Sweet people. They do a fine job! I had a blazer with a stain on it that the man was just heartbroken he couldn’t get out, but it was a stain that had been there for some time and dry cleaned by others to no avail! They are open when they say they are too! I recommend! They may not be miracle workers but they are honest.

This place is overpriced and for no good reason. I’ve had several things«cleaned here but rarely do the spots come out. I had a down cover cleaned, but returned to me damp and moldy smelling by the time I took it out of its bag a few days later. Not returning.

I have used Model Cleaners for the past 3 years and they have always done a great job on the cleaning. They will expedite if you request it. The price is reasonable compared to other local dry cleaners. To their credit, they did an exceptional job this one time someone spilled a large purple drink in the French Quarter on a brand new Helmut Lang silk top. I was told the stain would not come out by another«fancier» cleaner & Model Cleaners was able to completely remove the stains! If it hadn’t been a $ 400 shirt, I might guess they bought a new one to keep my business because their job was so flawless!

I’ve recently switched dry cleaners in the last year because this place is really close to my house. The service seems like a regular new orleans kind of place. By that I mean don’t expect service like in nyc, SF or any other major metropolitan area and they tell you straight up that your clothes will take at least 4 – 5 days so you know what to expect. I moved here for a slower pace of life(no more 80 hour work weeks) and this place kinda epitomizes how I feel about NOLA. Was it worth 4 stars? .haven’t had any problems and the owner turned me on to Korea House so he gets a little bump just for that.

The kindest, friendliest dry cleaner I’ve been to here in New Orleans. They recognize you immediately, and have your clothes ready.

One of the worst dry cleaning establishments I have ever been to. Expensive. Extremely slow. Horrible service. Literally argued with them about an alteration I asked to have done months ago. Came back worse than before and when I asked to have it fixed, I was told they weren’t responsible and I was charged twice as much as the original amount to fix it. I’m not surprised they messed it up from the beginning because they barely speak English. You can’t discuss anything with the owners.

I used to go here all the time. It was super close to my house, and was open for half days on Saturdays. However, it typically takes ~6 days for them to turn around your dry-cleaning. I do drop off 3 – 4 pairs of dress pants at a time, but really nothing excessive. The last straw(s) for me were that on two separate occasions I had to return dresses that had stains/marks. They both looked as if they had been pressed, but not actually cleaned. When I returned the dresses, they re-cleaned them without complaint, but it still took several days. So if you still end up coming here because of the location, keep in mind that it could take a week or more to get your clothes! Also, expensive, but on par with most of the other uptown drycleaners($ 6 for dress pants). You have to drive to Metairie for any reasonably priced dry-cleaners.

If you’re looking for a decent, reliable dry cleaner(and this can be a bit of a search in NOLA, I know), do not come here. Within my first few weeks in New Orleans, I started regularly bringing my clothes to Model Cleaners. The prices were higher than I’d experienced in other cities, but it was near my home, had convenient hours(open early!), and the man at the cashier was pleasant to speak to. Or so I thought… Two or three months into my regular use of Model Cleaners, I brought a dress in to be repaired. Part of the hem had come undone, and I wanted it stitched back up. Simple, right? Not so much. After receiving my dress and checking to make sure the hem had been fixed, I returned home to find out that they had also sewn the belt to the dress! It was impossible to even put the dress on with the belt attached, so I brought the dress back and explained the problem, expecting no issues. I didn’t want money or a new dress, I just wanted them to take out the stitches so I could wear it again! And yet, when I spoke to the previously cheerful man at the counter, he suddenly turned suspicious. «Did you sew this yourself? Are you SURE you didn’t do this?» Why on earth would I sew my belt to my dress? And isn’t it clear from the fact that I have to bring in my dress for a simple hem repair that I have no sewing skills or supplies? After 20 minutes of repeatedly asking me if I had sewn the belt myself, the man finally took the dress and told me to return a week or two later. A week or two, just to take out some stitches! Nevertheless, I came back and fetched my dress once again, and the man mumbled something about finding the employee who had sewn the belt. No apology for acting as though I was some free-dry-cleaning-service-seeking deviant, no nothing. Needless to say, I have not returned. Bottom line: if you are able to bring your dry cleaning needs to a cheaper and more reliable establishment, do it. They exist, trust me. Check out the one in Place St. Charles in the CBD.

I had a great experience with this cleaner and will go to them in the future. Brought in about twelve shirts on the Wednesday before Good Friday. The woman at the counter explained that they wouldn’t be able to have all of them done until Tuesday because of Easter. Sensing I was probably needing something nice to wear for Easter day, she offered to do a couple of my shirts and have them done by Friday. Picked up the shirts on Friday, no extra charge, and they came out nice. Picked up the other shirts on Tuesday and no problems at all. Paid by credit card without issue and was treated nicely the entire time. Will report back if anything changes.

This business is a good solid drycleaning business. They will not(knock on wood!) lose your clothes or overpress things. I bring them dry cleaning every couple weeks, and I have had alterations and mending done occasionally as well. They use a computerized system to keep track of your items, rather than manually writing out the ticket number like some places. I think this is helpful in not losing things. The owners have rude and erratic mannerisms and I don’t look forward to trips to the dry cleaners. I dropped off a pair of pants on a Wednesday and asked to pick them up on Friday(48 hours later). I was barked at and told«next time you bring them more sooner.» I felt pressured, and so I acquiesced and agreed to pick them up Tuesday even though I think they could have had them cleaned by Friday. In these situations, I would prefer a gentle explanation with an apology of why they can’t have them done by a certain date. I would also fully support an optional upcharge for next-day service. I think that would be a win-win for the people willing to pay for faster service and for the business. Please consider that. Another thing I thought was unprofessional is that the owner complained to me about credit card processing fees when I went to pick the pants up. I just think there is a level of good taste and decorum missing with these folks. On the other hand, they are a cheap drycleaner who won’t lose your clothes. I probably wouldn’t use this business if there were a comparable business in my neighborhood with nicer owners/staff members. On the other hand, it looks like they always have tons of clothes back there, so I doubt they are hurting for business. You won’t regret using them from a quality standpoint, but you might be a little taken aback at the rude customer service.
