Great ambiance here, came for one of my friends birthday party, the hostess and waitress was really nice and the food was amazing. we spent a few minutes at the bar, before and after the meal and the drinks are very good too. Bar tender was very pleasant. Definitely recommend it.

This place doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Or it might be that they lied to me at the entrance since I didn’t qualify for whatever the criteria is to get in this place.

I ordered from this place my first night in the city after moving in. I was so exhausted and was in the mood for Thai. My friend recommended this place so I gave it a shot. I will definetly come back and continue ordering. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I asked for them to make it spicy and the food wasn’t as spicy as I would like. Other than that I would definitely recommend it.

Monday night, 7:30pm, 3 people. 20 minute wait – fine, it was nice outside. Service was good. We ordered appetizers and mains(various rolls, calamari, pad see yew, Room Service Pad Thai, and something else, I don’t recall.) Everyone thought their food was just OK – nothing special and certainly not the best in the neighborhood. The atmosphere, décor, etc. are interesting and makes it seem hip and cool. Except the chairs. The chairs are just not right for a restaurant. Not terrible, but I probably won’t go back.

Came to the club only to have some guy that could barely speak English tell me that I was at the wrong place. I asked him what the address was and he said 3821st street and then I looked across the street and that was 38th so he lied and gave me the wrong address and it was 35th street. I guess my crowd was the wrong crowd for them. Oh well we will spend our money elsewhere.

I have come here a few times to shake my tail feathers with my friends. It’s a typical snobby club where you are only allowed in if you look a certain way. The music is chill depending on the dj. I prefer to party uptown these days.

Went here on a Saturday night. Luckily there wasn’t much of a line and we made it in fairly quickly. The party wasn’t overly crowded and the dj was a bit inconsistent. The drinks were definitely a bit overpriced, but based on the headache I had the next day(and others in my group) you don’t need many for a big night. They also have cool individual seating areas, hence the name«room service» I guess. Clubs are not really my scene in general and I think there are likely better clubs, but this one was ok for the night.

Came here Saturday night for a costume party for Halloween Weekend. DJ was really good– had fun mixes of current music but not too much trance. Everyone was on the dance floor all night! It was a good crowd, and everyone was having fun. The line moved quickly even though already were on the list. Bouncers were nice and helpful because my boyfriend and I were waiting for our friends to come out and get us. The only draw back was the side bar was a little slow(there were only two bartenders) and the minimum for a bar tap is $ 30 instead of $ 20 like most places. Although it was a little slow, the bartenders were very nice as well. Room Service= good music, fun crowd, decent drinks. Looks like I’ll be back here soon!

$ 15 for an One OUNCE shot? FORREAL? Aside from the 1oz shots, bartender was slow as sh*t, couldn’t even count the proper amount of alcohol she was pouring into a pint glass to chill. After chilling and pouring out our kettle, she was short one glass WTF? That’s not even it, she then pours Henny into one of our kettle and had to re-make another chilled kettle! The Dj was talking way too much. Party goers dont wanna hear you talk every minute! Let us dance shit!

I came here on a Saturday night around 11PM. According to the bouncer Asian Night was on Friday, I guess we didn’t get the memo. We tried to ask how much cover was before we got inside, but they kept avoiding the question. So once they let us past the rope and inside, they told it us it was $ 20 cover. Being the frugal Asians we are, we decided to leave. We stood outside for awhile trying to figure out our next move. I guess we were standing there for awhile because one of the bouncers came over to invite us in without having to pay cover. We told him were were waiting for 3 other friends and he said that was fine. Once we got in, they did a really thorough purse search and pat down. I’ve never experienced that before. Then, they force you to check your coat for $ 4. It was obvious why they let us in, it was pretty empty inside. The Bartender at the back bar was really sweet and friendly. It was nice inside and pretty spacious. Even when it got more packed, there was still room to move around. It was kind of disappointing because the crowd was kind of tame and not a lot of people were dancing.

I was spinning here for NYE recently. I came early to party and listen to DJ George Garcia spin before I did. His music was great and the place was ridiculously packed. I love the fact that there were there another bar/lounge when you go to the back and there is a small hallway. The free glasses of champange was good However, the cons were the really poor service(I guess becuase it was NYE and there was only one small bar in the front of the club which everyone was hogging up). I would rate it 3 stars but I really liked the crowd, they were amazing and really energetic(even though I got song requests like every 3 minutes). Overall, if your looking for a good time, Room Service is a nice spot when its semi-packed. But be ready to wait at the bar for a long time and don’t expect your drink to come with a nice shiny glass(more like plastic cups).

I went here recently for a friends Birthday Soirée, and I really had a blast. Why do I give it 3 stars then you might ask, Well I showed up @ 12.15 ish and had to pay a $ 20 cover plus $ 4 for coat chk per item, which means she gave me an «u owe me another $ 4 bucks look wen I handed my scarf over», yeah right(I tipped her and it was settled. lol) Barkeep were quite friendly(++), drinks were ok, and atmosphere is nice with plenty of space. What really rocked my world was our party’s DJ and the people I was with made it a blast… I find that’s usually the case. May or may not return, if I do it’ll be earlier to avoid the cover.

I’ve been here many times since my first review and sadly it is no longer anything special. It’s just — meh =T The music has become more typical club music. Basically, the top 100 played song in the last 6 months. It’s become an all Asian club. I’m not hating on my fellow Asians, but I like going to diverse places. One thing has not changed — overpriced drinks!

