Michelle was awesome! She helped us out with a smile and was patient with my indecisive mother. It’s great to see people in this industry enjoying their job so much!

My sister and I came here while taking a late night stroll during our last night in New York for my birthday. This was actually the night before my birthday I believe. I loved being able to see the happenings in Times Square while sitting here. Very cozy location. Customer service was ok.

I’ve been here many times and have always been pleased. Despite the incredible crowds I’ve seen they have always performed well. Tonight I was disappointed. There seemed to be some personnel disagreements which affected overall performance.

As a huge Starbucks fan and Starbucks gold member, this is typically my go-to location near work. The experience is ok if you order online through the mobile app, but otherwise it gets very crowded here. Until today, I’ve usually had a positive experience. Despite the crowds, the quality is typically very consistent with other locations. Note, this is a grab-and-go location only, and does not offer any seating. Unfortunately, it was clear that the staff was very overwhelmed this afternoon and their attitude demonstrated their frustration. When I asked if the half-priced frappucinos deal was on, the woman responded«Thank god its done.» After ordering a croissant and iced coffee, it became clear that the branch was beyond overwhelmed. 5 staff struggled to take and prepare orders. The total wait was over 10 minutes, and the iced coffee came without the simple syrup I asked for. Additionally, my friend’s frappucino was in the wrong size. Overall, decent coffee shop if in the neighborhood, but locations outside of Times Square are much preferred.

A grumpy Asian guy took my order. This venue should start taking in real employee and give them more training. Bad experience!

As we stood there in line getting coffee 1 of the staff opened the door wide open letting in cold air, pulled out a mop and bucket and began washing the floor. Isn’t that usually done after the store is closed or at like 3 am. Idk. The staff seemed disoriented and just doing their own thing. Granted It was 1 am but still there was something very«we don’t give a shit about you right now» in the air and on their faces. The service was alright but not on point. The layout and look of the store sucked– I’ve seen other Starbucks with beautiful wicker baskets, nice displays etc. Not this one. It looks unclean as well. Not organized and well taken care of. But it’s a Starbucks and its in the heart of Times Square so I’ll probably be back to get coffee despite high prices and the lackluster store. 3 stars.

The only aspect I liked about this location was their staff’s attitude. Despite the rush hour chaos, they were still keeping smiles on their faces and were very patient. I appreciate their efforts to give customers a better experience. However, I came here twice and both times they took my order wrong. They don’t listen well to custom orders. I wanted to try the cherry blossom frappuccino. Knowing that the temperature was well below 35 dergrees, I asked the staff if I could change the frappuccino into a latte. She said yes and just to make sure, I asked again if I would be getting the latte, and again she said yes. But when the staff called my name, what do I have in front of me? A freezing cold cherry blossom frappuccino. I looked at the receipt and it also said frappuccino. If they said they didn’t have the latte version or that they couldn’t make it, I would be happy to order my regular vanilla bean latte. But no, they lied to me and then proceeded to give me a cold drink to drink in this freezing weather. As for the cherry blossom frappuccino, this was such a disappointment. I already expected that Starbucks lattes and frappuccinos were going to be sweet. But the level of sweetness of this drink was beyond their normal overload of sugar. Flavor wise, this tasted too artificial. The only part of this drink I slightly liked was the foam milk. This drink is limited edition, only offered for a couple months, and it should stay that way. In fact, don’t even offer this drink at all. Would I buy this again? No. Would I recommend this drink to other people? No, unless they want to drink this as punishment for games, then yes. Would I come here to buy other drinks and food? Probably not.

I like the green tea latte. The staff does a good job of keeping things going at this location which is crazy busy. This is not a Starbucks to come and sit in. The sheer volume of traffic means you should plan on a relatively quick pickup. TIP: morning is especially crazy with tourists and Times Square working folks. Expect to small wait. My advice? Use the Starbucks App to preorder drink and/or meal. Pickup is a breeze, there’s no line.

Is there anything bad one can say about any given Starbucks location? TIP: to gain an extra point on your purchase, order ahead via your Starbucks app & have money on your loaded Starbucks card or credit/debit card linked to it. This location is open 24 hours, however, it has no seating.

