I’ve been a great fan of Think Coffee and it’s co-office atmosphere. This was my first visit to their MePa location(most of the time I tend to slave at their soho location). First impressions, this place was bigger and brighter than its soho counterpart. Like the other location, you line up at the cashier and pick up at a separate counter. Offerings are the same in all the Think locations it seems(the food consist of various baked goods and grilled cheese sandwiches). I ordered a latte in a mug and a grilled cheese with cheddar and tomatoes(each additional toppings for the grilled cheese is extra). The coffee was alright and the grilled cheese was on point. However, the most important part of think coffee is the possibility to work continuously for hours and not get bothered. Of course don’t be a dick and order a few more cups of coffee if you plan on chilling there for 5 hours. All in all, a great place to get your work done. A problem with Think? Their bathroom. Seriously, all their bathrooms stink. I really wish they could do something about it. If they could, they would be a 5⁄5 in my books!

This place sucks. There’s not enough seating and it’s over priced. The staff is rude to boot.

Nice space, good coffee, suitable place to work or meet a friend. Loud obnoxious music at times, consistently no soap in the bathroom which makes me wonder how employees are supposed to wash their hands.

Excellent coffee. Staff not so much. I ordered a small coffee in a medium cup because I add alot of milk. Intead of getting 12 ounces of coffee in a 16 ounce cup, which is what I paid for, I got 8 ounces of coffee in a 16 ounce cup. And then I got an attitude from the staffer. «Any problem» he said, when I was momentarily speechless. I was with coworkers so I didn’t make a complaint but I didn’t give a tip either and I am usually a very generous tipper. Oh, and by the way, YOU are supposed to say«thank you» to ME. I am supporting the business that is paying your salary. And if I say«thank you» to you, it’s because I am polite, not because you are doing me a favor; so its inappropriate for you to say«no problem«as if you did me a favor. So lose the attitude, kids. Or continue to lose the tips.

I’m in here 4⁄5 work days, and my 5 stars are for both the management, and the quick service. Recently had an issue with a creepy man taking unsolicited pictures of myself and another patron, then cursing at us when we asked him to stop. The management were quick to respond, and dealt very level-headedly with what turned out to be a crazy person. I don’t envy them their job, but I certainly will continue to patronize their establishment. A++ Service is consistently speedy + friendly. They understand that their shop is stationed at a major thoroughfare, and the wait is never too long. A++ again. Also, their chocolate chip cookies are huge and delicious.

It’s my neighborhood think. The team is really sweet and the seating is generous. It still ends up being packed often but unlike grounded near by you have a shot.

Definitely an example of «Laptop-istan». Has a lot of seating but is occupied by people who will stay for very long periods of time. Get there early or risk not finding a seat. Menu seemed exhaustive(think coffee(ha!), food, pastries, alcoholic beverages) and priced in line with regular city prices.

Not hygienic. Last night I went to Think and the person working there was handling the trash and then when she took my order for tea, she washed her hands for literally 3 seconds and then took a tea bag out of a jar with her fingers. I cancelled the order and left because I had just witnessed two behaviors that were not hygienic and I don’t want to get sick. Furthermore, when I’ve gone to Think in the past, there are almost always crumbs on the tables and I usually see at least one homeless person sitting in there. The workers need to be trained better and the store should be managed better overall. It’s disappointing because the coffee is pretty good and it’s the only coffee place in the area that’s open late, but unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Good not great. Latte is mexico, nicuraguan, ethiopian. If you just think about coffee while walking around Manhattan, you’ll probably stumble upon a Think coffee.(My wife will kill me for that pun) You can get better coffee though. The room is cool to hang out, and that’s a definite bonus. But for coffee… Better places abound.

This is a great café to go to you and Chelsea if you’re looking to have a nice cuppa coffee with a small meal sit down and focus on any work you have to do. There is a large seating area in the back with a restroom and plenty of plug-ins. It is relatively quiet back there but occasionally you will get loud or obnoxious people. But that happens with any place you go to in the city. The staff is very friendly and they have great customer service. Highly recommend this café if you are looking for a place to be productive away from home, that also has wifi.

