of the Dick’s Wings location on Wells Road OP, FL for a couple years now. We go at least once a week. The quality of this location has dramatically decreased since the previous owner passed away. It is her son who has taken over. Since he has taken over the food quality and portions have became of much poorer quality. The past few months it seems any time we go they are out of at least one item. And they are normal items — cup lids, potato salad, waffle fries & one time even wings. It is Dick’s Wings — how do you run out of wings? Anyway despite this we have continued to be faithful customers. One of the major frustrations is the fact it seems every time we go our total bill is different. We typically order the same items so we notice a change. One week I’m charged $ 0.59 extra blue cheese and the next it is $ 0.50. One week the combo includes the fries and drink and the next those are extra charges. Again despite the bill total differences based on waitress and times visited we have continued to go. Today we went there for lunch and were appalled by the behavior of not only the waitress, but the owner who acknowledge he was the owner. We went with my sister and all ordered the usual. I got my receipt and it was a bit more than usual so I started to look at it. I was changed $ 1.00 extra fro waffle fries, $ 2.00 extra for tender combo drink & $ 0.50 for extra blue cheese. I asked the waitress to explain the additional charges and she automatically seem flustered and went and got the owner. The owner came to the table and said, «What’s the problem? I’m the owner.» I explained that I wasn’t sure why I was charged all the extra fees. His reply actually didn’t explain anything. He stated that I was suppose to be charged the extra charges all along and he wasn’t sure why they never did. He also stated that the price of wings had sky rocketed and he was barely keeping his doors open. Although I sympathize I don’t know how that is the customer’s business or problem. I was frustrated and just said I would pay. The waitress came back with my card and receipt to sign and I again asked about the drink charge. The lunch tender combo is suppose to include 1 side and a 20 oz drink. I didn’t understand why I was being charged an extra $ 2.00. The waitress couldn’t give me an answer and got the owner again. I asked him again about the drink charge and his reply was«It looks to me like you are all drinking 32 oz to go cups.» I felt that was very rude. I asked for a to go drink and the waitress never once stated it would be an extra $ 2.00 nor did my sister or Mom get charged the extra $ 2.00. I asked why I was charged and not them and again no answer. I said that I already paid for meal, but I still felt it was not right and that it was poor customer service. I mean I didn’t even get one refill because my waitress never came back after I got my food, plus the size of the cup was definitely not a 20 oz soda cup. My Mom also inquired why she was charged $ 6.29 when the specials on the table stated $ 5.99. The owner said they had changed their prices. My Mom stated he should change the table displays then. He didn’t seem to care. I proceeded to address fact that we were regulars and that is why I noticed difference and that we’ve came back despite their lack of products from time to time. He didn’t say he could do anything for and my Mom said that it was their loss then. Losing two regulars and sometimes our fellow co workers and family come as well weekly. He said, «No it is not my loss.» And as we walked out my Mom stated how the location had gone done hill since the previous owner passed away. He followed us to the door rudely replying, «That was my Mom and if I wasn’t doing a good job my doors would be shut.» Didn’t he just state that they were barely keeping their doors open? And he followed the customer outside to continue to «argue» with them. Very unprofessional. Prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. They run our of product so much and they try to cut corners without considering the customer and the product put out. The wings have decreased in size — sometimes I think they are regular chick breast cut into chucks & called«boneless wings» and/or they run out of dressing cups branded and use bottle dressing poured into plastic cups and up charged.

This is, by far, my favorite location around town for Dick’s Wings. It was the first Dick’s Wings that I ever went to upon my arrival in Jax in 2004. None of the other locales compare. The wait staff is always charming and friendly. The food is superb. Bring your appetite! Don’t miss out on the appetizers. You’re in the South, even if you aren’t a Southerner, order the fried pickles, squash or green beans. So tasty! Wings, whether you get boneless or bone-in, are always the key to a great meal here. You can make any type of combination that you want. Get some waffle fries with that too, and soak up the remaining sauce from your wings with the fries. If you have room, they even have fried oreos for dessert. One thing that happened to disappear while I was stationed in Italy was the Mesquite flavor for the wings. That was my absolute favorite. I still miss that flavor, but it does free me up to try ones that I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. If you’re going to Dick’s Wings, order the wings. That’s what they are known for and what they do best.

Love this place. There are over 100 possible combinations of wing sauces and spice. My personal favorites are the Cajun Ranch, General Dick’s, Bourbon, and Smokey Mountain Gold. The fried pickles are a fantastic appetizer, and the deep fried Oreos are a tasty finisher. The owner and waitresses are a fun bunch(especially with short shorts) and though service can be slow at times(especially on trivia night), the food always makes up for it. Hopefully they’ll have Yuengling back shortly.
