Went in for drinks with a buddy of mine on a week night and our experience was totally awesome. I’m somewhat of a whiskey connoisseur and the bartender definitely knew what he was making & talking about. He also makes a mean whiskey sour! Love the feel, vibe and professionalism here.

Checked out park social while staying in the neighborhood. The drinks are fantastic. I tend to stay in the bourbons so i got the Caramello with Bulliet. The chocolate hint was nice, and they make their own ice here which is impressive — crystal clear. Its a little hidden in Olmos Park so when we went it was a quiet atmosphere. Great place to come for a good drink.

Bartender pays no attention to us cause he is to busy conversing with people who are off the clock drinking at the bar. No music, the vibe is not welcoming at the moment however it is 4:00 on a Sunday. I’m giving it four because when I asked a question there was another employee who informed us of the bar rules and he seemed much more hospitable thanks guy! Won’t make an effort to come back but if If friends decide to go I’ll give it another go

If you’re looking for a low key atmosphere drinkery in the area of East Olmos, Park Social is a good place to start. When you first walk up you’re not sure if you’re in the right place because the bar is narrow and half of the front window has a super dark tint. I’m thinking they are trying to go for the speakeasy vibe, but it didn’t quite work. Anyway, they have a good selection of classic cocktails made with a wide variety of spirits. Most of the cocktails are made with bourbon, gin, whiskey, rum and even tequila. They have small interesting selection of bottled and canned beers but no beers on draft. Cocktails range in price from about $ 9 to $ 16. They have some specials written on the chalkboard that are about $ 5 or $ 6. The cocktails made here are quality and pretty tasty. We came on a Friday night at 10 and it was practically empty. There was just our group of 7 and 2 other couples in the whole bar. It didn’t start picking up until about 11. We learned that they stop serving alcohol at midnight because they are waiting to get approval from Olmos Park to be able to serve liquor till 2am. Like I said this is probably a good place to start. This seemed to be a place where people go to pre-drink. Overall this place is okay, but I would not go out of my way to make a visit. I would probably only go if I lived in the area.

Creative cocktail menu. Nice vibe for conversation and/or romantic couples. Music choice and volume make for good ambiance. Be sure to check blackboard for special drinks. More sophisticated than expected for SAT.

Nice small bar if you wanna just go chill out, have a nice cocktail, and not be in a place that’s too crowded… yet. There’s only one small bathroom but I only see that becoming problematic if this place gets busier. There’s no prominent sign to see it, but it’s right next to FOLC. The bartenders were very nice and helpful.

This place was quite amazing. Extremely friendly staff, the atmosphere was low key and the food and drinks were delicious! I almost want to keep this place a secret!

Newest bar for all ye craft cocktail enthusiasts. Small spot nestled in same strip as Folc with pretty much all booze plus a small selection of craft brews. Their drinks are never too sweet and pack a punch. This place is small, dark and intimate and is liable to get crowded pretty quickly due to small size and limited seating. They also have Folc’s menu in case you happen to get the drunken munchies. The tarbenders are quite knowledgeable in their craft, quite chatty and eager to share their knowledge. Craft ice factor: 10 — not perfectly round but hand-crafted to fit the vessel the spirit will be in. Non craft ice factor: 10 — they scoop the ice out of this chrome fruit bowl that they refill frequently so you’re always getting fresh ice. The only drawbacks are: –The unisex restroom(a second one is needed) –Parking, which is shared with other businesses in that strip –Purse hooks for your lady friend; she will appreciate it.

I was looking for a happy hour place near by and Park Social popped up on my search. The HH deal isn’t the greatest, $ 1 off cocktails, but the cocktails were worth it! Eric our bartender was very friendly and helpful about our drink selections. I tried the Cinco Missions & La Trinidad and both were delicious! I did see a lot of delicious looking entrees coming through from Folc, will definitely try next time. It’s a great place to go with a group of friends and catch up, the music wasn’t too loud to where you can’t carry on a conversation.

Very nice bar with excellent drinks. Very friendly staff, with great atmosphere. The mixed drinks are unique(try the Trinidad), and there is also a small but unique selection of craft beers. This is a great place to wrap up after dinner at Folc, since it’s right next door.

Always interested in checking out additions to the SA cocktail scene and can say David’s concoctions did not disappoint at all. Caramello was a «dessert-style» take on an old fashioned, probably would have been best as an after dinner. Traditional OF was excellent, 3 – 4 rye’s to choose from besides the well; bourbon and Canadian available as well if that’s your taste. Happy hour price point really surprised me– easily the best quality/price ratio for GREAT cocktails we’ve seen lately. Since the bar also serves the adjoining restaurant, orders can seem to get a bit backed up even when the number of patrons at the bar is quite small. Eclectic musical selection played at a pleasant volume, a couple TV’s with muted sound made for easy conversation.

This is the best new bar in town. If you like the Brooklynite, Bohanan’s, 20⁄20 or Du Mon Ami you’ll feel right at home here. Ask for David, you won’t be disappointed.

I came to this bar on the recommendation of a couple of friends and I gotta say I was not disappointed! David the bartender knows his drinks, and it shows in the taste. Everything is a step above all of the other bars in the San Antonio!

Great place in Olmos to kick back and have an amazing craft cocktail. David behind the bar comes up with whatever you like. Best part? If you don’t like your drink, send it back. House rule. No questions asked.

I’m always a fan of new bars — and an even bigger fan of bars that are a little bit of a challenge to find(what can I say, I’m a complicated gal). Park Social has no sign, pretty dark/blacked out windows and intriguing(very small) placard near the door announcing their hours. Take the effort to find it. I believe they may have another sign near their door that almost tricks you into believing you’re going into a wine bar… but no dice(don’t fall for it). The bartender(David) was super sweet and very much about his business. When I asked about infusions and the menu he was very sweet and informative. He even explained a new process he was going to use instead of traditional«infusing». I’m on board. I can’t wait to try Folc and see if their service matches.
