Not bad if competent staff are on duty. Had a great time yesterday, then returned the next day and a grandmother tending bar threw fit after fit. So rude and incompetent it was remarkable. The other employees were visibly embarrassed. But they did nothing and she did not recover so I went next door. 6.20.16.

Worst service from management I have ever encountered. As a tour guide that frequented this very often I am disgusted with the service I received. My passengers were being charged nearly $ 10 for $ 3 test tube shots from a very heavily under the influence of some drugs shot girl. Don’t ever come here if you expect to be treated like a human.

Epic dance club with strong drinks and groovy dancing. This place is off the chain, and a great place to bust a move after a super solid eight hours of heavy binge drinking. A must because of the large dance floor.

We went to this place before to watch college bowl games on a previous trip and we liked the outdoor set up so we went back on this trip to watch the hockey game. It is not too far from our hotel and we had done a lot of walking that day so that was a plus. When we arrived, we sat at the outside bar with the TV. Roan was our bartender, and he is a great guy. Happy hour specials were 3 for 1 beers, so my husband got a couple and Roan was quick to get him a bucket of ice so they would stay cold. That is important because other bars on the strip do not do that so your beers get warm if you don’t drink them quick enough. I was drinking alcohol, and they have good happy hour prices on mixed drinks as well. I think they do a better pour than another popular place down the street(same place that doesn’t give you a bucket for your beers.) It was Thursday night, and they had a great fun, blues, rock band playing in the bad area. They were great! Also, when the band was on break the singer came over to talk to Roan and my husband noticed she saw some broken glass on the ground. She went over there, picked up the big pieces and then got a broom to finish cleaning it up. We thought that was impressive. She didn’t have to do that but she did. My husband complimented her on doing so and she said she takes pride in where she works. We went back on Friday for a bit, and discovered they would not have a live band, just a DJ. Apparently it draws a younger crowd as well. That was disappointing since I love live music, but we enjoyed watching the younger people/bachelorette parties etc. making bad decisions for a while before moving on.

I… uhh…well i remember coming here and getting carded. You walk down a hall next to a fry restaurant and next to the other part of a bar — and end up in the beach on bourbon street. The drinks are very strong, the music is loud, lots of people and there’s a fountain in the middle! it was a lot to take in and quick! But they have a stage where you can dance and show off your stuff, a VIP area next to the stage that overlooks everything, and like maybe 3 bars all serving powerful drinks that will get you twisted and for not too expensive. Dancing is fun!

Live music and no cover charge. However, they get you with the price of the drinks. Too expensive. There’s other locations on Bourbon with better drinks and adequate prices. The only attraction is the water foundation as you walk in. While I was in there, I just felt like something was missing. Haven’t put my finger on it just yet.

In town for a conference. Stopped in on my way to the trolley with every intention of leaving Bourbon street for the night. 2+ hrs later I finally left. LOL The band was great & very interactive with the crowd and when their set was done the DJ kept us dancing. Place was hoppin and it was a Monday night.

Live music, no cover charge, ok drinks, but something was missing. The biggest attraction was really the water fountain.

I’ve been to New Orleans a handful of times and I’ve always had a drink here. Or should I say three as they are three for one. However the three for one is still like 8 bucks before tip but three domestic bottles at a bar for 8 bucks is a great deal. The reason I like this place is if you go during the day there are multiple tvs going and if you sit inside there is a great cross breeze from the front door being open to the open court yard out back. There is plenty of room at this place several bars including inside and outside. If you are going to get your drink on stop here. If you want a single drink then you should probably continue on

Ahhhhh, the beach… Sounds enticing, doesn’t it? Well it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. This is where tourists come to get ripped off. Horrendous service from employees who could give two s**** about you. EXTREMELY overpriced drinks and crappy music they try to pass off as «New Orleans». Stay away.

The only spot that seemed to be popping on the smelly Bourbon Street. Live musical acts. Late night dj with rump shaking beats. Was allowed to bring outside drinks. Sadly, they hustle hard to sell you $ 3.00 jello shots. Loved the courtyard and its wishing fountain. Loved the music, but at times was a hit or miss. So come here at your own risk.

At many bars in New Orleans, you can get a drink(a drink, not a cocktail) for somewhere between $ 4-$ 8, and if you want a double, it’s often just a couple bucks extra. A double here is double the price of a single, which was apparently $ 11(there’s no signage to let you know you’re going to be drastically overpaying for liquor). So I ended up spending $ 44 on two drinks that might’ve cost me half the price elsewhere. I didn’t find their vodka soda to be any better than anyone else’s vodka soda, so I’m just gong to buy them elsewhere from now on.

Omg this was my friends and I first time in New Orleans and we loved this club. We planned to walk to street to try different places but we were hooked. The DJ was playing some really good music. I love how the announcer would keep the crowd entertained and bring girls up to line dance along with other songs. The drinks were really good for the price. Our waitress was very friendly, my friend’s hubby bought the whole rack of shots and she was very entertaining while giving us our shots. That had us hooked and we could not stop. I would definitely recommend this club if you are in town. Anything on Bourbon Street is lively and worth trying at least once. You will not be disappointed.

I paid $ 40 fo two large drinks, and they were adequately strong. However, you want a water? You’re outta luck, apparently. No tap, only bottled. $ 3 or bust. That’s not a good policy for your customers that need to rehydrate. Poor service.

As a non-native Bourbon street was quite overwhelming and The Beach was recommended to us as the spot to go and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We had our friend’s bachelor party here and the crowd was certainly welcoming to all of us. If you’re in Bourbon street it’s certainly worth a stop by.

Stumbled into this beauty with some lady and male friends. I was pleasantly surprised. The music choices were great. Everyone danced for hours on end. The drinks were a little pricey though… But they have to earn their money somehow =]. As always… The pushy shot girls were looking to swarm you. Surprisingly, most of them went away when I said«no thanks» the very first time.

Why The Beach was No Day at the Beach: 1) No Cover = Pricey Drinks & «Interesting Crowd» 2) Suspiciously glowing test tube shots with a questionable delivery method. Also, she«didn’t have change for a $ 10.»(Seriously?) 3) Song requests are $ 20. I AMNOTMAKINGTHISUP. No discounts for special occasions either.(The song I was going to request was played later anyway so HA Dr. DJ!) 4) Huge drunk dude humping the floor and big booties twerking everywhere that will make you want to wash your eyeballs out with bleach. #WhyWontThisFadDie 5) A guy with a microphone who was rapping along with the music. I *think* he was supposed to get the party started or something it ended up more like karaōke gone wrong. Very wrong. 6) The one star is for the guests of honor who seemed to be getting their groove on anyway. #FirstDance (Also, I can’t Unilocal 0 stars. #FeatureRequest #WayTooOldForThis)

We stumbled upon The Beach on Bourbon by accident but stayed because of the amazing house band! We even came back the next night(a little more sober even) and they were just as awesome as we hazily remembered! The lead singers voice is absolutely beautiful. They play Sunday-Thursday and it’s clear they have a great time and get the crowd going too. The décor is nice and inviting. The bar has a fun feel to it and obviously doesn’t take itself too seriously. Definitely recommend!
