Not only is this place ridiculously overpriced and I’ve gotten very sick from food purchased there, they have the nastiest people working there. There’s an elderly man working the registers at night now who based on my interactions with him, appears to hate women. He doesn’t seem all that fond of Americans either, but he appears to have particular disdain for women. It used to be a cute ridiculously expensive store conveniently open 24 hours but now there’s a very shady feel to it. From now on, I’ll be shopping elsewhere. There’s a 7-Eleven on 1st Ave for middle of the night shopping needs.

There really are only two things you need to know about #1 Farmers Market. 1) They are open 24⁄7. 2) They are expensive as H-E-double-hockey-sticks! There aren’t too many places in the area that stay open around the clock. I love knowing that I have a place to hit up if I need Advil, or ice cream, or tin foil at 4AM. It is really under that circumstance that I’ll ever be making my way back here because a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and a small VitaCoco cost me $ 11.43! What a rip-off!

Stay away! This place is beyond filthy. I bought some prepared pasta and within two hours my boyfriend and I were sick. When I went back they brushed me off. Oh, and friendly??? Are you kidding? Rude rude rude.

Stay away from their pre-packaged food. I got their«Homemade Vodka Pasta» for $ 5 and what a joke it was. It had NO taste and a minuscule amount of sauce. I was so angry I paid 5 bucks for pasta with a teaspoon of tomato sauce. My sister got a chicken salad wrap and it was an entire chicken breast covered in mayo in a greasy wrap. Also was $ 5. Waste of money.

i dig this place. it’s open twenty-twenty-tweny four hours a day, and they’ve got everything at reasonable prices. snacks, [food] staples/essentials, random international foods, an olive bar, pre-prepared foods, cheap cheese(good for my ghetto-fab wine and cheese parties, ya know?), a good selection produce, etc etc. plus, the woman who works here schools me on how to pick out a good piece of fruit/when different fruits and vegetables are in season. i’ve never sought out her advice on this, but she often busts out random facts while i’m paying. I LIKEYLIKEYANDSOWILLYOU!

I stop in here for cheap produce when Gristedes’ looks like crap. Good olive bar and cheap cheese. Open 24 hours too
