I am very happy to report that I was personally contacted by the owner Giselle who remembered the transaction and extended a store credit on the erroneously purchased dress!

There aren’t many places on Magazine Street that I frequent as a shopper (now as an eater and drinker…) simply because I cannot afford it. Boutique clothes are great, but they’re far from my price range. Rye is one of the few places I will absolutely be returning to!
The jewelry especially is fantastic! Some of it is hand made, and all of it is colorful, unique and comes in a variety of textures (leather, beaded, silver, etc.)– something I love. And the prices absolutely cannot be beat! Think $ 20 for a pair of hand beaded earrings or a leather bracelet.
The clothing options ranged from things I could afford ($ 40 dress) to things pretty well outside my price point ($ 95 dress) but the styles and prices varied enough that I bet you could find not just something you love but something you can afford.
The service was fantastic too! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and had assistance the entire time I was shopping– even when the store got busy.
If you’re looking for a spot to find something quality, unique and affordable (even if it is a splurge) this is a GREAT place to start.

AMAZING customer service! We were visiting NOLA and stumbled into Rye on a very hot day. We were immediately greeted and engaged in conversation about what we were doing in NOLA. Although we did not buy anything, the woman was extremely helpful and gave us lots of suggestions of what to see and do in the city. Thanks for the great «southern hospitality»!

This is an awesome little gem in New Orleans. The owner is super-​friendly and knowledgable. The clothes are adorable. The location is great — both tourist friendly and convenient for locals. I would definitely recommend that everyone check it out. If you can’t get along in here, there is something wrong with you.

Although the clothing here doesn’t fit my particular style, I have to give them 5 stars because of the fantastic selection and great customer service.
As soon as I entered the shop I was greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. Although I was just browsing, it was nice that they were attentive to the potential customer.
There is a great selection of day dresses and cute tops and they have a huge selection of jewelry. I feel like their stuff is more on the «fancy casual» side but it’s really nice stuff.

I don’t know who Kristie dealt with, but the store owner was in the shop on Saturday morning and she was super nice. My friend found a ton of jewelry that she loved… and maybe a couple of pieces of clothing. I bought a shirt. Yeah I’m boring.
The shop has an eclectic vibe and the pieces were different from what I’ve seen in other shops. Definitely a spot I’ll check back to see what new stock is in.
Bonus parking is available in the Dominique’s lot during the day.

Rude staff that basically threw us out for no reason! I guess she thought I couldn’t afford her merchandise because it was raining and I didnt dress up to go out.
