Homer’s Run

Not a bad run at the northern tip of Manhattan.
Things it has going for it:
— Seating for humans
— Plenty of shade in summer
— Plenty of room for dogs to really run
— Water available, except in winter
— Small gravel ground cover but not enough in areas
— Bathrooms for humans nearby
Things it has against it:
— No poop bags provided
— No separate small dog run
— Fencing needs some work
— Entry gate doesn’t look secure
I have been to this park only once and I have to say this dog park isn’t bad. The people there seem nice and attentive to their dogs. Needs a little TLC and fencing to be worked on.
