Thumbs up times two. Fast, good service on a busy Friday evening and pleasantly surprised for an airport establishment. Five beer sampler a good deal and liked the Hef and Snow Cap winter ale. Only one not so good was the IPL — pretty bitter. My smoked beef tacos were excellent with good melding of flavors. Not a huge portion but did the trick. Wife’s quinoa power salad received rave reviews — I grabbed a few bites and agreed. Champagne vinaigrette a tad sweet so would suggest ordering on the side.

Decent food and service, can’t speak to the high prices, but hey, it’s the airport. We had the bbq chicken sandwich with chips and an order of chicken wings. Also a Coke and a Pyramid Hefeweizen. Served quickly and ice cold, all I could ask for. If you want to complain about the prices, dine before you arrive at the airport. If not… quit complaining. Good food, great beverages, and a view of jets. A happy traveler as we dined here on Christmas Eve 2015. A fifth star if the prices were normal. We will be back, beats the high priced magazine stand snack food before your flight.

On a busy Sunday morning the Ladies that are running around and assisting travelers are amazing! Service with a smile and it is so appreciated! Screaming children in the background, grumpy people that just can’t be pleased… but alas, these ladies keep smiling and moving things along.

Karen the bartender was a one person show. The airport bar was way understaffed and I’ll definitely not count on this place for a pre-flight meal. Unfortunately, the SW terminal has few choices for food and as a result it’s always my last choice when flying to the Bay Area. Flying to San Jose in two days and looking forward to fish and chips at The Brit on the way home. Wake up Oakland and add a decent restaurant to the SW terminal.

We have been waiting for 20 minutes, empty restaurant 3 servers and still haven’t even been approached. Finally went to the bar and got a beer only to find out they were out of both eggs and coffee. Servers have obvious don’t-give-a-crap attitude. Avoid this place and go to one of the other restaurants in the airport

Avoid! $ 45 for two dry burgers and soft drinks. Horrible service, even for an airport restaurant. Frankly, Burger King would have been an improvement.

I travel frequently, and understand that the prices are super inflated for airport food… but… $ 12 for 6TINY buffalo wings?!? Come on!!! On top of the ridiculous prices, 6 wings took 20 minutes to get to us. Not sure how this is even possible. Our total for 1 tall beer, 1 pint, 1 bottle & wings was $ 42+tip. They also added on an «employee benefit surcharge,» which I found tacky. Service was decent, but due to the ridiculous pricing and unreasonable food delivery time this was a first… and last.

Not half bad for airport food, and that’s really saying something! The hubby and I had breakfast here and it was served hot, fresh and quickly by a very pleasant waiter. They have a decent selection of beers for an airport bar, too! On top of that, the prices didn’t break the bank which is rare for airport dining.

I recommend stopping here if you have a lot of time to kill before your flight. Service is not zippy. But the food was better than expected, though overpriced(as expected). I particularly enjoyed the shrimp taco small plate. I always enjoy Pyramid brews. Their IPA is my current favorite, and hit the spot.

I’m not sure if we were hungry or if it was actually good food… We like to think it was good because we surely are everything. First of all, it’s an airport food, so we didn’t expect much, second we know it’ll cost a lot since its in an airport. Sooo… With that said we were hungry and didn’t want fast food and saw Pyramid. I usually like their Hefeweizen beer. Their menu looked decent too. Of course a bit overpriced. Food choices: –Kobe burger: it was a regular burger no frills and none of that modern crap on the burger. Just lettuce, tomatoes, onions, beef and American cheese on a regular bun, along side a pickle and some chips.($ 16ish). It was good for a regular burger, we can taste the meat and it wasn’t dry. We liked it. –Chicken salad with kale: this was good too, it had a lemony dressing but tasted like Caesar dressing, not too much chicken and good amount of kale and romaine. It was good too!($ 15ish) Our meals and 2 beers(large and regular size) came out to like $ 60. Yes totally unnecessary amount to spend on airport food but you don’t have much to work with. It was pretty busy, poor server guy. You can tell he was working hard though, lots of sweat.

I’ve really never had any luck with airport eateries because they’re typically over priced and of poor quality. This one on the other hand was awesome. The spread: Burger — super juicy classic American burger served with red onion, lettuce and tomatoes, $ 15. Yes it was expensive but it had so much flavor and none of the trendy extra crap that most places offer. I genuinely enjoyed it. Nice work. Oh and it was served with some house made chips, which were super crispy and delicious. Not greasy at all. Kale and Chicken Salad — taste more like a Caesar but with kale and huge chunks of juicy chicken. It also came with shaved Parmesan which was a huge plus. My GF and I split this and the burger so it was perfectly portioned. Drank: Outburst Imperial IPA(8.5%) — delicious strong ass IPA, 20oz for $ 12ish Hefeweizen — traditional hef, delicious as well, $ 8 pint Overall great experience for an airport eatery. Seriously.

