This place is dreadful. They get your order wrong 9 times out of 10(not exaggerating — happened to me) and it’s always poorly made. Staff is rude and queueing up is terrible since there is no space. They are slow as molasses. The only reason this place is in business is that it’s the only place on campus to get a bagel, if Stein’s or Humble Bagel moved to Broadway this place would be out of business in about five seconds. Worthless, and really a shame they choose to keep a lame chain restaurant with terrible service when they could be supporting local(better) businesses instead. If nothing else, they could hire competent, or at least friendly, employees.

This is the one and only Einstein’s Bagel Shop in the Lavin Bernick Center at Tulane University. This bagel shop in staffed by the most incompetent and lazy people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting in my life. There are typically 3 – 5 people«working» there at a time but only one of them is ever actually doing anything. To the workers of Einstein’s, an order is a suggestion. There is usually a 50⁄50 chance you will actually get what you asked for when you order it. IF and only IF they get your order right it will typically look like some inbred abortion of the actual item on the menu. Unfortunately, Einstein’s is the only bagel shop on Tulane’s campus so Tulane’s students are forced to sustain this horrible place with their business. I am disgusted that this establishment has been able to exist in this condition for so long.
