Very quick and they keep things pretty clean for a 99 cent pizza place. Very close to my workplace too.

$ 2.75 gets you two slices and a can of soda. $ 10 for a whole pie. Good pizza. Fast service. Standing room only.

For $ 1, I couldn’t really expect much, so I set my expectations very low and I wasn’t disappointed. I believe the slice of cheese pizza that I ordered was worth what I paid. There wasn’t anything great about the slice, but then again, there wasn’t anything bad about it being that it was only $ 1. There was the right amount of cheese and tomato sauce, with a somewhat crispy crust, but for the price, it can’t be beat.

Not to bad for the price but it’s definitely better when you catch the pizza just out of the oven and with some sweat in the sauce makes the whole difference

Thin and crispy pizza. The crust could use work but it passes for an okay slice. The cheese is gooey and there isn’t much of it but hey a dollar a slice. Kind of a small slice also. But I like. I’m sure the recipe for the pizza is the same for the other 99 Cent Fresh Pizza places but I think how you enjoy your slice is based on the particular pie and when you get it. Maybe I just got my slice at the right timing and/or from the right pie. I also like that they have a variety of sodas. No like for no restroom and no seating. —Cheap Quick Filler— But I still enjoyed my quick snack of a slice.

I asked if they could make two slices without cheese, which I get is a difficult request for w pizzeria. He said yes, however, and just picked the cheese off and gave me pizza with some melted cheese for a kid with a dairy allergy. I left it and said no, my kid is allergic. He couldn’t understand the word allergy apparently and wouldn’t just give me a refund. He kept expecting me to just take the pizza with a little cheese for my kid. Uh, no.

I went here twice while I was recently visiting Manhattan. This place offers a slice of cheese pizza for 99 cents. It is $.50 for each additional topping. Both times I went I had a sausage slice with bottled water, which is $ 1.00, so my total was only $ 2.50! The pizza is thinner crust, classic NY pizza. It’s served on a paper plate or you can get it in a to go box if you’d like. Both times I was in and out in less than 8 minutes. The staff is friendly as well.

$ 1 per slice $ 8 for an 18 inch pie Not a bad deal! I was in there for no more than 1 minute, and it was only that long because I wanted to put some pepper/Parmesan cheese on it. **Cash Only If you like really cooked pizza, this isn’t for you. It’s very doughy and soft. Not a crispy or burnt part of it. Not much seating/table space so I suggest taking it to go

$ 1 pizza, it’s definitely no joe’s pizza but it fills you up.

The $.99 pizza slices are pretty small. The volume is large, but the slices are small. The sauce is really bland(kind of like they cracked the can of tomato sauce and just poured it right on). They gave me my slices cold(didn’t heat them). The guy told me it was $ 3, so I gave him a $ 5, and he put it in the register and walked away. I had to yell at him to come back and give me my change. He then told another guy his total was $ 4 and then came back and told him he owed $ 6. I’d say it’s mediocre pizza except it’s probably worth the $.99 price. But keep an eye on the person at the register.

Of course I had to come to this place when we were in NY! My kids found this place last summer when my son moved to the city, and I’m glad they did :) It was late… 11 maybe, I’m not sure, but this place was packed with local kids. Looked like they were coming from skating. The smell of $ 1 pizza filled the room as you waited to order. We ordered the cheese and topped it with hot sauce. Apparently that’s how you eat it out here. The crust was doughy soft & chewy with a little crisp on the bottom. Next time I go back I’ll try the other toppings.

Excellent 99 cent pizza. I liked it better than 2 bros. The pizza here has less sauce but the cheese is more tangy and the place is less dirty. Imho, I think it’s better than lombardi’s pizza but what do I know, I’m from california.

I mean it’s 99 cent pizza. What they lack in ambiance, customer service, selection, etc. they make up for in delicious, quick, convenient 99 cent pizza.