I’m totally appalled by this establishment. 2 servers that were very nice I’m sorry they have to work in this dumped… we sat a table that i did not know was sitting next to an open garbage WTF! The food was cold, I ordered a wine first it came with salt on the rim WTF! I told the waitress she kindly gave me another one I had that one myaybe for 10 mins and found a gnat in my wine. I found it was coming from the gnat and fly infested garbage can. Small menu to pick from. I know it is in a airport buy still. The gentleman next to me also has a gnat in his beer… WTF… Never again…

A surprisingly good place to have breakfast with a beverage. It’s funny, I was looking for any place that had a breakfast burrito. I was just craving one. As soon as I glanced at the breakfast menu and noticed the breakfast burrito, I grabbed a seat. I only had 20 minutes before my flight and had to get a quick meal. As soon as the waitress swung by I told her I only got 20 minutes to get food. She said it will be quick and took her word for it. 8 minutes later, I had my breakfast burrito ready to go. I was only able to eat half of it and took the rest on the plane. It was okay, but I would say it was more on the better side of okay. I also got a mojito. Well, Pomegranate Mojito. I figured it was a good way to start the morning, and it gave me something to enjoy while I wait for my burrito. It was excellent. Couldn’t taste the booze but I can tell it was strong. The price was about $ 14 for the drink but in comparison to other airport, and the size of the glass, I can’t complain. I’ve been to airports that serve a tiny cup of it for $ 20. Overall, a great quick place to grab food and drinks before your flight.

Great Pit Stop while in airport, great beer & great food. Service was fast & friendly, crowded but we found seats, charging stations also. My salad was BIG, I got the baby kale chicken, husband loved his beef tacos.

I love Pyramid Beer! I also love that they have a taproom in the airport. I didn’t love that they were so busy & full(with no waiting area or hostess to direct guests) that they didn’t have room for guests. After stopping by twice(10 mins apart) and seeing that there wasn’t any space, I just walked up to stand at the bar. The bartender was helpful in getting me a beer and a food order while I stood there. He asked me to stand in the corner of the bar to stay out of the waitress’s way… she still gave me dirty looks every time she came by there to pickup drink orders. The food order was just a couple pretzel sticks. They took over 15 minutes, so I asked for them to go. The bartender could tell I was in a hurry by then and went to check on them. They were barely cooked enough to eat(defrosted & warmed, but still a bit soggy). Bummer. I would love to stick around here for a while and have some more beers, but I’m not excited about standing the entire time when they’re too busy :(

Ok place on the right-hand-side of the terminal, +They have bar stools with access to power outlets! Music was a little loud. I had to flag down a waitress to order. I had the Quinoa Spinach Power Salad. It was OK, the quinoa was too soggy for my preference.

Cocktails weren’t available because they had no fresh garnishes like mint or basil or fruit, so that left one to pick from. Could not get coffee because coffee maker was broken. Some other item wasn’t available, so my mom couldn’t get the entrée she wanted. Oy vey! We ended up only ordering a salad and sandwiches but it took way over 30 minutes to get the order. Good thing our plane wasn’t leaving. But we ended being behind schedule anyway. The sandwich was really nice and tasty, it’s too bad service and inventory and speediness are lacking.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Pyramid Taproom, located inside the Oakland Airport. Be warned — seating is limited. There were quite a few options on the menu, depending on what you were looking for. my husband ordered the soft pretzels and my mother-in-law ordered the bleu cheese chips on the appetizer menu and then the four of us split two cobb chicken club sandwiches. I ordered my with grapes. The pretzels and the chips were the star of the show. They were extremely generous with the bleu cheese, which I loved. The chips were crispy and sturdy, and able to adequately hold the generous toppings. Our cobb chicken sandwich was loaded with bacon, avocado, bleu cheese and chicken. The chicken was dry and flavorless, but the addition of avocado, bacon and bleu cheese was welcome. All in all, for around $ 10 a plate, this is a great place to relax and await your flight.

They really want you to get hammered at this Oakland airport location. Or maybe their offerings are just slanted that way to make an extra buck. Me: «I’ll have the IPA please» Waitress: «Would you like the 16 oz. or the 22 oz. Me: «Just the pint, thanks» Waitress: «If you get the larger size, you can get an extra shot for just $ 3 more» (Me thinking: why would I want that? It’s barely noon) Me: «No thanks, just the pint. And the menu please.» Waitress: [made a disappointed face and offered me the menu] My pulled-pork sandwich was decent; nothing special; extremely messy(too much sauce) As mentioned, the menu offered all kinds of deals and combos for mixed drinks and shots of liquor. I looked around me and people were really putting away the hard stuff. One couple bought some combo deal for 6 shots of Patron. They drank them down in a hurry, grimacing the whole time, then departed quickly for their flight.(Mmm Boy… Nothing like filling up on tequila before spending time in a desiccated, sealed cocoon with limited bathroom access.) But last time I checked, Pyramid actually makes BEER, not liquor. My IPA was pretty tasty, and I briefly considered another after finishing it, but decided to pass. With all the hard drinking going on around me, I was really craving some water before my flight.

This site gets no love, but I enjoyed it! We had a two hour layover(not initially supposed to be this way, so we were PLENTY frustrated), and stopped here to kill time. You pay airport prices, but you’re at the airport, so its not too surprising. We ordered larges of their Belgian style beer– like shandy with a lemon in it, and it was delish. They offered a side shot for $ 5 more, and since we were so tired and drained emotionally from the day, we did this too– you can’t get a shot for that price in Chicago, so it was worth it! You could get basically whatever you wanted with this deal. We ordered hot pretzels to tide us over. They seemed pretty much like straight out of the box and microwave, but it was still an OK snack. We still had an hour left at this time, so I went for a vodka soda with grendadine. It was pricier, but not insane(I still think drinks at a baseball game are way more!). Biggest perk was the bartender gave me the grenadine bottle to add as much as I wanted! Service was a-ok, could’ve been faster but wasn’t terrible. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop again if at this airport.
