I’m not a huge Starbucks fan, but we came in out of the cold on the day after the 2016 blizzard. The place was mobbed and we were served reasonably fast and had a hot coffee. For me, that is good enough!

This Starbucks does not serve coffee! Repeat… it does NOT serve coffee. I have visited this location two days in a row and both days they have said they ran out of coffee. That’s not even the worst part… their attitude about it is what makes me want to give them a zero. I suggested they put a sign on the door so that I would have not waited in line for 15 mins to find out coffee was not an option. Several employees responded (with a lot of attitude) that a sign was not needed and then started talking to the customers behind me. They told me to let them know if I decided to order another drink. Ummmm… Ok, you don’t offer the ONE thing a coffee shop should be able to supply (COFFEE) and you’re going to have crummy attitude about it. I highly recommend a review of supply chain management and customer service for this store.
Steer clear!

I’ve been staying at the Broadway Millennium for the last two days and had to come to this place for breakfast. at 8 am, they had no coffee, or hot water, ran out of bagels and egg and cheese sandwich. Sad part, none of that had improved the second day, still no coffee or hot water!!! And no sign so people wouldn’t waste their time here. What is a Starbucks without coffee??? 1 stars because it looks nice inside but that’s all the good things I can say about this place. This place needs a new management.

If I could give this Starbucks ZERO stars I would. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They haven’t had coffee or hot water for TWO DAYS!!! And no one in there seems concerned. Shut this store down!!! I am absolutely furious! This store needs some team building exercises and customer service workshops ASAP! Steer very very very clear of this location if you want to continue to have a good morning!

I’ve been standing around in this place for over twenty minutes. Twenty minutes, waiting for one cup of cup of coffee. I guess it’s easy for the staff to not give a lukewarm over-​roasted shit, since all the customers are tourists. I work across the street though, so I write this review in silent protest even though we all know damn well I’ll end up back here eventually. F* you, Starbucks.

Just your typical Starbucks. Tasted the same as any location. Service was pretty fast which was nice. We probably came to this one at least a few times on our trip, and every time we were pleased. No complaints at all, drinks were made perfectly. The location is prime, located right down times square. How awesome is that? Every time we hit times square we came here lol

It was my first time in time square and I was running out of batteries on my cell to map my routes so I decided to stop by this Starbucks to grab a Chai Tea latte. I needed something warm because it was so cold outside. My Chai tea hit the spot and warmed me up. I was also to get my phone charged enough to get back to Penn Station hhaha. The only thing I could recommend for this location is build another bathroom.

Love this Starbucks! I’ve been going to this one whenever I’m visiting (originally from Cali). While it’s super close to the crowds in Times Square, this location seems to be a hidden gem. I’ve never had trouble finding seats to do work/​study. The wifi speed is pretty good compared to other cafés I’ve been to (and I’ve been to a lot in the area) The baristas are pretty friendly. Ordered a frap and asked for Java chips but they were out, and then they went and found a bag from the back and put them in for free!

Came by for coffee a few times and the line is always long and my drink is no good…
Ordered a latte with extra foam and it came out without foam.
…sometimes the line is out the door and it take a good 5 minutes for the drink to be ready.
…the interior is pretty dirty and messy… prices are slightly higher since it’s right in Times Square too…

I like this Starbucks, because it’s more spacious than the other Starbucks in the area. There’s also a lot more seating available.
Only downside is that the line to order is always very long during the week.

This is the SLOWEST starbucks in the city. For some reason they only staff one barista, one register person, and one «wanderer» during the weekday morning 9am rush — and on top of that they move VERY slowly. This is the closest Starbucks to my office, but I find that the one ON broadway in times square between 43rd & 44th (this one is technically on 45th St, not Bway) is much faster and has better customer service. This may be a great location for those who are looking to leisurely sip coffee and hang out — they have a lot of tables and seating — but if you’re in a hurry, don’t bother.

Couldn’t agree more with the previous reviewer (Whitney G); this Starbucks sucks when it comes to timeliness of service– and the worst part is that the ‘wanderer’ was manning the cash and getting the coffee orders, which makes for a longer than acceptable wait– all the while the line-​up is building. Starbucks really needs to have this addressed.

they apparently don’t believe in heat. its winter. sort of.
sometimes the staff can be loud. happy, but loud.
tourists come thru and for some reason never fail to leave their crap behind.
otherwise, the staff is pretty friendly. they try to use your name when they remember. theres a good amount of space, not too much traffic, and most important of all, the bathroom usually doesnt have a line.
not the most interesting review, but this place has served me well the past few weeks so had to give it some props.

Manhattan Beach, CA
Frequented this branch the most during my stay in Manhattan since it was close to my hotel. Hours were good. Seating was adequate. Service was horrendous. Never been to a worse Starbucks in terms of service. Don’t know if it’s the Manhattan/​east coast attitude or the staff in general, but reminded me of why I moved away from Manhattan.