Feeling particularly picky about my coffee this weekend. After a very very well brewed cold brew on Saturday morning, and then having a series of incredibly disgusting cold brews at various well known coffee institutions across Manhattan, I’ve decided that Manhattan needs to be cured of this awful scourge that is terribad cold brew. Google it. Cold brew. It should not be bitter. It should bring out the flavor of the beans. I dunno what everyone is doing wrong, but whatever I had today was not cold brew. Okay. Bad coffee aside, the space is very large and table turnover fairly good. The back is very dim. I am pretty sure my eyesight worsened trying to study for LSATs here. Some seats in the back are better than others. I.e., the one right under the skylight. If you’re a grandma stuck in a 20-something year old body like me, stalk that seat like a hawk until you can get it you will thank me later. Also, those seats along the wall of the bathroom door are least cold. They crank up the AC here and once again, the inner grandma in me cannot deal with how cold it is. Bring a sweater. And maybe a snuggie. The noise level is what you’d expect, and once in a while if you need a study break I suppose you can eavesdrop on the girls chatting about how crappy betterment is or strategizing a way to break up with their boo thang(true stories). TL;DR come here if you need a large space but are more or less indifferent about the quality of your coffee.

Tons of space, great coffee, great place to study. Sometimes annoying people talk a lot on the phone or loudly with their friends, so if you’re studying, bring ear plugs or headphones.

I really do enjoy my think coffee locations. In a weird way the ambience allows me to clear my mind and literally… THINK with more clarity. Even when there are a ton of people. This location has what looks like picnic benches in the back. I’m looking forward to when think adds almond milk as a regular option.*hint hint* This is one of the larger more relaxing locations

While waiting to meet my favorite gal pal to head out to happy hour I stumbled in to escape the heat. This is a mellow jazz playing coffee shop perfect for meeting, working or relax in. Very steady writer vibe. The staff was laid back but professional, the perfect vibe, unlike some of the chain brand coffee shops around NYC. Came in around 5pm

Came here for tea after a friend and I were skating and he needed a place to chill and kill time before his class. I had a regular green tea with no added sugar. Overall this place, had a typical coffee shop vibe with free wifi and outlets. Music and service were plus. Kinda dark in my opinion… towards the back

The coffee wasn’t life-changing, which was a bummer. If the word«Coffee» is in your name, you should probably make sure it’s bangin’ quality. The bathroom was a scary experience. Also, I wrestled with the WiFi. Seems like it’s hit or miss from the previous Unilocal reviews. Lucky for me, I was close enough to the Starbucks across the street to pick up their signal. I really enjoyed the size of this place; plenty of room for everyone. Calm & work-friendly. And the spinach quiche was GOOD! I would go back just for the quiche!

The coffee is decent. I like that they offer three single source blends freshly ground upon order. In NYC, it’s too easy to buy good coffee, so atmosphere becomes another important factor for me. The ambiance here is nonchalant. The lights are dim making it a very easy place to relax. I also like that the wifi password is easily accessible.

When I first moved to New York this was probably my go-to coffee spot, and by the end of my stay, I tried avoiding this place unless I needed a coffee fix and was in the area. I like what they stand for and how they source their coffee. That part is cool. But I was paying almost $ 7 for a latte that was good, but even I left wondering what I just paid for. Because I never stuck around to sit inside. I tried once, and it was packed with people on their computers. The staff is the part that bothered me the most. I used to come here probably 3 times a week for months, and only a couple of times did I feel like anyone was remotely friendly or personable. I get it, it’s work, but someone being nice when your are handing them $ 7 every time would be a welcome change of pace. Or maybe I just have really bad timing. Either way, I don’t think that should fall on your customers. The fact that I was spending as much as I used to here at first, and due to how rude the staff was on a consistent basis made me choose, hate to say it, but Starbucks across the street. Go to Joe’s.