A terrible excuse for a bar/lounge. I am directing this review towards the grumpy, inflexible and unfriendly employees of this place who do not know how to do business, period. They knowingly take advantage of people with their inflated prices and low quality products. We booked the place for a private event and 1. their slideshow sucked because it was a PROJECTOR, not even a real flat-screen TV and 2. their promised appetizers? Nowhere to be seen. 3. WEAK drinks and no specials as was also promised. The people who work here love to suck you dry and demand unreasonable things with a careless attitude towards the consequences. Eventually they will have no returning customers because people will realize how much they are ripping you off. Avoid this place at all costs. There are so many better places to go to in the area — no need to waste your time and money on this crap.

Here a couple of weeks back for a friend’s birthday and actually had a pretty good time. Not sure if I would have the same good time had I had to pay for it and/or had to wait on line at all. Good points: Music was pretty decent, the crowd was pretty attractive, and it seemed like people were generally having a good time. Bad points: Music was loud enough that I felt like I couldn’t talk at all to anybody I was with unless I was screaming into their faces and space was sort of limited so there wasn’t that much room to dance. There is this really nice VIP section with private tables that was much more spacious that a few of us sneaked into for a few minutes, but I guess it was pretty obvious that we weren’t VIP, so we were promptly thrown out. Sigh.

The ladies working the front didn’t know wtheck they were doing. The room to get into the club is small as it is. They were so disorganized people started piling in and it started to feel like sardines packed in a can! It was such a pain actually settling down at our table. We changed tables THREE times until we finally got a table near the dj booth. The dance floor was a pretty nice size. There are tables surrounding the club and 2 bars in the front and back. Their dirty as$ bathrooms are downstairs. One of the stalls was out of service and there was 3 stalls in the bathroom! No central air down there, it was hot as heck! I could feel my hair getting as big as Aretha Franklin’s hair. The music was alright except the fact that the dj kept talking during each song. That and he played a couple songs more than once! I would’ve easily had a better time if I was able to dance through an entire fricking song with no interruptions! The music was so loud my feet were vibrating on the floors. At some points it masked the actual song so you couldn’t hear what was being played. Decent club. Nice people. Bleh music. Okay times. I don’t think I’d ever wait nor pay to get in this club.

I came here with my party girls! …seemed pretentious but we got the hookup… so what can I say :) I had fun! I guess that’s what matters most right? I liked their mix of music and had a blast dancing like no one was watching! @_^

Since I read all the negative reviews on this website about Room Service, I really had low expectations about this place. Turns out, Room Service is not as bad as it has been played out to be. I had no problem getting in on a Saturday night. Music was fine with me. They played alot of hip-hop, mashups, and then only house after 1 am. Being from NJ, it was a completely different crowd then your usual fist-pumping guido scene. Just to make sure you get in, make sure you get there early around 11:00 — 11:30. I had friends who arrived after 12:30 and the doorman wanted them to buy a bottle. Also, make sure you don’t roll up with 4 guys only. No sausage fest needed. Finally, make sure you look nice. Guys, no polos or t-shirts. If you’re a guy and not wearing a dress shirt or something of that sort, you’re not getting in! Seriously, it’s NYC! I’ve been to clubs in South Beach and it’s the same thing! Clubs can be very selective and let in who they want to let in. They basically have an image to keep, and they’re not letting anyone in. Crowd was alright. It was not a young crowd, as I had expected. I’m 25 and I didn’t feel as if I were the oldest person there. Everyone does think they’re a hot-shot but hey, that’s how it is at any major club you go! Get used to it!

whackkkkk. this is a club i have decided to never go to again. i walked in. hung out for about 20 mins. and bounced. picture euro trash except they’re 17 – 21 yr old looking. played mainstream music and some other corny bullshit that you might hear at your aunt’s wedding. the setup is horrible too. there are VIP tables in the middle of the club where a spacious dancefloor would be more suitable. the main VIP table in the back up on this balcony is crazy crowded. i don’t know whats worse. this or touch. UPDATED: I wrote a review here that this place was extremely whack. and indeed it was when i went. however, i came back to update on my experience from last friday night. so. fridays i guess is one of the better nights.(this is my 3rd time trying to go here. 1st and 2nd time i left asap). the music was significantly better. clubs in nyc are good depending on who’s throwing the party, the DJ, and the crowd. all are diff on diff nights. here i had alot of fun. it’s also best if you get one of the private tables with the curtain. you’re facing the dancefloor yet you have your own space with your friends. arrive really dressed up, get really drunk, and dance a whole lot. that’s how you do it at room service or any other hot club. it also helped we didnt have to stay at our promoters crowded table. me and my 2 girls got drinks from him and then would just sit at the table across bc no one was using it. depending on what party is being thrown, i’d give it anywhere between 1 – 5 stars. hit or miss basically. Music: 4 Crowd: 3 Atmosphere: 3 – 4

Super strict door policy where even buying bottles wont get you in? Check. Super hot model girls over 5’9″ and havent really experienced life? Check. Sweet décor, awesome DJ’s, and one of the most diverse crowds(culturally) in NYC? Sold. I have never had a bad time there, although I was once bored. I resolved this by staring at all of the beauty around me and then I got over it. Ladies — The only depressing part is watching stereotypes come to life when these perfect women are with really unattractive dudes who are paying their bills. Hey, nobody becomes a famous model overnight and not all girls like hosting at Coffee Shop or selling clothes in SoHo.
