Pizza was fine, not great. My husband got a hot slice, mine was lukewarm. They overcharged us and rang up as zero.

I found this place close to my hotel, it sounded good and was closing in 30 minutes. So I walked over and got there in 10. First I walked by because all the chairs were up and a guy was sweeping. But it was only 9:10pm so I went to the door and walked in. I asked if they were still open and was told yes. Then the guy told me they were closing so only food available was the 10 or so various pizza slices still left. The sandwiches got good reviews, but ok, I’ll have pizza. Picked two slices and they went into the oven. Came out and got boxed and time to pay. I took out a credit card and was told«cash only». I pointed at all the credit card stickers on the door and was told«yeah, but we’re closing soon». So I haven’t taken a bite of the pizza yet, but the service in my opinion was pretty bad. The idea that a sandwich or some other menu item could not be prepared a full 20 minutes before closing is ridiculous. As is the idea that 20 minutes before closing the card machine could no longer be used. I hope the pizza is decent, but even if it is, I’ll find a more customer-friendly palace next time.

Boyfriend and I were looking for a quick slice between hotel check-in and a show. I zoomed in on an area on Unilocal and picked what was #1. I only saw later that it had a grand total of two old reviews, one being 2 stars. There’s nothing to this place. A counter to order, and a counter by the window to eat. I got a plain slice, and he got a chicken tomato slice. Let’s call this pizza«pretty good.» I wouldn’t go out of my way for this pizza, but if I were in the area and hungry, I would come back.

This is a bold call but the chicken parm sub is the best in New York. Not the best in Manhattan. Not the best in NYC. The best in all of New York. Pizza is good too. But both the chicken and eggplant parm subs are OUTSTANDING.

This place is right next door to my job, and i used to eat there all the time because they HAD one of the best Chicken Parm Heroes in Manhattan, but the last two times I ate there for lunch, I had to leave the office sick several hours later… I am under the impression that it is the lackluster, overpeppered sauce that sits on a steam table that did it to me, Avoid the slices as well, The Low Fat Mozzarella that they use just doesnt melt like the whole milk that a good pizzeria would use only adds to the lack of flavor that a formerly GREAT hero spot has become. The cutlets are still off the wall good though.
