Delicious chicken fingers but slightly pricey. Worth it but, pricey just the same. The Cole Slaw is great as well! Chicken so good, we’ve ordered them x 3 in 3 days! My dogs are loving this!

Raising Cane’s is really REALLY good! They have a simple menu, which features amazing chicken fingers and to-lick-the-container-for cane sauce. I don’t go to fast food chain restaurants often, but Raising Cane’s chicken fingers keep bringing me back! I love going to Raising Cane’s on Saint Charles Ave for the convenience whenever I need a quick meal. They’re also open during Mardi Gras, so take advantage if you can. I haven’t been fond of coleslaw ever since my brother who worked at KFC as his first job told me, «Never eat the coleslaw…» So, even though I hear Raising Cane’s Coleslaw is tasty, I like that they allow you to substitute the coleslaw for extra fries, extra bread, or extra cane sauce!

So I don’t typically write reviews for chain restaurants — however my experience here today was excellent so here I am! Maddie took our order, and she was super sweet. We got our drinks and sat down and Maddie was kind enough to bring our food over to our table. The food was hot and fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. Very pleased with the overall experience at this Cane’s location, and we will definitely come back in the future!

The food was hot and decent but the friendliness you normally expect at most Canes locations was not present here. And the men’s bathroom was filthy despite witnessing a crew member walking out just as I went in. Did he not notice the restroom was dirty? Will only stop here when I’m in a crunch for a quick bite.

I’ve come here a few times in the past couple of weeks simply because I get off work late nearby and I’m starving at that point. This is the closest joint with something quick to offer. The service is alright but it’s not like the expectations are extraordinary to begin with. Well, tonight was probably the last time for me here because I had an armed guard staring me down with the door open while I was equipping my bicycle with nighttime lights… I was wondering for a while why that was. Was I suspicious because I’m riding a bike at night? Or, did he feel self conscious because I accidentally made eye contact with him earlier while he was cleaning the floor behind the counter? Who cares?! Perhaps they should hire friendlier guards? Or, I don’t know, they shouldn’t require ‘in-security’ personnel to clean the floors?! It’s a relatively new spot, I’m sure they’ll figure it out. They’ll have FUN during Mardi Gras, I’ll tell you that. Godspeed!

This is simply chicken strips and fries. That’s it. No idea what brings me here but something about the simplicity of their menu. Food isn’t quality a1 but I know what I’m getting which is decent food quickly and nice people working here. I stick with the caniac sub coleslaw for extra Texas toast. Winning.

Best Cane’s in town. The place is beautiful. Full of LSU, Saints, and Tulane decorations! And, I mean full of decorations! Staff is also extremely friendly, much better than the mall Canes

Generally speaking, I’m down with Cane’s. I am not, however, particularly down with THIS Cane’s. This is the most convenient Cane’s to my house and I’ve been here more than a few times since they opened. I’ve dined in. I’ve carried out. I’ve used the drive-thru. And, each visit is a little less pleasant than the previous. Had I written this review six months ago, they would have gotten at least one more star from me. However, based on my last few visits, two is all I can do.(If not for that damn, delicious Texas toast I would probably be only leaving one today… but I do love carbs slathered in butter, even if they do cause temporary lapses in judgement.) So, first off, the food… Cane’s serves four food items. Literally, four. They have chicken tenders, crinkle fries, cole slaw and Texas toast. That’s it. If you only have four items on your menu, you really should be focused on making sure they fan-fucking-tastic every, single time. This location just can’t get it right. I’ll wait and wait and wait on an order on to get ice cold fries with piping hot tenders(or vice versa.) If I’m lucky, that is. Usually it’s all pretty lukewarm. Then the location… this Cane’s has not been open that long at all. What? Maybe a year? The last time I dined in, the place was trashed(more on that later.) The shine has definitely worn off. And, finally, the service… it sucks. Plain and simple. No peppy, friendly greeting at the drive thru. No smiles. No thank you’s. Back to my last dine-in visit… The place was trashed. They weren’t busy at all but every, single table was dirty. I ended up cleaning one myself when it became clear that none of the multiple employees in the dining room had any intention of actually working that day. During that same visit the cashier caught major attitude over our drinks…(1) all of their dinners come with a drink and(2) they have a self-serve area where you fix your own drink. So, yeah, how in the world drinks are even a topic of discussion much less an area of discontent is beyond me.(Although, I was a little discontent over the fact that two employees were standing in front of the drink machines to have very loud cell phone conversations while making no effort to allow anyone else access to the area.) To be fair, she was the only employee who appeared to actually be working at the time, in which case I would probably have an attitude as well… except I would direct it at my coworkers, not a customer. But that’s just me. I don’t expect a 5 star meal at Cane’s. I do, however, expect a clean place to sit and to be treated with respect. This location fails on both accounts.

Nice tender juicy chicken fingers and good fries. This was surprising given the mall setting. The fast servers were efficient

Good service/food. Ate here 3 times in 6 days. Went to many other restaurants but this place was near me so it was also convenient.

My new favorite fast food. The hardest part is over ordering. It’s simple menu helps with my indecisiveness at times. The chicken is always fresh and it is real chicken you can tell. Non of that nugget filling. Real pieces of chicken. The canes sauce is so so good. However simple it works. The story is really loving and I can tell the food is made with love. The French fries aren’t amazing but I eat everyone of them. Order extra toast and coleslaw you’ll want more. You can always substitute the fries. Try there lemonade and ice teas very very good. Yes the lemonade is worth the extra dollar. The staff is always friendly and happy to see you. Only thing I wish is there lights weren’t so bright. Lol.

At 1am on St Charles Street, beggars cant be choosers. I love drunk food, and Raisin Canes fills that niche. Ill typically order a cainiac, something like 5 chicken finders, slaw, texas toast, and fries and Ill typically crush it. Sometimes they are pretty quick getting the orders out, sometimes I question what the fuck is going on there. Regardless, Ill crush my 1am caniac, and like typical bad decisions wake up the next morning in a world of hurt. However, drunk at 1am, Raising Canes is worth the walk or drive.

Let me start off with saying… I LOVE Cane’s. I have been eating it since the original location off LSU’s campus…1998…2:30am – a box with an extra chicken finger instead of slaw and an extra sauce for under $ 5…amazing late night memories :) This St. Charles location is pretty new and I was excited to not have to drive all the way to Elmwood for my Cane’s fix… but this new location has been consistently bad. The crew is all friendly but the quality of the food is not being supervised. The fries were extremely over cooked. Most of the fries were the little bits that had collected all day in the fryer, cold and mostly inedible. The chicken was dry and lukewarm at best. :( Step it up, Cane’s on St. Charles. I know you are better than this!!!

This place has the best chicken fingers. I first discovered Raising Canes years and years ago in Columbus OH and am in love with it ever since. So on my trip to NOLA I was ecstatic to see that they were scattered throughout the city. The only reason why I knocked off a star was the chicken here was a bit overcooked and a tad dry but still tasted so good with their special yummy sauce. The menu is very simple… chicken fingers or chicken finger sandwich. The sweet tea was on point. The day they open one in FL I will be one very happy person.

The one-star reviews must be people with Popeyes stock ;) If you want a healthy meal, don’t go here. But if you want some extremely tasty chicken fingers and phenominal texas toast, it can’t be beat.

I never have and never will understand the fascination with this place. It is nothing but greasy frozen fries with over battered chicken in a mayo sauce with spicy mustard mixed in. I ordered the sandwich to reduce the greasy fingers and absorb some of the grease it worked for my hands but not for my innards that still have the greasy taste in the back of my mouth. ugh