This certainly isn’t 5 star pizza, but at 3:30am it hit the spot. A few friends and I arrived after a night of drinking and dancing. We needed something to fill us up before heading back to the hotel and passed by this joint. There was a small line and only a few slices left. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which was $ 8. It took about 10 minutes for us to receive our pizza, which seemed like eternity at that point. We devoured our greasy pie and didn’t have any adverse affects, so we considered that a success!

You know the frozen pizzas you buy at the supermarket and heat up in the oven? The ones that are a little pricier? That’s what the pizza here is like. I’m not sure why anyone would waste time actually trying to describe or qualify the fare you get at this place. It, like all of the other permutations of this venue, serves up perfectly passable dollar-a-slice no frills pizza meant to fill the hole. And it does that quite well. I work the overnight shift at a firm a block away so I stop in every once in a while for a slice or two if I’m peckish at 2:00 a.m. The service is meh. Still, I’m a white guy of means so I fret over whether or not to tip. I mean, how much do you tip a person for bending over and handing you something that costs a dollar? I’ve settled on dropping a buck in the tip jar every third time I’m there. Not that it’s ever acknowledged, but whatever. Latin Quarters is a night club a block or two away. It attracts mostly ghetto people. What’s worse than sharing a small space with ghetto people? Sharing it with drunk ghetto people at 2:00 in the morning. It’s like they’re working overtime to legitimize every negative stereotype about their communities. They’re loud and obnoxious. They crowd the front of the venue so no one can get past. They throw money and commands at the beleaguered Bangladeshi kid behind the counter and, because they were essentially raised and socialized by their grandmothers’ television sets, you can guarantee that you’ll never hear«please» or «thank you«uttered from their lips. On those nights I’m in and out as quickly as I possibly can. Bottom line: it’s NOT New York Pizza, but the taste-to-price ratio makes this a winner if it’s after midnight and you’re hungry, low on cash, want something immediately and don’t care about eating while standing up(or walking).

Everytime I come to NYC, I make sure to stop in and grab some slices. You get what you pay for, which is a quick, cheap food option in NYC. The pizza tastes fresh and isn’t greasy or unsettling. There is no tax to add to the dollar price so that is also a plus.

This pizza place was ok, BUT the service convinced me that I should pay at least $ 1.25 for my slices. The staff was really rude, slow and kept trying to make us wait although we had arrived before others. Apparently we didn’t see the imaginary sign that said line up here. So we were punished with longer wait. When we called this to their attention they got upset. How are you upset when you are making me hangry???

Pizza’s good and cheap. Perfect cheap lunch or late night snack. $ 2.75 for two slices & a soda… Unheard of for midtown NYC; right on Lex! Cannot beat the value and quality isn’t bad. It is what it is — $ 1 slices and a stand up counter. Popular with tourists, drunks, cheap skates and hungry NY-ers looking for a fast, cheap slice.

What do you say? You get what you pay for. $ 5.50 for 4 slices of cheese pizzas, a bottle of water, and a can of soda. I didn’t land NYC until a quarter after 11pm and this was the only place that was open when I finally settled into the hotel. If this«pizza» was considered cheesy bread, it would be alright. The tomato sauce was nonexistent and there was not much cheese on the pizza. However, the thin crust was lightly crispy and was pretty tasty. One star for late hours of operation, one star for the crust, and one star for the nice employee who reminded impatient New Yorkers behind me that early bird gets the worm. A few guys behind me kept throwing dollar bills at the employee and demanded a slice of pizza, but he stood his ground and calmed them down. Being a small woman like myself, people sometimes act as if they don’t see you and I really appreciated the employee for that.

Décor: 3.5÷5 –Probably the same owner as the 43rd location. –There is standing space to eat. Service: 3.5÷5 –They offer the usual toppings and hot sauce(Tabasco) –more friendly than the 43rd St location Food: 4⁄5 –The pizza was served piping hot and smelled great. –First bite and I was hooked! I immediately walked back in to buy a second slice. –The cheese and sauce was just right in saltiness. –The crust isn’t as crispy but also not undercooked.
