Van Cortlandt Park Dog Run – Canine Court

Would not bother with this one.
Things it has going for it:
— Decent size
— Large & small dog areas
— Seating for humans
Things it has against it:
— No poop bags provided
— No shade
— Inadequate fencing between large & small dog runs
— Entrance area needs to be larger and gates need work
— No water for dogs in run but outside run
— Ground cover is just dirt, turns into a mud pit
— No bathrooms for humans
I have been to this park only once and I would not go back to it again. The people there seem nice but this run needs a major renovation. It has the size but unsafe fencing and gates just don’t cut it. Residents and their dogs in this area deserve better then this.
