This place is awesome to go to on weekends when you’re coming back from a long night out. The food is pretty decent, your basic diner food that appeals to teenagers. However, the service is pretty awful. During the week there is only about 2 people working and the wait can be outrageous. But when you’re drunk and/or high it’s fantastic

I didn’t eat here. Planned on dining with a co-worker, but everything on the menu is designed for the age demographic with high metabolisms

A new diner has opened up on the bottom level of the LBC in place of the wingery. I had never been in the space before this new iteration, but it is HUGE. There is even a grand piano in there. Would be a great location for a comedy show or small stage event. I ordered to go and was glad that there was a counter near the cashier where I could sit and wait for my order. The menu is pretty extensive for a university restaurant. It features breakfast foods all day, salad, pasta, poboys, daily specials, and pastas. I looked at other customer’s plates and saw a HUGE pancake. It was as large as a pizza. I ordered meatloaf with gravy which comes with two sides so I chose mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries. I waited approximately 20 minutes for my order and walked it back to my desk. The sweet potato fries smelled great and made my coworker jealous. Unfortunately, they fell flat on taste. I’ve definitely had better. They had too much pepper for sweet potato fries. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes weren’t great either. The meat was low quality and the mashed potatoes had bacon or maybe onions inside. It was kind of salty. I wasn’t impressed with the food on my first visit. I’m sure I’ll try it again since selections run thin in the food court if you buy lunch in there frequently. I noticed that there are two other locations in the New Orleans area. Now I know to skip those.
