I can’t say the place in entirely clean — but it is a great dive bar that I enjoy going too!!! It is super cheap and super fun! They have two levels so great for groups and entertain beer pong upstairs!

If your trying to get girls don’t come here. Atleast when I came the ratio was really bad. The lighting was good and the music was alright had a decent mix but favored more towards country

Great energy to watch the NBA playoffs and just the right amount of crowded. Will definitely be coming back here for all my sports viewing

Love this place had a great time. Eric made sure the whole bar was having a good time. Only thing that sucks is the tvs are hella high and lamps can block the view. Will def be back again.

Unbeatable happy hour deal. Bartender was so friendly and on top of her game. I had the Goose India IPA which was a hit. Good music selection too! I also love that they have a little ledge on the bottom of the bar to put your bag on so you don’t have to hold it or hang it on your chair.

Your typical college bar– they even have beer pong on the second floor! They have great drink specials, every day of the week there is a good deal. Having been to one or two of their other establishments, I wasn’t disappointed. Half priced Wednesday’s means $ 4 drinks and shots! It’s a good place to get a drink and catch up with friends. The drinks are good but the bar itself is OK. Nothing too special, but good for a regular night out.

Classic NYC bar that caters to the youth. This is more of a college bar so its definitely not my scene. The drinks are super cheap so it ends up being super crowded. Its not a bad place but under no circumstance would I plan to come here. I landed here on St. Patty’s day bar hopping, prior to that I haven’t been here in years. They have beer pong downstairs which is fun IF you can actually get anywhere near the table. I have never been here and seen the table available. Upstairs you’ll find people dancing and hanging out. Overall depending on your scene this can be fun, its definitely not a bad place but not the place for me. Im not opposed to passing by for a drink or shot during the week if Im in the area!

Cool college bar! Cool bouncers, cool crowd, cheap drinks, beer pong… Not my scene anymore, but it is a great place for a young crowd. It did kinda smell, but I honestly can’t complain.

Came here after a comedy show on a Friday night. The bouncer was doing his job and being a good greeter, not your typical asshole you usually run into and there are a ton of them in the city. Despite this, I wasn’t too impressed with this place. They have a nice balcony to look over the first floor, a few beer pong tables, and a ton of TV screen to watch sports. Nothing impressive stood out to me. I believe they had some drink specials or happy hour going on. $ 3.50 for some of the basic mixed drinks? I’m getting 5. This is only thing that will pretty much get me to come back.

Came here on a Monday night with a few friends looking for a lively place to drink. We had tried a few places already that were pretty dead, but we saw that this place had a great deal on pitchers on Monday nights(can’t remember the exact price but definitely under $ 10 each). The place is really laid back and has a very college-y vibe since its right near NYU. Overall I wouldn’t really come here with any intention other than getting a good buzz off of some inexpensive drinks, but definitely cool that they’re open late and have some good specials. Also they’re right next door to Artichoke Basille’s which is a huuuge plus and a great place to go for drunchies!

Being from out of town, we walked by and saw how cheap the beer was(couldn’t pass that up). We proceeded into this very college like bar to watch the national championship and had two beers. We then left to go see a comedy show and came back after to finish watching the game. When we walked back in, Joe(the bouncer), let me in but not my 24 year old boyfriend. He showed his ID and a credit card as a second form of ID. Joe then kicked him out without giving any reason whatsoever as to why he wouldn’t let him in(other than«this is a fake ID»). This«bouncer» needs a quick lesson on how to check ID’s properly. And Joe, if you’re reading this. 1. Be nice. 2. Check for second form of ID(if you do ask and see that it matches up, don’t start more problems, just get your manager to help you out) 3. Don’t lie and say there is no manager on duty, that just makes you look like you can’t handle the situation correctly. The only reason I am giving this establishment 2 stars is because of the ACTUAL manager that was there, Nick. When Joe kicked us out I called the bar from the outside which is where I spoke with Nick who came outside and was more than accommodating and let us back in and gave us drinks on the house. Thanks Nick for doing your job correctly! You’re awesome!

God awful place but the prices really bump it up for the review. Being in a cool part of NY, I expected it to be More expensive but it was pretty chill. But this place sucks. Our waitress was a complete ass the whole night. She acted like we made her work that night. Gee sorry. Asked her for an extra menu and she said«if I can find one» okay. Delivered our food with no utensils or extra plates and had to continuously flag her down because she was constantly meandering around the packed place on Sunday football like she had nothing to do. On top of that, the bartender kept banging that damn bell over and over again. Why? And the crowd that hangs out there is bleh. Young kids looking to fight over a stupid beer pong table, starting trouble. Pass!

I have been to this bar several times & it’s always a pleasant experience. Melissa, one of the bartenders, and her brother(upstairs bar) are especially great at handling multiple orders quickly. The drinks are very inexpensive(especially for the area) and all of the bartenders are awesome. There’s also good security so nothing sketchy goes down here. The place gets super crowded but it’s always a good time. There’s a beer pong table upstairs.

I been to this bar a couple of times and every time I go it is always a great time. The drinks are not expensive and all the bartenders I have dealt with are always so nice here. This place does get super super crowded but if you are with your group of people you totally forget about it. Upstairs they have the ping pong table which is good fun and the music is good as well. I haven’t tried the food but it does smell good or it can be that you are wasted and think it smells delicious hahaha.

This bar is casual, laid back. Good spot to watch one of the games while having a drink. They have a lot of specials which is a plus.

For Sunday football — there’s no better place to be other than a bar that has every single football game playing all at the same time! They have probably 15 TVs, each showing a different game and if you sit on the balcony on the 2nd floor, you’ll have the best seat to watch every single game instead of looking up at the TV’s you’ll be looking slightly down which is the natural position for your head. Anyway — tater tots and wings are good here. Nice and Meaty them wings are. Beer is very cheap during the games. The only qualms i have about this place is that it’s a cheap divey sports bar that will smell like stale beer forever. But it’s cheap and you can go and spend 20 bucks, get drunk and full and you’re set.

This is for the restaurant, not the bar, because I can’t hear myself thinking when I’m there so I have no fully formed thoughts about it. But I came for a quick dinner the other night before a trip to the Comedy Cellar and honestly it was pretty decent. Got the wings and a barbecue chicken quesadilla, and they were both above average. There was definitely a small downside of having beer pong balls bounce onto our table twice, but maybe if those college kids could make their shots that wouldn’t happen as much. Anyway both the wings and the dilla were good, especially given the price and the expectations. Also we got an $ 8 pitcher of Budweiser. That’s an unreal deal. I think it’s a daytime thing though. 3.5 stars.

Half off Wednesdays! On everything! That’s pretty incredible, but I will say that my drinks weren’t very strong. 3 gin and tonics for $ 10 and 6 shots(3 whiskey, 3 tequila) for $ 20 is not a bad deal. The atmosphere is very divey and it’s a typical sport’s bar. It has two stories though, so the place is huge. Not a bad place to head over with friends when you’re lookin for cheap drinks. The bartender who served us the shots seemed pretty irritated, but who wouldn’t at 3am, surrounded by drunk people?

One of my favorite bars now. Prices are alway great especially if you come during happy hour or other specials. This is part of seven other bars that have these specials. Some of these bars include Gin Mill, Jake’s Dilemma, Down the Hatch, The Stumble Inn, etc. They really know how to market and get the more people in. Good thing too because now that I work within walking distance of here, I’m almost a regular. With Saigon Shack across the street, I just might come here everyday. But first… a liver flush. FAN.
