Sandwiches are pre made and they give them to you right away very cold. I had to ask them to warm it up because who likes a cold sandwich? Not even subway serves their sandwiches on fridge cold bread. The cashier doesn’t even flash a friendly smile. She looks like she is very irritated to work here.

Ordered an egg, cheese, and ham sandwich for breakfast, when I opened the sandwich there was no cheese, nor could you taste any cheese– so I took it back and the cashier insisted that the cheese was mixed in with the egg so I just couldn’t see it… I’m not blind and my taste buds do work– there was no cheese.

I like this spot. They are pretty quick and organized. Super thin crust, just how I like it too.

Don’t wait till 8:40pm as they stop serving pizza then. Wonder if owner knows? Pizza was good when I was here earlier in week.

Brown and burnt clam chowder and stale bread… what, do you think we are airport junkies with no food standards… no, it is 6:00 pm, dinner time, no reason why you can’t have fresh soup out and prepared, non stale bread that hasn’t been sitting out for two days getting hard and stale, blah … Tossed the meal going for a smoothie at Jamba

I was very disappointed with their pizza. The cashier was quite friendly. And the crust was ok. But flavor was bland and skimpy on the toppings. I even paid 1.25 extra for onions and barely got any. I ordered the vegetarian. Overall I paid 20.15 for pizza and water. Such a rip off :(

$ 12.50 for a pizza that feeds two is not a bad deal in my opinion. Pizza that is freshly baked to order with a perfectly crisp thin crust makes that deal even better. Didn’t care much for the garden salad with its bland olive oil based dressing. However, it was nice not having to go to a bar for a drink since they serve bottled Anchor Steam and a few other beers.

Flying out and not feeling well enough to eat garbage(read, take out), I opted for a Cobb salad here at Firewood café. They looked decent enough, and for a whopping $ 9 it should be at least ok. The thing was virtually inedible, the romaine lettuce was already browning in the middle, which was hidden under all the chicken and egg bits on top. Then I happened upon not one, but FOUR butts of the romaine filling the rest of the container. It was absolutely disgusting. And to top it all off the girl behind the counter kept eyeing me like I was about to steal something. This garbage definitely is not even worth that.

Ok. I know, I know. It’s at the airport and I shouldn’t expect it to be very good. But it used to be ok. Now it’s HORRENDOUS! Incompetent, surely service, horribly excuse for pizza. Horrible.

Expensive it’s expected though its in the airport. Good customer service! Pepperoni Pizza was a average thin crust Pizza. Sandwiches were good and packed with flovor. The dining area was messy and there is not a ton of places to sit. It’s nice to have a Pizza place in the airport although the product could be better

They have a breakfast pizza yum yum($ 10)! Kind of pricey but a really good deal if you get it for two people. The pizza came with fluffy eggs and bacon on top of melted cheese. We chose the bacon over the sausage but I definitely want to try the sausage next time. The pizza crust was nice, thin and crispy and it was the perfect personal pan pizza size. It was not greasy at all, and we werent stuffed or felt gross afterwards. I never had a breakfast pizza before and this one just set the bar really high!

A step up from the usual airport restaurant fare. Solid wood-fired pizza and tons of high quality greens in the garden salad.

It’s one of the few dine out spots in OAK airport. My buddy tried to get some wine before our early morning flight, but alas they did not sell alcohol before 9 or 10AM. I do not recall. LMAO, we probably looked like a couple of boozers, but they serve as a relaxant for those anxious flyers. Their breakfast was decent, but we were starving from our flight delay.

Firewood serves surprisingly good thin-crust brick-oven pizza, especially for an airport restaurant. They also offer salads and breakfast, and the staff have always been friendly.

For a walk up and order type place they have a great egg scramble for breakfast. Real sized serving of eggs, sausage, bacon potatoes and some bread. Tastes great too. Definitely enough to fill you up and the price is reasonable when you think how much a crappy fast food meal would be. I don’t fly OAK much but when I do I’ll definitely be coming back here. Thanks guys.

I stopped by here this past Tuesday morning with my fiancé for breakfast while we were waiting for our plane. It was actually nice to see this place was open whenever we rolled into the terminal just after 5AM. I was looking to eat a little healthier after a trip of eating out every meal every day and so I was disappointed whenever I did not see any healthy items on their menu. Then I turned around and was greeted by a wall of prepackaged food from which I choose a small sized grilled chicken salad. My fiancé ended up ordering off the menu and went with their breakfast sandwich which was on a croissant. My bill ended up being around $ 20 with the breakfast sandwich costing almost half of that, ouch. At least it tasted pretty good as my fiancé allowed me to have a bite of it. My salad on the other hand was merely ok. Of course I am not expecting a lot from a prepackaged salad in an airport but the croutons on my salad were soggy and the caesar dressing had a bit of an off taste. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again if I was flying out of the oakland airport early in the morning. While I was not too happy about the prices being charged sometimes it is worth sucking it up as this was easily the best option for food in the terminal that we were flying out of.

Given that this is located in an airport, there isn’t much to expect. They offer about 6 pizza options and it takes about 10 minutes to make. Seating is very limited with about 4 tables. I opted for the pepperoni pizza and one is enough for two to share. Considering that I was traveling alone, I found the $ 15 price(including bottled water) to be a little much. But again, it’s in an airport so I understand. The pizza itself, was ok. I liked that it was thin, but this also made it easier to burn. Which some of the slices were. They also have some grab and go salads available as well.

Delayed at Oakland Airport for 2 hours. Decided to have the Mushroom Pizza without Onions for $ 10. It was decently priced, though compared to the other places in Berkeley and SF, it’s a bit on the expensive side. The service is really good and a good seating place if you are waiting for a flight, but closes at 9.(So move to Starbucks comfy seats.) Pro: — Fast Service(Probably since it’s 9.) — Decent tasting pizza. — Friendly People. Con: — A little expensive for students. Overall the place is A-OK. Nothing really special about it. Though nothing really bad. But good place for a quick bite before a flight.

Meh. It’s airport pizza. Where it’s okay to charge thirteen dollars for a personal pan. I did enjoy the wine pours. Skip all the packaged food though. Bleh.