Be careful, they have no understanding or respect of lines, they will serve randomly, you may be waiting for your coffee while 5 people behind you get theirs. Terrible service, no real apology, they actually served 2 more people who were behind me «after» I warned them and they said I was next!!! Worst startbucks experience ever. Needs new management!

I did not have the issues with staff and service that everyone else here is posting about. I walked in one very cold weekday morning to get coffee. There were about 10 people in line in front of me — and the staff cranked through the line very fast. The only complaint I can muster is that the place is so small. Trying to get to the area where the creamer is — was a challenge because there were so many people crammed into such a small space waiting for their drinks.

Yes, it’s open 24hrs, but unless you’re here at 4am with one other customer, you’ll with you never came here. Tourists will be struggling with the coins equally much as the people working the registers and the employees will make you feel like they will slap you in the face if you don’t understand english. Just don’t go if you’re having a bad day, ok?

Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. TINY store in a packed tourist area. Lots of workers but 90% are disorganized and have no direction. Some just walk back and forth and do nothing. Today, 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwhich-people after me got served first-and this has happened before. I was 10 minutes late to work today. Won’t be back here.

~ «ABANDONALLHOPE, YEWHOENTERHERE» ~ LETTERTOSTARBUCKSABOUTMYCRAPPYSERVICE(7÷26÷2015 @ 6:29PM): Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing a letter because of the horrible service I received today. I went in on Sunday afternoon to get a drink for my girlfriend and myself. I got an iced venti dirty Oprah chai latte with soy milk. Also, I got an iced tall coffee inside a grande cup with 6 pumps of caramel syrup and extra ice. Everything went smoothly until I went back to the register for a refill on my iced coffee. I told the male barista that I wanted a refill on my iced coffee. He immediately told me that the store doesn’t give out refills because the store has no seating. I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor was of no help either. I told the supervisor that I understood the policy of staying inside a Starbucks in order to get a refill since I was a former partner. However, I also explained to the supervisor that I never heard of a Starbucks not giving out refills based on the lack of seating accommodation. Robotically, he explained that the store needs to maintain its policies. I walked away from the store. I have already posted this message on the social media website« Unilocal.» I hope this crappy experience doesn’t happen to another person like me. I will continue to tell my friends and everyone not to visit this store. Never again! Pissed Off Customer and Former Partner, H.

It’s a Starbucks in the middle of Times Square, so you’re asking for trouble just by walking in the front door. During the morning rush hour, they’re completely unequipped to handle the volume of people — not because they don’t have enough staff members, but because the ten or so people behind the counter are wandering around looking like they have no idea what they’re doing. There are maybe two people at registers, one person at the baked goods/pastries case, one person making drinks, and the rest of them are just standing there picking things up and putting them down again, getting in the way of the people actually doing work, and not contributing to the customer flowthrough at all. I went in this morning and ordered a breakfast sandwich along with a skinny caramel macchiato. After ordering, I noticed(on the little display on the register) that he had entered it as a nonfat caramel macchiato(not the same thing — the skinny version uses sugar-free syrup). I asked, «that’s a skinny caramel macchiato, right?» and he assured me that it was. Predictably, when I received my drink, it had a label on it stating that it was a regular caramel macchiato with nonfat milk. On the bright side, it didn’t take them that long to get me my(incorrect) order. But by then there were about 15 people in line, plus another ten hovering around the pick-up area waiting for their orders, and I just didn’t have the patience to ask them to make me a new one. Either they don’t know what they’re doing here or they just don’t care, and my suspicion is that it’s a lil bit o’ A and a lil bit o’ B. Oh, and there’s also no wifi(not sure why Unilocal says there is), as if you needed another reason to avoid this location. If you have any choice in the matter, don’t come here(I’m only here as often as I am because I work across the street.)

As a loyal Starbucks customer I am very disappointed by this location. The staff was very unfriendly and the only reason I received my croissant 20 minutes later was because I had to keep hounding the register staff to get it. And by then it was cold. Just ridiculous. There are Starbucks locations on every corner in the city, go to a different one!
