Seton Park Dog Run

One of the sorriest dog runs I have found so far in the Bronx… but more importantly, it is one of the most unsafe I have found.
Things it has going for it:
— Separate large & small dog runs
— Has shade (maybe too much in large dog run)
— Decent size
Things it has against it:
— No bathrooms for humans nearby
— Unsafe, inadequate fencing, gates and entry areas
— Dirt ground cover
— Not kept up like most other runs in NYC
— Needs a major renovation badly
— No water
— No poop bags
— Limited seating for humans
Have been on a NYC dog run tour for awhile now and this is in my opinion the most unsafe dog run I have found so far. There are so many tripping hazards that I didn’t even bring my dog into this run. There are so many tree roots that I can see a dog or owner getting hurt very easily. I spoke to a regular and she states she injured herself not long ago by tripping over a root. The city should be ashamed of this one. if I could give a 0 star rating I would. Residents and their dogs in this area deserve better than this.
