Ferrulli Pizza

Great pizza. I was visiting a friend in Nutley and stopped in for a slice of pizza. Well after having a slice of pizza, and being tempted by the smells of other meals being prepared, i ordered Chicken Francese and it was out of this world. This place is a great find.

They have a different person making the pies, they don’t taste as good as when joe made them, they have no taste no sauce a lot of cheese not the same very different. Please Joe go back to you making the pies with your good oregano and sauce you had the best pie in the area but now it’s not.

Horrible!
1. Utensils were only brought out when asked. We were sitting there with our appetizers and no utensils.
2. Lemons were not served with our calamari. I asked for lemons twice. I had to get up and get them myself.
3. The waitress spilt soda all over me and the table. Didn’t even offer to replace soda.
4. After all that the waitress had the nerve to say she under charged us for food. We sstill needed to pay more money!
I was so mad by this point. I couldn’t believe she had the nerve to ask for more money. They should have compt us the meal. She ruined my new shirt!!!
Should be no stars!

Love this hole in the wall Italian restaurant. Been here a handful of times and am never disappointed. The chef, Joe is such a nice guy and cooks authentic Italian meals! Their chicken ceasar salad and pastas are all tasty, definitely give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

In my opinion, the best tasting Italian delivery in the area. The sauce is so good you want to drink a cup of it. Why no 5 stars? Well, we used to order from Ferrulli’s all the time, but unfortunately, they’ve messed up or order one too many times. I am a vegetarian, and more than once, they’ve made mistakes on our order and sent over a ham calzone instead of cheese. They’ve forgotten to deliver parts of our order, on several occasions, leaving one person without a meal until it got redelivered.
When we called to let the owner know, he was unapologetic.
It’s really too bad because we enjoyed their food. I would say if you are going to order from Ferulli Pizza, then you should either be prepared for a possible mix up, or go pick up your order and check it for accuracy before taking it home with you.

Great Italian food. Not a big fan of the pizza but there dishes are delicious. My favorite is the penne vodka. Fast delivery and friendly service. Also great cheesesteak sandwich. And chicken parm dinner is great.

After working here I will never eat there food again. The way the owner treats his employees is awful and the place is so filthy it was unbearable. I would write examples of the filth but I’d like to save people from being violently ill. NEVER EAT HERE. And just to give an example I ate there food 3 times and got food poisoning. 3 times. Never ate at work again. I highly recommend not eating there food.

Great pizza! The only problem is that there’s nowhere to sit. They literally have one or two booths, so you’re better off doing take-​out or delivery. But trust me when I say that you won’t be disappointed with the quality of the pizza.

Hands-​down the best chicken parm sandwich I’ve ever had! Joe is always cheerful, and his staff is friendly and attentive. Really good, real Italian food!

Pizza here is alright I could take it or leave it not the best slice I ever had but I guess that’s the pizza in this neighborhood It was small inside as well tables were tight and I’m a small person myself it was pretty clean the service was fast the bathroom is like a broom closet way too small it was also dirty in the bathroom street parking only hard to find spots also

This place is great! The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly. The delivery guys are always prompt and courteous. I know there are a lot of options in Nutley (and the surrounding area), but in my opinion, the pizza is the best in town. I can tell that the owner appreciates my business and that goes a long way for me!

LOVE! stoner delight w college student prices!!! Rigatoni w vodka sauce one of the best I’ve ever had. We used to order from another pizza place in Nutley and it can’t compare to how great Ferulli’s is from nice workers, speedy delivery, great prices, AWESOME food!

This place is a good staple for us… mostly for their buffalo wings. It’s generally very yummy, freshly fried, etc. I really dislike their blue cheese sauce, so I always use my own.
That being said, there have been a few times when the wings were just crap (sat there too long, overcooked, etc). The chicken parm sandwich is kind of hit or miss… Delivery is fast, and while we had some prior orders that contained less than the promised 12 wings, we have recently not had that problem (and actually got 2 extra wings the last time we ordered).
The pizza was only mediocre, but we almost always just go for the wings anyway.

Ferrulli’s pizza is the best in town. Plus their Italian entrée dinners are also great. Chicken Parm, Sausage and Peppers and many others are all great. Nutley is a very Italian town, and Ferrulli’s is best-​in-​breed.

In Nutley you probably want Ralph’s pizza, but driving there and back is a daunting task when you get home from work and just survived another commuting knife-​fight on the GSP. So, a great stand-​by if you lack the motivation to pick up your food is to order from Ferrulli’s. Great pizza and fresh, specializing in sausage, which makes sense in such an Italian town.
I’m trying to think of something I didn’t like there… nope, nothing. Give it a shot, hey, half-​sausage half-​onions and tell me how you made out, eh?
